Travellers—if you are thinking of going to Grand Manan-go! And if you go to Grand Manan—stay here! Seaside cottage is centrally located for your visits up or down island. We loved exploring Grand Manan; we equally loved our time on the deck watching the tide and the fog roll in. Alex is a wonderful host in all ways; especially a top communicator. We had some ferry drama on our first day and Alex was on top of it all the way. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Magpie and it was the perfect spot to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. It was a rainy weekend but we made good use of the BBQ and hot tub under the covered porch! Very clean and comfiest bed ever! We also visited the coffee shop and took in the view at the beach. This place is a treasure for sure!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Lake House! The scenery was beautiful! The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Swimming and fishing in the lake was so much fun. Chaz was super responsive and friendly. This will definitely go down as one of our favourite vacations ever. Our oldest even caught his first fish ever, right off the deck! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for the ultimate vacation in comfort and relaxation!

What a beautiful spot! My siblings and I had an amazing stay and highly recommend checking out this piece of paradise! To be back on Lake Utopia after 15 years has been so memorable! We are so fortunate to stay on the same lake that we grew up on and visited every summer. This incredible space was absolutely stunning. Thank you Catherine! We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful location , rich in history. The grounds are amazing with lots to do including walking trails. The receptionist was very friendly and took the time to give us a detailed explanation of where we were staying and where all the amenities were located. The breakfast was very good and the location is central to many attractions. Loved we could visit with our two dogs . I would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful setting with a view of the bay. The house has a well-equipped kitchen for cooking. The immediate area has some beautiful hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again.

5 stars for the unbeatable views on the porch— we spent hours reading out there and had a lovely dinner out there during sunset! Inside, the ship theme (i.e. signs over the bedrooms) was adorable. While the property technically has all the amenities listed, note that amenities such as laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, cooking basics (i.e. spices, aluminum foil, oil), and trash bags are not included. The TV is also very small and far from the couches, but we brought games so no problem! Overall it was amazing, and my group would book again in a heartbeat!

Our stay in L’Etete was absolutely perfect! The space was clean, modern, and beautifully designed—comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The real highlight, though, was the private beach and the incredible sunset views each evening. It felt like our own little piece of paradise. The location is peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to town for anything you might need. Waking up to the sound of the water and ending the day with those breathtaking sunsets made the whole experience unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great local recommendations that made our trip even more special. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unwind in a stunning coastal setting with thoughtful hosts and beautiful views!

A great place to weather a storm! We were greeted by a rare nor’easter so we weren’t able to hike around much but we enjoyed having coffee and looking out the windows at the gorgeous view. There was a bit of a snafu with the cleaners that take care of the property, but Brian was very responsive and apologetic and offered multiple solutions. The bidet in the bathroom downstairs was a bonus!

It was a very comfortable and cozy home, well appointed, with a helpful and responsive host. We would love to return!

Kurt was very responsive and super nice. Very accommodating and dog friendly! Also his house cleaner is super nice! The location is ideal for a quiet get away and close to Machias, Campobello Island (Canada). I felt very safe and at home there. Much nicer than staying at a motel and you have your own yard full of hummingbirds on the deck and a private entry to water. I never heard another person.

This was the best last-minute find! We are so lucky to have been able to spend time in Kate’s cottage on her beautiful property on Orange Lake. Being right on the water you could not have better surroundings. The double open/ screened in porch we loved to sit on. Very tranquil. we loved using the kayaks to go out on the lake. My husband especially loved the fishing. I would definitely love to rent this cottage in the future when I am visiting my cousin in Lubec. Everything was as described in in the pictures and even better.

We were looking somewhere particularly animal friendly where we could have our pup off leash with plenty of space to roam but also not crowded. This getaway was perfectly suited to our needs. Seeing the deer and even a fox roaming the property was a peaceful experience. The cottage was cozy with many personal touches and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We could easily get to everywhere we wanted to go. We have no complaints and would highly recommend this getaway. This area is just far enough away from the crowds of Acadia and Bar Harbor but easy access, safe and pleasant. It is also absolutely beautiful.

Our stay at Gull's Landing was truly perfect. The home is so tastefully decorated with timeless coastal features and spectacular views. It was sparkling clean and had plenty of amenities. The location is ideal, within walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops. Karen and Dave were always responsive and accommodating to our requests. We can't wait for our next visit!

Picturesque view with lobster boats, the pier and the ocean. Quiet mornings watching the sunrise and lobster boats going out was relaxing. Having Chippman’s Wharf down the road was an added bonus for fresh fish. Nice location!

My third time at Carol Sue’s beautiful little cottage. The view is breathtaking. The last morning, I could see a group of seals fishing in the water. I watched boats coming and going. The cottage itself has everything you need and so many thoughtful little touches (phone chargers, rain ponchos, binoculars, etc). Close enough to walk to the grocery store and to downtown but private, too.

We loved our time at the Artists Cabin! It was very private with a great beach and spectacular views. Krista and Jordy were very communicative and responded quickly to all our questions. We hope to return soon!

This was our second time staying at Bob’s place. My wife and I and our kids had a blast! We popped into st Andrews for groceries and for a couple of lunches during our week long stay but the majority of the time we spent out on the back deck and yard enjoying the beautiful view and a warm fire! We also cruised the beach when the tide was out looking for all sorts of treasures. There’s also some lovely trails around… there’s really no need to venture that far… everything you need is right there :) Our kids are begging to return and we certainly hope to next year. Cottage #7 more than surpassed our expectations. We have family in Pembroke, and we elected to stay here for a visit and this will be our go to spit every time. It's super quiet with all the essentials which made it easy to unplug and unwind while being really close to food options and shopping. We are definitely going for a waterfront spot for our next visit, but #7 sits alone atop a hill overlooking a Meadow, which is really nice from a privacy standpoint. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Thank you!
