Cabin holiday rentals in Barnard Castle

We had a great weekend in Jennie’s cabin. It is located in such a beautiful setting, very peaceful and scenic. The cabin offers a large entertaining space with plenty of amenities. The beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was a fantastic indulgence to chill in on a cold evening. We will definitely be returning next year.

Absolutely amazing place to stay for a little break/get away!! So peaceful, amazing view and scenery. Host is very friendly and communicated if needed. Immaculate lodge very clean and cosy! Would absolutely recommend, will definitely be staying here again :)))

Such an amazing stay, I couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough! The location is perfect for disconnecting and relaxing, the pod is beautiful with great amenities. We loved the outdoor facilities and making the most of the countryside. Made a very special birthday trip. Would definitely love to come back again - thank you!

Angus & Leigh are delightful, such a lovely warm welcome, so very kind and helpful. The cabin is beautiful, immaculately clean, the special touches, cleverly designed, the hot tub and everything you need. A peaceful, calming location, the pond, geese, ducks, the donkeys and horse, it’s charming. A generous gesture of a bottle of chilled Prosecco was most thoughtful. We had a wonderful dinner at the local Italian restaurant, within walking distance. Also the local farm shop is excellent. A restful two night stay, just perfect. Thank you both.

This Airbnb is beautiful! Such a relaxing spot and I would say even better than the pictures. I felt very safe. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we could need. Thank you so much!

Thank you for such a lovely stay. The whole family are so welcoming & made us feel at ease from the outset. Angela could not have provided more from the thoughtful welcome pack right through to dressing gowns & slippers. The hot tub was amazing & loved by my daughter, she also wanted me to say how much she loved the bed (very comfortable). The lodge & bedroom with bathroom were fully equipped & spotless. It was a pleasure to meet the whole family including the dogs who were so friendly with an added bonus for my daughter who got to play with Angela’s granddaughter. There was nothing more we could have wanted during our stay from the accommodation through to the surroundings. Thank you again we will be back x

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful lodge. The view from the living room was absolutely stunning, we couldn’t get enough of it. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. It felt peaceful and private, just what we needed. Thank you for such a relaxing break. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I can not fault this pod at all, had an amazing few days exploring the area. The pod was a great place to escape the heat have just had and as a solo traveller felt very, very safe. Close proximity to beautiful areas of the North York Moors and Henri the dog absolutely loved it. The outside area is very secure and spent our days enjoying the sun. Thank you Carole and Graham, would not hesitate in staying again.

Lovely and comfortable stay! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for a cute girls trip in Lake District. The cabin comes equipped with Netflix and it’s so close to Windermere centre.

We absolutley loved it! the caravan felt so peaceful and quiet and it also had everything needed to feel right at home straight away :) our dog also enjoyed the beach walks every day a short distance away. We are already planning our next trip to hopefully be able to come back in the future. Thank you for being so friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a place for rejuvenation and away from hustle and bustle of life, then book this place without a second thought.. this property completely exceeded our expectations from start to finish..!! Where do I even start.. place is spacious, surrounded by beautiful views.. hosts are very friendly.. we had come to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and they had set up a nice decoration for her.. so thoughtful of them.. we absolutely loved every minute of the stay there.. wish could stay longer.. little one had the best birthday experience watching so many animals around.. really looking forward to come back.. just s little advice would be to carry groceries and other stuff if possible as the nearest superstore is nearly 4 miles away and that too isn’t very well stocked.. you do get basic stuff though.. this was the only issue we faced..

Vicky is a wonderful host, was always responsive to messages and didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile for me when I had special requests for our stay. The location is amazing with a railway station right at the back of the lodge. Inside the lodge itself was beautiful and very clean and the highlight for me and my fiancée was the hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay there and had the absolute best time and cannot wait to return there in the future.

Excellent stay and excellent hosts! We came for a getaway after our wedding and this place did not fail. Very peaceful, beautiful area, lovely hikes and a lot of nature to take in. The room was immaculate, comfortable and well sized. Was very accommodating for our dog also. Helen and Alan were brilliant hosts and very responsive. They even made ourselves a wedding gift. 10/10 would go again.

Had a lovely weekend in this beautiful lodge, weather was good and loved how the doors opened right up, perfect for outside living, a few drinks at night and breakfast on the decking in the morning. Loved the extra touches flowers, doggy basket with towels, treats etc.. was very home to home. Will definately like to return in the future.. thank you 😊

The cabin itself is lovely, just enough space for 2 people. short walk to the lake if you want to do a bit of bird spotting. very close to the M6 so are able to put into the Dale's or Lake District. cabin was clean and tidy, fresh towels left in the bedroom. plenty of equipment in the kitchen. we stayed for 2 nights just to finish our holiday off and we felt safe and welcome. Nicky’s cabin was a gem and the perfect way to spend a relaxed weekend. The place was peacefully secluded. Tucked away surrounded by trees. Super cosy interior and serene surroundings. Nicky was a warm, responsive host who made everything easy. We left feeling recharged and already thinking of a future visit.

We had a great stay, everything was clean and very comfortable, Ben was really helpful, would stay again!

Wonderful stay at deer cabin, very peaceful with the sound of birds and private. Lovely cosy cabin and very clean. Nice added touch with robes and snacks. Hosts were super friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend staying here, just what we needed! Lots of things do in surrounding areas too and locals all very friendly

The lodge was 10/10 and listed accurately. As soon as we arrived it felt like home, very cosy and relaxing. The place was clean and the hot tub was a nice addition! (Although it gets very hot so you have to watch the temp!) The animals were friendly and I love that you can meet them. The Pygmy goats, Annie and Steven were very friendly neighbours :)

We had a lovely stay in John's caravan. Very homely feel. very clean and tidy. The best views of the sea - we found a lot of seaglass on the beach! Loved the biscuits, tea, bread, milk and butter left for us - lovely little touch. The only downside for us was the main bedroom mattress was very firm which gave us both backache and hip aches as we are not used to it, just something to be mindful of when booking. Highly recommend coming here on holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Brenda’s pod! The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and full of peaceful farm vibes, which made for a really relaxing getaway with the family. We especially enjoyed the BBQ area and spent a lovely evening cooking and chatting outdoors. The pod itself was cozy and well-equipped, and Brenda was a fantastic host,very responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, nature-filled setting!

We had an incredible stay at the Roost. The perfect relaxing getaway. Most of the time, the only sounds we could hear were sheep, chickens and the sound of a trickling stream. The house itself was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Shirley couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable, and I hope we get the opportunity to visit again I'm the future.

This was our 2nd time staying at this Lodge and it has been great both times. A lovely spacious accommodation and the hot tub is fantastic.
