Luxury ensuite balcony room + brekkie nr Newcastle

NatashaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Moira’s place was wonderful and we’ve already recommended to friends & family. The views are lovely, it was very clean and Moira is very friendly and sweet. The location was great - we got to explore castles and Roman forts. Food options were great - Soho Tavern Gateshead & Giuseppe's Italian Bistro were both fantastic.

We had an amazing time and loved our stay, Darran and Gill were so welcoming and such thoughtful hosts. The property was more spacious than we imagined, and felt very homely. We will definitely be looking to book again. Thank you Darran and Gill

Lapwing Cottage 5 * nr Beamish, Newcastle &Durham

JenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We booked Lapwing Cottage to have a peaceful place for me to recover after hernia surgery, and the space was perfect, and the hosts lovely. The cottage had everything we needed- including a lovely little Victoria sponge and farm fresh eggs! The location was inspiring. Pheasants, grouse, and herons flock all around the farm and it was lovely waking up to them each day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. I only wish I had been physically up for exploring the trails around the area. We will definitely be back when I am recovered!

Laburnum Cottage, Lanchester

Beautiful cottage, games area was great, really enjoyed ourselves. Hot tub was lovely and the garden area at back was secluded and well maintained. Loved the outdoor shower , great before getting in hot tub but also useful for hosing down a muddy dog. All in all the cottage felt really homely and a little bit of luxury. Emily seems to be a lovely host and always responded quickly to any queries. Will recommend her to friends and family and would certainly consider coming back.

Quarry Cottage

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A beautiful little cottage! Everything I needed; comfortable, clean and perfectly located for me. Stunning area of Northumberland. I spent a while trying to find the correct entrance though, as the picture on the website is actually not the entrance with the key safe. Make sure you enter and park in the FIRST turning on the right. The stairs are VERY steep (not an issue for me, and they make this clear in their communication) but it’s definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The shower is powerful, which is great. It’s a little small though and it’s easy to knock yourself on the tap lever which can either change the temperature or switch off the water entirely. So I would say you might struggle in it if you’re a larger build. Overall it was exactly what I needed and I loved the feel of the place. Gorgeous stay!
