Apartment holiday rentals in Basye

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

This place is a great gateway to the mountains. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable, and I’ll definitely be staying there again.

Lovely basement apartment with lots of windows! We spent a week here & appreciated the well stocked kitchen that included coffee, tea, & snacks. We were able to use the pool as well which is very nice. Marci responded quickly to any questions. We enjoyed our stay!

Jennifer's place is a great stay! We were there for just one night and it was perfect for access to downtown Harrisonburg to meet up with family. very quiet and peaceful setting in the countryside. We did not hear the hosts the live in the space above the apartment. additional information/instructions were around the apartment that were very helpful. we would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Great place with good proximity to Shenandoah! Really nice kitchen with lots of amenities as well as plenty of counter space and seating. We enjoyed the fire pit too. The host was very responsive and communicative!

Really good one night’s stay at Luray. Thank you for sharing the house with us. But here’s some things could improve: 1. The air con on second floor are not enough, a bit hot at night, have to leave the fan on all night long; 2. We only have 3 bath towels in the closet, a bit short for large groups of people to stay; 3. Don’t have a dishwasher in the house, it will be better to have one even though we could wash plates by hand and let it dry on the shelf; Overall, Lindsey is a really good host, and thanks again for sharing this house with us. We will back in the future!

We loved staying with Slavic. The house was perfect for what we needed. He came down to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again!

Accommodations are definitely worth the cost. Apt is clean with many amenities. Great location for getting around Culpeper Co. Restaurants and supplies are close by. You’ll find this space much more like home than staying in a motel. Host is very responsive and helped with practical needs.

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue F.R.O.G. The unit is clean and immediately felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed the private setting and beautiful views. Thank you! Hope to stay again.

Okay, here's that review: "Wow, what a place! We just got back from a weekend getaway in Culpeper, Virginia, and I have to say, the room was just outstanding. The terrace was amazing, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink. The room itself? Furnished to perfection! They really thought of everything, all the amenities you could ask for. And the towels? Plush, like you wouldn't believe. We will definitely be back. I also want to give a shout-out to our host, Joy. She was so responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. what a lovely place to stay. Cheaper than the local hotel and much nicer. Carolyn is a great host! The apartment is equipped very nicely, very comfortable furnishings. We will stay here again for sure.

we had a wonderful long weekend golf getaway! This place is in a super cool location! Lots of golf within a 20-30 min radius. Tons of neat little shops and stuff to see within walking distance. The town is very clean and the people were super friendly. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area! We will be back!!!

I had a great stay at Yvette’s place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Check-in was smooth, and communication was quick and helpful throughout. The location was peaceful and quiet, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Would definitely stay here again!

We are repeat guests at Paula’s and it’s always a great time. Visiting our JMU Duke and staying at the Southern Charm Retreat is always fun, convenient to the campus and relaxing. House is roomy and super clean. The game room is a fun bonus and the back yard deck is beautiful, well maintained and great for entertaining. Thanks as always Paula !

We arrived late after an evening graduation. Easy self check in. Welcome package was a nice touch. The place was equipped with what was needed for a enjoyable stay. We had a car issue and owner messege me with solutions. Fortunately our family picked us up and we were able to continue celebrating. Was able to charge battery with her charger and extension cord. Maya assistance kept the graduation celebrations the focus. Much appreciated !

Great stay along the river! Even though there are other cabins around, still felt very private. Hot tub was excellent! Very thorough instructions and communication

The space was very nice! My friends and I were in town for a wedding and found the location to be convenient and clean. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking in the Middleburg/Delaplane area.

If I could give Jennifer’s place more than 5 stars I would! The property was at the end of a seasonal road so it was very quiet. Jennifer was nice enough to leave us some eggs from her chickens that were delicious. Great place to stay if you’re trying to get away from the city for some peace and quiet

Perfect for a quick getaway for my friends and I! The best part was being super close to the ski slopes/snow tubing and the late check out. We originally planned on just one day of skiing and snowboarding, but got to get in a couple extra hours with the late check out and close proximity. Thanks Carissa!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed staying here. The double headed shower was very nice to use. The bed was also really comfortable so we got good sleep. It was just like the pictures. I had a great time staying here!

The place was great. Clean, just as described, and spacious. The driveway may be challenging for some in the winter, but we visited in the spring, so was not an issue. Had what we needed and we had a great stay.
