Surridge Cottage - Peaceful retreat

HannahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Surridge Cottage is beautiful, as soon as we arrived down the lane we knew it would be perfect and it was and more. The cottage has been beautifully restored with high end finishes. Even the heated floor in the bathroom didn't go missed (my daughter loved it). Great location, we took a few trips out. Went into Lyme Regis and took the children to Crealy. If you want a private country break in a cottage, you won't beat it. Thank you, The Mellors x

The Potting Shed - cosy country cottage

FlorenceRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had such a lovely stay at the Potting Shed. The location was beautiful- so peaceful and picturesque. The Airbnb was cosy and the bed was extremely comfy. We were there in 30 degree heat but it was lovely and cool inside. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day and stay again!

We couldn't have been more delighted with Amy's stunning cottage. Gorgeous interiors, welcoming & homely, yet felt really special & unique. Comfortable beds & plenty choice of comfy chairs & sofas to relax on or enjoy the views. Watching the sunset in the hot tub was such a highlight. Lovely walk to town of Langport, including a swim in the river Parrett. Simply beautiful - hoping to return when we can 😊

A Stunning Dorset Thatched Cottage - Dog friendly

RichardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Ruth's cottage was wonderful. The garden is totally fenced so it's dog friendly. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. The bed was comfortable and nicely firm. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the decked terrace when the sun came out. Ruth left us a small food hamper with bread, crisps, bread, milk and wine. Our spaniel enjoyed her walks into the Moreton village and playing in the ford. Moreton village has a walled garden and a cafe, and the church windows are something to see. Also, Lawrence of Arabia is buried in the village grave yard (separate from the church yard)

‘The Nest’ A beautiful cottage in Devon

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our family of five, which includes three adult children, thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Nest. It is as pictured and described and spotlessly clean. We stayed for 3 nights, which included a wedding at a nearby venue, spending time in all the different areas of the cottage, and going for a lovely circular walk from the door. Many thanks Sarah

Charming Brick Cottage with a Patio and Hot Tub

PaulRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A homely and clean accomodation on beautiful settings on a farm, reminding us of memories of staying on farms in our childhood. Approximatley 30 mins from Weymouth where we carried out our bucket list - a visit to Durdle Door by boat, attendning the festival, swimming in the sea, going on the big wheel, eating delicious meals and relaxing in beautiful harbour settings. And where we could return from our days out to relax in our wonderful accomodation, sit in the garden, with a barley field backed on to us, listen to the cows in nearby fields and relax in the hot tub! Spending time together away from the hustle and bustle of life. Our host Jane made us feel very welcome, providing us with helpful information and was at the end of a phone or text if we needed any additional help. Thank you Jane - we made precious memories during our stay

Our third stay here, still as amazing as ever! we brought my parents along this time and they loved it as much as we did! Always spotlessly clean & tidy! A lovely touch on arrival to recieve Prosecco, milk & biscuits, just what you need after a long drive 😊. Anna is so warm and welcoming, absolutely no issues and always on hand & quick to respond if you need anything! Will hopefully be back again next year!

Grove Farm Cottage-historic Cottage near Sherborne

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have just enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay at Grove Cottage. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has everything you could need for a stay. The garden and neighbourhood is tranquil and it’s a short walk to the local pub. Jo and Terry were attentive without being intrusive and we very much appreciated the bottle of cava. Chetnole is a good location for most surrounding tourist attractions. Thank you.

Beautiful thatched cottage near award winning pub

RebeccaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage over Christmas. Glenda gave great directions and check in instructions, with dinning recommendations. She was very helpful throught the stay. The cottage was perfect, it was exactly as the photos, stylish, welcoming and luxurious. We didn't want to leave. Glenda had also gone the extra mile with lots of fabulous touches. We felt so welcome and the were overwhelmed with the gorgeous Christmas decorations, a lovely surprise. It was also well appointed, so many thoughtful details. We loved the butter dishes, lamps and artwork. Everything was very considered, clean and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. Great location and brilliant pizzas at the pub, just a walk away. There was a little park for the boys and the local shop in the neighbouring village was well stocked. We loved it and would love to stay again. Fantastic break, thank you so much. The perfect cottage escape.

