Cottage holiday rentals in Bass Coast Shire

We had a gorgeous few days at Florence's beach house over the school holidays. It was the perfect base for a friend and I to explore with the kids in tow. Somers is such a hidden gem and Florence's place is well positioned walking distance to the beach and the delightful Sommers General store - great coffee and all the gourmet provisions you need for your stay. Also very easy location to explore other Peninsula highlights such as the Hot Springs and Enchanted Adventure at Arthurs seat! The beach house was gorgeous t come home to- really nicely styled and big bush block and outdoor fire pit were an added bonus. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next trip!

We had a lovely stay! The host was very nice and always responded quickly to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is great—it's within a kid-friendly hotel, and we were able to access the hotel facilities, which was a big plus for our family. Everyone enjoyed the stay, and we'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

A peaceful & relaxing piece of heaven. The farm is well looked after as are the animals. We were lucky enough to be greeted by the Peacock with his feathers on display. The cottages were quaint yet simple and stocked with all the essentials & more. Heating worked like a charm too.

Beautiful cottage! Very cosy with the fire and all other amenities. Had a fantastic stay. The cottage is very close to the penguins and close to the town centre.

Fantastic stay!! Very relaxing place to be. The spa, sauna and outdoor area is awesome. Catherine was very responsive to all of our needs and would have no hesitation in recommending her cottage to anyone. Planning on rebooking again very soon.

Lovely place, very friendly and welcoming hosts. Kids loved the play ground, feeding the animals and catching the Guinea pigs. Would definitely recommend.

Our hosts had thought of everything from the supply of dog bowls, pristine dog beds and everything else you'd need for your beloved dog. Our dog Ivy was right at home from the moment she arrived. Our family had a wonderful Easter; the room layout suited us with our two adult children and their partners. The outdoor eating space allowed us to socialise in what is effectively the second living space, and the outdoor spa was a real treat after a long day of beach walks and relaxing. All beds were incredibly comfortable, plentiful hot water for showers and an easy walking distance to the beach and Somers General Store.

We loved the farm. Our son had the holiday of his life. Feeding the animals was amazing, a baby calf was born the night we arrived. He absolutely adored feeding the animals. We paid peak holiday prices- which was a lot for a rustic farm stay. But if you pay the normal rate I’m sure it’s great value for money. Everyone was very friendly and they were very accommodating with our Labrador. Our son is already begging to go back. It would be an amazing holiday stay to go with a big group and stay in the different cabins.

Thank you so much for the most wonderful Easter holiday for my family. Sarah's house is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for families- it has such a wonderful cottage vibe. The location is perfect- walking distance to boat ramp and playground and in such a peaceful area. Also a great garden for finding Easter eggs!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very cold the weekend we were there but the heater worked great and oil heaters were supplied for the bedrooms and they worked great, provided so much warmth! Perfect location, so close to the main strip. The house was nice and clean.

What a great lil gem in a peaceful space! Super clean (I am a professional cleaner and was impressed!), within walking distance to a dog friendly beach, 8 minute drive to the main shops in Cowes! Thanks for making our holiday stress free, comfortable and enjoyable!

Great location, if you're looking for swimming, surfing or having down time. Walking distance from the beach, nice and convenient. Beds are comfortable and cosy. The kitchen has everything you need with a big fridge. The place is perfect to bring your children, plenty of board games and a big backyard, and a garage with a ping pong and pool table. Highly recommend this place for your holiday.

This accomodation exceeded our expectations. The photos did not do it justice, what a beautiful home to stay in with relaxing, comforting vibes and everything you could need. From the carefully chosen aesthetics to the functionality, we loved everything about this cottage. It felt clean, cosy and welcoming. Bonus was how happy our children and dogs were and how considerate the owners were of their needs with games, books, dog bowls etc. we felt safe to leave dogs when we ventured out. Close drive to everything but away from noise/traffic. Right down the road from Amaze n Things. Very accomodating owners. Privacy from neighbours with high fencing. We would love to come back soon and stay here to continue exploring the island. Thank you Nicole and Mark 💕

The perfect Phillip Island beach house. Plenty of space, very short walk to the beach, great outdoor area for the kids. Lots of games, puzzles, etc for indoor time. Really well equipped kitchen. Clean and just had everything we needed! Brian was an excellent host, great info, very responsive. Couldn’t have asked for more. A great experience. Plus we love this part of the Island, so we’ll be back when we can.

lovely cottage - a real home from home … excellent beds and bedding ( choice of pillows!!) Very quiet and close to beach. nice relaxing decor and wood fire, huge supply of books and games just in case.. highly recommended

A wonderful stay in a cute romantic cottage, felt nice and private while also close to the centre of Cowes, and walking distance to plenty of shops. Would 100% stay again!

absolutely amazing place, quiet and beautiful serenity. close enough to shops and beaches, but far enough away! absolutely amazing people, even amazing puppies! was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. owner was an absolute legend I highly recommend this place and I would stay here again!

Actually better than expected. We really enjoyed our stay here, 3 kids and 2 dogs. One fence is quite low, so although it’s “enclosed”, it could easily be jumped by a larger dog. Neighbours very friendly and a really peaceful location. Had everything we needed inside.

Super cute Beachshack walking distance to town and beach!

Easy location to centre of town and beach. Accomodation has the requirements for a family of 3. We didn’t use the guest house or bathroom (which are two seperate rooms that is not connected). The bathroom is beautiful and newly renovated. Our car was able to fit into the garage where the washing machine is located. We couldn’t find the dishwasher but this wasn’t an issue as we had most meals out. Check in and out through the real estate agent was easy, they are located centrally in town.

this is a great little beach shack really comfy inside got everything you need outside big decks walk to the beach great view across Westernport Bay quiet spacious neighbourhood . no problems here and doug's only a phone call away. all good I'm going back. Simon

Our family had a fantastic stay at Lucinda's. The setting is quiet and the house has a lovely vibe with lots of natural light. We were able to walk to the beach easily from home. The outdoor couch is really comfy too!
