Right off I-68 and close to all the necessities but tucked away on a small and quiet street. Enjoy the flat backyard with a fire pit and seating for 6. Fully stocked kitchen, smart tv, and a quiet neighborhood that’s close to all the conveniences. Enjoy the local history, visit state parks, and the many breweries in the area. No smoking of any kind, no guests, and no parties please.

Built originally in the late 1800's and renovated by us in 1991, Yoder School became our home. In later years we converted part of the building into this peaceful getaway. Opportunities for outdoor activities abound. Fantastic road cycling with Strava routes start right here! Just a short drive away great mountain biking, hiking, cross country and downhill skiing, and white water rafting are yours to enjoy. Several unique and popular restaurants, and tennis and basketball courts are nearby.

Rustic Luxe Cabin (4x4 Required)

Situated on 10 acres and surrounded by a 600-acre nature conservancy, Rustic Lux is a new construction that fuses the charming details of a rustic cabin with high-end modern luxury. Guests can enjoy complete privacy with quick access to all the wonders of Deep Creek Lake! Rustic Lux is only 4 miles from the lake and Wisp Ski Resort. The road back to the cabin is a little rough but is pretty flat and in no way dangerous. We recommend 4 wheel drive vehicles.

The Hearth Stone Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We are located at New Germany State Park. It is a nice walk or a short drive to the park for hiking, biking, cross country skiing and or swimming. We are also a 25 minute drive to the Wisp ski resort. We are centrally located. Also close to Savage River Reservoir for kayaking, canoeing or fishing. Our goal is for the family to enjoy time away!