Knapp Cottage 2 Bedroom Dog Friendly

SaoriRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our family of four had a fantastic stay at Kristina's cottage. Check in was very easy and Kristina sent over plenty of useful local information beforehand. The location is lovely - very peaceful and beautiful and with the advantage of a pub and shop in close walking distance. The cottage was perfect and extremely well equipped. Clearly a lot of love has been put into the renovation. We would love to stay again!

Shepherd's Cottage

SarahRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Lovely little cottage which was immaculately clean and well presented with rustic aesthetic. Interior and exterior are beautiful. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly and there to help for anything we needed. Bed was comfy and we had 2 nights of great sleep. Very quiet and lovely to hear all of wildlife and no hustle and bustle from vehicles. The cottage was pet friendly and our dog was really content and loved the garden. The bath on the end of the second night was a great added bonus. Although the cottage is very rural, it was really easy for us to travel to local towns, pubs and attractions. We would recommend to anyone wanting to explore Dorset and would love to stay here again.

Fantastic place, great vibe, and lots of kitties to hang with. Loved the quality of the place, it was done with care, not a slap dash money making scheme. Wished we stayed longer than one day. Do NOT hesitate to book.

Whatley Cottage, Rural Retreat.

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Absolutely faultless, this is the best air bnb we've ever stayed in without a doubt. The space was perfect, immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. Hayley clearly takes pride in hosting and couldn't be nicer, we felt instantly welcome and right at home and could just sit back and relax for our stay. I cannot recommend this place and Hayley enough :)

Thatched Cottage by Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door

DeborahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Nut Cottage was a perfect location for us. We were able to walk to both Lulworth Cove and the Durdle Door, two of the sites that we came to see. There were also lovely restaurants within walking distance (we didn't have a car). Sam and Katie were very responsive hosts when we had questions and they provided a list of helpful (and great) restaurants for us to try. They also gave us a heads up to reserve ahead, which I am so glad we did!

Little Roost at Uplyme: Luxury self-catering

RachelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Little Roost which Rosemary helped us to prepare for with answering our queries, helpful recommendations for dining out for a special event and sending such helpful directions and check-in info. The cottage is set in such idyllic surroundings which surpassed our expectations and the walk into Lyme Regis was beautiful. The immaculately clean and lovely smelling cottage had everything we needed and more. A special place indeed. Thank you Rose, we will definitely be returning. xx

"Potting Shed", Dalwood, Near Axminster

SteveRating, 5 stars2 days ago
As a base to explore the Jurassic coast it’s a superb location, allowing for peaceful evenings after a tiring day out. Enjoy a drink by a scenic pond in a very well managed garden as the sun sets was right up our street. The kitchen is fully equipped for 2 guests and the twin beds combined into one large bed allows for a perfect nights sleep. The bathroom is compact but fully functional with a decent sized shower. Ample parking outside the property. The village pub is an historic building with some of it dating back to the 12th century and the food is excellent. There are plenty of restaurants / pubs in the area as well as nature reserves, woodland walks and coastal treats, the water is blue and the beaches vary between stoney to Sandy. Be prepared to pay for parking everywhere with the price increased between April and September. The Seaton Tramway was fun and a drive down to Labrador Bay allowed us to watch Dolphins and the rare Cirl Bunting. The is too much to do.

Relax in Myrtle Cottage at The Old Thatch, Pitney

JuliaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Myrtle Cottage was a lovely place to stay. Clean, well equipped, good facilities & all in the heart of the countryside. A warm welcome was provided by our hosts and dogs. Basic provisions left in the fridge were a bonus. We were given tips on where to eat out & a few ideas of local walks. All in all we had a great stay which was all too brief.

A wonderful week. Comfortable, modern, well equipped and beautiful setting. You can walk out of the front door and start lovely coastal and countryside walks in all directions. Food was very good (but pricey) at The Anchor. The Clock Inn was also good. The George was closed. Waitrose/Coop in nearby Bridport.
