Chloe’s place was truly something special. The view couldn’t be better—right on the water! The upstairs features a large opening to the beach that makes you feel like you’re living outdoors. It does get warm during the day, but with the fans and side windows open, you can create a pleasant airflow. The spacious bedroom downstairs was comfortable and includes a cooling system that keeps things cool at night. The mattress could use an update—it’s quite soft and you can feel the springs a bit—but we still slept well. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the utensils you might need if you plan to cook. I would definitely recommend Chloe’s place if you’re looking to enjoy island life away from the main tourist areas, while still being close to attractions and having direct access to the water!

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

We miss this house already!! The pictures do not completely compliment how gorgeous this place looks from the inside and outside! The house is spacious and very clean. The view and surroundings are just breathtaking! The morning sunrise is so beautiful and peaceful. The staff is friendly and super helpful, overall excellent services! Restaurants, stores are just a 10-15 minute drive away from the house. Food delivery options are great, however you can also cook your own meals in the spacious kitchen. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy Barbados in all peace and quite and explore the island by car. The sea in front of the house is wild and great for surfers, the quieter blue beaches where you can relax, swim, snorkel are just 10-20 min away. We have enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

The air conditioning worked great! The house was very clean and the house amenities were on point. The Bay Garden is a 10 minute walk away. Just make sure coming back to the house you get on ZR van #11.

Turtle Reef has been my lengthy stay in Barbados for many years. We refer to it as our home from home. The decor is totally my taste and is totally conducive to why it suits myself and my special needs daughter. John and Shirley are the perfect hosts.

This is a huge house, comprehensively equipped with a beautiful and well kept garden. The rooftop terrace is a bonus, looking down on the ocean and catching the breeze. All the staff we connected with, in the office ahead of our visit and at the house, were super friendly and helpful Unless you only plan to chill out on the beach or in the garden you’ll want to have a car. There are very few restaurants or other attractions in convenient walking distance. But in 10 to 20 minutes drive you’ll find lots

Ann is an exceptional host. Ann demonstrated great flexibility and responsiveness from our initial pre booking enquiries all the way through to our checking out after 13 wonderful days in Ann’s beautiful home. Upon arrival Ann took great care to explain everything we needed to know about the property, how things worked, the refuge regime, local information etc etc. As a host Ann’s overriding concern was for our enjoyment throughout our stay. Ann is in no way condescending as one previous reviewer suggested, Ann is simply a thorough, thoughtful and warm host. The property itself is truly fully equipped, very spacious, spotlessly clean and if anything is even better than the photographs suggest. The views are wonderful, the locality extremely convenient being within easy walking distance of a good sized supermarket, lovely sandy beach and very good restaurants. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Villa Sophara.

Wow, just wow! Amazing views. Picture postcard views everywhere in this stunning villa. Tina and Philip were the perfect hosts met us on arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our stay. They helped arrange our groceries and also our car hire. They even dropped off bottles of drinking water when the water in the whole area went off! The Villa is simply stunning and our whole family had an amazing time here with a lovely small cove beach perfect for snorkelling. Just on the Boardwalk - so lovely to walk down along the shore to the restaurants. The Villa was so well equipped with everything you should need for your stay. The only small negatives for our family were the noisy road early mornings (we knew about and can’t avoid beach front) and lack of a smart tv for Netflix/Amazon TV etc. Would highly recommend and we had an amazing time here in Barbados!

Marisa’s villa is very big and spacious with a lovely private pool which was great. Marisa was really quick to respond to queries before our stay and Jason our local host was on hand whenever we needed anything. Really can’t fault the support from hosts. In particular the flexibility with check out time was great as we didn’t have to worry about where we’d need to wait until our flight, The villa itself it very spacious, airy and well equipped. The area is very nice and quiet, no issues at all. The aircon in bedrooms allowed for rooms to be nice and cool overnight and there were ample fans throughout the house. The only thing I’d mention is the worms which were present throughout house but this wasn’t the fault of host as it’s the season. It just meant we had to try clearing them everyday in the evening which was annoying but as I mentioned it’s not the host fault. All in all a great stay, we also loved watching the planes land from the front of house!

I have to say, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had. I booked with Hazel and Timothy at The Golden Palm for my honeymoon stay and I could not be happier with how my stay went. First, Hazel was so accommodating with my husband and I; Our flight landed early and she allowed us to check in a bit before our check in time. She greeted us so warmly and gave us a tour. She had put together the cutest honeymoon basket filled with goodies for my husband and I to use throughout our stay (sunscreen, face masks, wine and so much more!). The space itself was stunning! Exactly as pictured and the outside area was everything we hoped it would be. Lastly when we checked out Timothy was kind enough to drive us to the airport and he gifted us two absolutely darling mugs that say “The Golden Palm” so we will always have a little piece of our honeymoon with us back in the States! 10/10 host! 10/10 stay! 10/10 experience! You won’t regret booking!

