Wonderful place with all the amenities you need. The golf cart was really a plus for us, it allowed us to move easily and efficiently. The pool was also lovely. The accommodation is clean and well-equipped with everything you need. Leonie's recommendations were superb. We recommend it without hesitation!

We had an AMAZING stay Casa Mono CR! This place is an absolute gem. To start, the property owners, (Matt & Barri) are extremely nice people. They are easy to work with, super accommodating, responsive and are just good people! As for the property, it was spotless, new and full of amenities. This place has everything you need to be comfortable for any length of stay. The location is breathtaking and the amount of wild animals we saw was so cool. Monkeys, iguanas, geckos, birds, kept us searching for wildlife our entire visit. The pool was also a hit with us. They had great wifi, comfortable beds and so much more. We stayed at three places during our visit to Costa Rica and this place was the best by far! If we ever get back to this beautiful country, this will be the only place I stay. Thanks Matt and Barri for an amazing and memorable stay!

We had a great time, everything was perfect.We loved the pool and the casita was perfect for my 25 years old daughter. The view was incredible. There was construction near by but it wasn’t loud. It didn’t affect our vacation. I loved the kitchen, it was really well equipped! We highly recommend La Caza de Paz and we would come back for sure!

Our family of six had a wonderful stay in Sámara! The property was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable during our visit. The pool was absolutely massive and a perfect way to cool off after a day of exploring the area. The location was great—within walking distance to several grocery stores and restaurants. The driveway is a bit steep, so we rented a quad from just across the street, which made getting around super easy and fun. Leonie was an excellent host—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely recommend this place to other families visiting the area!

Wow, what a beautiful spot. The views are breathtaking, surrounded by 180 degrees of jungle canopy and the ocean below. The pictures really don't do it justice. Torrie and Esthefan met us to personally take us to the villa upon arrival, which is a short 5 minute drive from the town and beaches of Samara and was a great jumping-off spot for adventures. We spent mornings in town, or exploring nearby waterfalls and beaches, and afternoons cooling down by the pool or relaxing in the shade with a book. The outdoor bbq and well equipped kitchen was perfect for making meals, and we had a local family of monkeys visit us daily, along with Coaties, lizards, frogs, crabs and a variety of birds. The villa was equipped with lots of fans, which were welcomed as there is no A/C in the villa, and with temps reaching 100 degrees the fans were very much needed at night. We had a great time and look forward to returning to this beautiful spot one day. Thanks for an amazing time!

Wow, this place is truly paradise. The view, the birds, the pool, it’s all there. Luis was a great host and the house has everything you need. A few things of note that may not be in other reviews: if you get a clear night the stars are gorgeous. You can see every star in the sky. The house comes well equipped with beach equipment. The kitchen pantry was well stocked and there were all the cooking dishes we needed. We would recommend and would return again! We nearly felt guilty for not being seasoned birders- the cliff side view of the ocean gives you unbelievable bird sightings!

We enjoyed our stay at Skawak Sanctuary in Nosara. It was very peaceful sitting on the porch hearing all the sounds of nature including the ocean. We waited anxiously to see the monkeys who didn’t come over by us until the last day but we saw the whole troop of 15+. We enjoyed walking Playa Guiones and there were many great places to eat. We very much appreciated the tea kettle, coffee and a French press. Sunrise coffee shop was a personal favorite with amazing bowls. We did yoga at the Bodhi Tree 5 minutes away almost everyday. We are big yogis and the selection of classes and quality of teachers was amazing The place was hard for us to find when we arrived in the dark in pouring rain, but we made it with the directions provided. As noted in other reviews there is no laundry onsite and the bed was a bit too hard for my wife although fine for me. We came during the rainy season and the rain on the metal roof at night became quite loud all part of the jungle experience.

The place is super cute, with lots of green areas and a gorgeous garden. The house is beautiful and very spacious, ideal for six people. It is super well located, just a few minutes from the center of Nicoya. Katia and Carlos were excellent hosts: always attentive, very friendly, and answered all our questions with patience. The place has many fruit trees, which attracts a variety of birds. If they like the observation, it's perfect: we saw trogones, aracaris, titiras, motomotos and more. The pool is beautiful, as is the ranch, ideal for relaxing surrounded by nature. We will definitely be back!
