"The Barn" Copper Beech Farm

Copper Beech farm is a family run dairy farm set in a peaceful rural setting, close to the bustling town of Kinsale. "The Barn" and "The Loft" are 19th Century stone barns which have been beautifully restored and converted into self contained holiday cottages. Many of the original features have been retained i.e Exposed stone walls, Timber panelled ceilings and Wooden floors. All modern conveniences have been fitted to ensure our guests have all the comforts of home. Children are especially welcome and will enjoy the fresh air, freedom and space that a farming environment has to offer, and a safe children's playground will keep them busy for hours. Outdoors there are large mature gardens with lawns, shrubs and trees. There is ample parking for cars. Your hosts, Michael & Eileen Sheehan are always on hand to assist you in any way possible, so if it's a short stay in the countryside visiting the old world town of Kinsale or a longer holiday exploring wonderful West Cork, you will find our location and facilities ideal for a truly enjoyable holiday.

This is a unique stay in a beautiful private surrounding overlooking a horse arena.The arena cabin has a double bed downstairs and 2 small single beds in the loft. It is more suited for 2 adults and 2 children or max 3 adults. The kitchen area has cooking facilities,microwave,fridge,Kettle ,toaster ,cooking pans and utensils. Fully fitted bathroom with shower ,toilet,sink . Dining area has 4 bar stools . The decking area through sliding doors at back is a private sun trap with bbq facilities.

Cozy Cabin in our garden

We have a cozy guest cabin in our garden. It is situated behind our cottage We live roughly 4 miles outside Kinsale in a charming rural area. All narrow roads. It is very relaxing, a perfect place to chill, while being 10 minutes drive from the tourist town. We always hope that the weather is kind. In some cases, people like to light the stove. We usually leave 2x Firelogs , and if there is a requirement for more , they can be purchased in LIDL Note: There is no public transport from Kinsale

Start your journey here on the Wild Atlantic Way between Ballinhassig & Half Way, Crossbarry and Waterfall, 10 minutes from, Cork city, Cork Airport, 15 minutes to Bandon and Kinsale. Very clean and comfortable bedroom, really easy check in and fantastic location with easy parking on the green. Exactly as described, and if I was coming to Cork with as a group I would definitely look at renting both bedrooms. The soundproofing is as expected in a cabin, so my only concern was that I woke the other resident when I left before 6am for work! Would be happy to recommend as a great base to explore Cork.

We LOVED saying at Paula’s house! It’s beautiful, clean and very homie! The place was easy to find. We arrived to the place around 10 PM and had no problem to locate it in the dark of the night. After a long drive, we arrived to a lovely handwritten welcome note, easy to follow directions about the space, tea, coffee, biscuits, and fresh fruit in addition to a comfortable bed with beautiful view to a night sky full of stars. The place is conveniently located between Kinsale and Cork. We got so many great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, it was great to chat with Paula too! Got a lot of blackberries on the road to the house. Overall great stay!!!

Geraldine's felt like staying with an old friend. Arrival was flexible. Personal items in the home showed character and a warm welcome. I didn’t use the kitchen but could see from the hall it was pristine. Quite, residential area. I had room 3-the box room. Small but had everything I needed. A warm comfortable room with a cosy bed. Even extra bedding in the wardrobe. Exceptional value for such a cosy welcoming home. Highly recommend