Natasza was warm and welcoming! Her place was perfect for our family of four with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Each was modern with lovely linens, comfortable beds, ample closet space. The porch was peaceful and relaxing! She went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay with incredible amenities. It was walking distance from Chattel Village with Cafe Bar Carisma, The Beach House and several restaurants from upscale - Tides & Nishi - to more moderate priced ones such as Just Grillin & Zaccios. TML One Love Bar is also walking distance! It was a stone’s throw from Limegrove for top-tier shopping at Level Up Gym. I also enjoyed walks along Cemetery Road and yoga at Sunshine Kula Yoga Studio. We hope to return again soon!

The villa was perfect. So spaceous with large, bright, open plan living room, kitchen and dining area with Caribbean style vaulted ceilings. The kitchen was well equipped. Large covered veranda overlooking the pool was great for outdoor lounging and dining and loved the bbq. The pool and sundeck are completely private and felt so peaceful. The bedrooms are large, very comfortable and air conditioned and the bathrooms are clean and modern. Also loved the media room with a huge tv, xbox and giant sofa. The kids loved it! The villa is within walking distance of Paynes beach, local bars and restaurants. Holetown is a few minutes drive away and perfectly located for visiting Bridgetown and the beaches of the West Coast. Support from the property manager was excellent and the price of renting the villa was really reasonable. I will definitely stay there again!

Can't say enough good things about this place! The house had everything we needed for our family of five adults to enjoy our first trip to Barbados. From the moment we checked in until the time we left, Kiana was there for us if we needed anything. The house itself is in great condition with nice bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and outdoor spaces. We cooked multiple meals in the well appointed kitchen, utilized the outdoor grill, and spent a couple of evenings enjoying good food, drinks, and music out on the veranda. The outdoor lounging areas and pool turned a very nice rental house into a fantastic getaway for our family. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and conveniently located near a grocery store, the fish market, and some great restaurants. We even enjoyed hearing our rooster friend next door giving us a crow every now and then and the neighbor's cat who would come by to casually greet us when we would return home. Can't wait to stay here again!

A huge thank you to Andrea and Alec for a fabulous stay at Little Bimshire. As described, the villa is in a great location, close to all amenities and well equipped. The pool is heated, clean and was enjoyed by our family. The bedrooms stayed cool, very comfortable and larger than expected. Some of us struggled with the heat in the lounge/kitchen as it was very hot during our stay. It did take me around 15 minutes to walk to the beach, but it would be considerably less for a younger person! During the time our hosts were away, Darwin was on hand to answer any questions and he was very helpful and friendly. It was lovely to meet our hosts who were super friendly. Our Granddaughter loved the birds, (thank you Andrea). It was very much our own private villa and we absolutely loved it. Holetown area and Beach are beautiful and I would thoroughly recommend this lovely villa.

Tim and Sandy’s home was beyond beautiful! The kitchen is huge it’s fully stocked, super clean and the pool outside is gorgeous! Heather was wonderful and always available for any information you might need. The property is close to all beaches and restaurants. The grocery store is within walking distance. There’s a medical centre and pharmacy right on the corner. I definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting Barbados. We will for sure stay there again! Thank-you to Tim and Sandy for everything!!

We had a truly wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home thanks to Keysha’s warm hospitality. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable—her cooking was absolutely amazing and made each day feel like a treat. The home was clean, well-kept, and had everything we needed. One of the highlights was the easy access to the beach. It was just a short walk away, and we loved starting our mornings with coffee by the sea. The location is perfect—peaceful, relaxing, and close to everything we needed. Thank you for an unforgettable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I was in Barbados for a brief weekend and this was the perfect location nestled away from the business of Bridgetown. A great place for a reprieve from city life and near many great food and tourist spots. Til next time!

What a wonderful vacation house in Cattlewash. So lovely to fall asleep to the waves. You can see the ocean from both bedrooms and the nice front pouch. The pool is so nice to have and is about 5 ft deep. Very convenient to have laundry as well. Round rock and beach access is just across the road, maybe a 3 minute walk. One night the ice cream truck drove straight up the driveway to serve us! The only thing I would say to be aware of is that there are millipedes in the general area and they do wander into the house so bring some bug spray. Absolutely would stay again. Thank you!

We had a very lovely stay at Beach Walk house located in a quiet neighborhood only a minute walk to a beautiful and clean beach with bar, sunbeds and family-friendly vibe. The house was very well equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. Other nice beaches, restaurants, shops even a market are all within a 10minute drive from the house. Daniel and Katie were great hosts, flexible with both our check-in and check-out, willing to help anytime we needed. We would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

I stayed here with my husband and 3 children and we had a great time. The house is lovely, lots of space, clean, modern and everything you need. The location is good, there are beautiful beaches and restaurants within walking distance. I definitely recommend a visit.
