Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Banne

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

What a beautiful home and location. The house is in a cluster of stone homes in this spectacular hill town. Cobblestone paths, beautiful gardens and ancient architecture and history. Pierre was helpful in carting our suitcases through what looks like a Harry Potter village up to our very modern, comfortable house. A unique Provence experience.

We had an exceptional and rejuvenating stay! The cottage is very well equipped and so pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace, where the view is breathtaking. We were greeted with great kindness and very good advice for visiting the region. Agnes and her husband are very friendly and flexible. Labeaume is a wonderful little gem, and although tiny it has several restaurants, bars, artisan shops and a great little provisions store featuring local produce. Silvie's family chateau has the most incredible location and views overlooking the village and the river. The pool and outdoor areas were stunning, with plenty of options for full sun, shade or in between depending on the weather, including covered areas for dining or relaxing. Inside is every convenience and the most charming rooms. The listing and photographs cannot possibly do justice to how wonderful this place is. The kitchen is very well equipped and the outdoor plancha was a fabulous and social way to cook in the evenings we didn't walk down to the village for typically wonderful French dining. Our favourite was Sablas pizzeria, which serves the most delicious cracker style pizzas and the burgers - oh wow. Probably our favourite trip ever, and that's saying something. We had a wonderful family stay in this very nice house with a breathtaking view. Exteriors are also very well maintained A very good welcome, nice little touches in the kitchen that were waiting for us, a very accommodating host for the checkout time. Thanks for all of this . I would recommend it

Amazing views of the valley, on the border of the Cevennes and the Monts d 'Ardèche. A refreshing stay in peace. The house is part of a beautiful hamlet, restored and maintained by Fabienne and Philippe, the owners, who are charming and with whom we regret not having spent more time! Next time we hope!

Staying in this ancient building with renovated suites was a quintessential Avignon experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and the location just off Place de l'Horloge. Vanessa provided clear instructions for check-in and we had no other needs to contact her about during our stay, but I am confident she would have been available and responsive. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean & beautiful, and the open living space was perfect for our 3-night stay. We were so happy to be there on a Saturday so that we could enjoy the street market with local artisans and vendors! :) Would stay here again if ever in Avignon. Loved staying in the old city and finding small cafés on narrow Rues to enjoy Spritzes or a meal or even a morning croissant.

We had a relaxing stay, apartment was amazing, the bed was so comfy - we Slept so well - gardens and swimming pool were beautiful and loved the hammocks in the garden - it was so peaceful - the hosts were very friendly and we loved the platter on arrival and the breakfast basket was delicious - we can highly recommend this apartment and we hope to return one day 😊

Jeremy was very helpful, super responsive and his place is very clean and spacious. We loved having an air conditioned place and it was walkable to the town center and train station. Only downside is the stairs but I had a pretty heavy checked bag and still managed it just fine. Would definitely come back to stay at this place again anytime I’m in Avignon.

Fabienne’s apartment was delightful with beautiful furniture and a great kitchen and amenities. Everything was of a very high quality, terrific shower and lovely area to relax. The building was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a very nice vacation. The apartment has flair and is really fully equipped. The location in the vineyards is very quiet. The many animals put you on a farm and in the garden you can relax wonderfully. Albert and Christine are always available and helpful but also discreet. All in all, one of the best apartments we have ever had and highly recommended.

Lovely apartment in the centre of Les Vans! We thought it was very tastefully decorated and well sound insulated (gets noisy in the evenings and on market day). Perfect location right next to everything. Appreciated that it felt truly like a home, with proper dishes and kitchen, with everything we needed.

We chose this apartment because of the great reviews and ours will be no different. It's worth looking back as there are lots of useful tips such as how to park close by. The apartment is exactly as described. Clean, tidy and very well appointed. Useful items such as water, butter, tea, coffee etc. all provided. This is an ideal apartment for couples traveling together. 2 double bedrooms both with en suites. The location is perfect, right opposite the Palais des Papes and perfect for a wide selection of restaurants and bars. The square outside is very lively, but noise was not a problem and if you shut the double glazed windows you hear virtually nothing. Harold and Celia are the perfect hosts, helpful, responsive and always there if you need them. Like most of the reviews there are no negatives from our perspective. If you are visiting Avignon this apartment is highly recommended.

Nathalie’s place is a gem in Provence. Walking distance to Avignon old town and within reach of all things needed from restaurants to places of interest. We had an infant and the apartment suited him in terms of crawl space and crib area. The parking in the building was super convenient to have a car and explore Provence. Nathalie was super flexible with a late night check-in and even helped me retrieve socks after I had checked out. Overall definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Provence/Marseille area.

We spent 1 night in Gilles' apartment, everything was perfect. The exterior is really appreciable, Gilles lent us his barbecue and terrace for the evening. We were able to enjoy our weekend as we wanted, thank you again for this welcome, we will surely come back! Mattéo

Beautiful apartment with charm near everything to visit

A wonderful and memorable stay! The studio is always charming and nice, very well equipped and comfortable. The spring light bathes the space of a beautiful sweetness, we like to stay and rest, after a hike or just to unwind. Véronique and Pascal are perfectly friendly hosts and very attentive. It's a real pleasure to stay with them. The gorges of the Ardèche are close by, like many hikes, caves and villages of character. Nia is a gem. We recommend it, and we'll be back 😉✨

We stayed at Michelle’s apartment for 2 weeks. It was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at (among probably 20 + places we have rented over the last 40 years). Everything about the experience with Michelle was top notch. She’s so friendly, thoughtful, caring and professional. We needed to contact her a few times during the stay, and she handled every question perfectly and with grace. The apartment’s amenities ticked off all the boxes. We chose it for the proximity to downtown, and were happy to be able to walk easily to all the stores, restaurants, pharmacy, Place aux Herbes, etc. That means a lot, since my husband cannot walk long distances. In addition, we arrived in town at the start of a very nasty cold/flu illness we’d picked up on a cruise a few days before. The apartment was perfectly suited to help us rest and recover.
