Holiday rentals with lake access in Ballstad

L’endroit est simplement magnifique. Par contre, à noter que nous sommes en face de la route principale (donc, les arrivés et les départs du traversier sont bien marqué avec le passage des autos). Cela ne nous a pas déranger… C’est une vieille maison avec son charme. Avec les escaliers abruptes avec des marches étroites. Mais vous avez tout le nécessaire. Les lits sont confortables et la douche a un bon débit d’eau. Vous avez des épiceries à RAMBERG et à REINE. Nous avons trouvé que celle de RAMBERG avait plus de diversité que l’autre à REINE (le chemin est également moins sinueux vers RAMBERG). Il faut se déplacer en auto pour aller voir les sites, mais tout est simplement majestueux. Les bords de route sont très étroits. Les stationnements sont payants à côté des endroits touristiques. Vous pouvez avoir accès à des stationnements gratuits mais vous aurez plus de marche à pied à faire. C’est vraiment un endroit idéal car c’est à 25 minutes du traversier. On vous le recommande

This was a win for us. So comfy, close to town, everything you could poss need including many hooks and places to put our things. And Kurt was above and beyond accommodating us when we misplaced the house key. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Rasmus’s cottage has a great location, is clean and tidy with a modern Nordic feel. A perfect place to experience Henningsvær and to use as a base to explore Lofoten! Highly recommend!

My favorite Airbnb EVER. So many of my recent Airbnb’s have been total let down, but not Monica’s place, it was absolutely perfect. Tucked away, peaceful, private, the most beautiful surroundings, it was like out of a dream. Not to mentioned the house was well equipped with everything we needed and Monica was a fantastic, kind, and responsive host. It was the perfect way to spend a few sunny and rainy days in lofoten. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back without a doubt. Thank you for everything!

This house accommodation in Lofoten was absolutely wonderful! We stayed there for three nights and fell in love with the place immediately. The location was stunning: on one side, you had a beautiful view of the sea, and on the other, majestic mountains. Standing in the yard, you could hear the gentle sound of a stream, which made the atmosphere so peaceful and idyllic. The house itself was a charming blend of traditional rustic style and modern comfort. We felt at home right away and even started calling it our ‘home’ for the trip. Evenings were spent cozily on the sofa, enjoying Netflix, and the kitchen was fully equipped, making cooking a joy. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating — even allowing us to extend our stay slightly. It was so comfortable that we would have gladly stayed for the entire vacation if it hadn’t already been booked. Wir hatten zu fünft tolle Tage in Eggum. Die Lage direkt zwischen See und Meer ist traumhaft. Und ruhig... so richtig zum Entspannen. Das Haus ist super eingerichtet, das relativ neue Bad hat alle begeistert. Der große Esstisch mit Blick aufs Meer war unser geliebtes Zentrum im Haus für gemeinsames Essen, Routenplanen und Spieleabende. Einchecken mit Code am Schlüsselkasten sehr flexibel. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 15 Minuten mit dem Auto, Flughafen Leknes plus 5 Minuten weiter. Ausgangspunkt für viele tolle Ziele auf den Lofoten. Nach unseren Wanderungen und der unvergesslichen Walsafari waren wir immer sehr froh, dass wir zum grünen Haus zurückkehren durften. Der Abschied nach 5 Übernachten viel uns sehr schwer... Wir hatten anfangs den Wunsch nach einem größeren Kochtopf. Lars hat großartig reagiert. Nach unserer Wanderung lag ein ganzes nagelneues Topfset vor der Tür. Das war Spitze! Für Unterkunft und Betreuung gibt es für uns definitiv die Höchstpunktzahl. Tusen takk, Lars!

Vi hadde et helt fantastisk opphold i Lofoten! Vi var fire personer og følte oss umiddelbart velkomne. Solrun og Øyvind var utrolig vennlige, hjelpsomme og alltid raske til å svare – det satte vi stor pris på. Huset var koselig, godt utstyrt og hadde alt vi trengte for et behagelig opphold. Beliggenheten var også perfekt – en super base for å utforske den vakre naturen rundt. Vi kunne ikke hatt det bedre, og vi vil varmt anbefale både stedet og host til alle som vurderer å reise hit. Tusen takk – vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Es hat drei verschiedene Unterkünfte am selben Ort, wir wussten zuerst nicht recht vohin. Kurt kam aber schnell und half uns gleich. Die Küche ist spärlich aber funktional ausgerüstet. Alles in allem eine sehr angenehme Unterkunft für ein paar Tage.

Kaikin puolin mahtavaa paikka. Sijainti oli todella hyvää ja todella siisti talo muutenkin. Näkymää parasta.

I had a great time during my stay at this appartement. It had everything I needed and looked like on the pictures. There is so much to do in the area and it was a great base to explore the islands of Lofoten. Verner and Katrine were really nice and answered alsways quite quickly. I would love to come back soon.

Great location, lovely and very homey. Lots of personalized touches and very comfortable. Anne Marie was very responsive and helpful. Kabelvåg is a great place to stay, strongly recommend it!

I've been using Airbnb for over a decade and have stayed at dozens of places. I've never once written a review however, but I'm making a point of it this time because of how exceptional Kristi and Marit were as hosts. My wife and I were traveling with our two daughters and Kristi and Marit took to them immediately, bringing them freshly baked cinnamon buns and cake that was left after Kristi's birthday. I had many questions during our time in Reine and they proactively answered all of them. Kristi even found me at the coffee shop when I'd forgotten my jacket, somehow knowing I would need it and where I'd be. They treated us like old friends coming to stay. My wife and I are both Airbnb enthusiasts. We've stayed at many incredible places over the years, including many more expensive and fancier than this. Neither of us have ever encountered such warmth, generosity, and thoughtfulness. PS. I haven't even mentioned the views here, but they are also probably the best I've ever seen.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very modern but still very cozy. It also has parking and is close to the supermarket. It has a beautiful view. The host was very helpful and responds quick to any questions.

This is a beautiful secluded house that fronts onto spectacular scenery. We stayed 2 nights and we didn’t want for anything. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the deck at the waters edge - quite magical. Olga was charming and very welcoming.

Sehr schönes kleines Haus mit Blick aufs Meer und die umliegenden Berge. Ziemlich eingeschlagene Gegend, aber perfekt um wandern zu gehen und einige ruhige Tage zu verbringen. Es ist sehr hell und bei schönem Wetter scheinen die Sonnenstrahlen wunderbar durch die Fenster. Wanderung auf den Berg Skårvågfiellet ist sehr zu empfehlen (z.B. bei Mitternachtssonne + wunderschöne Aussicht).

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Cottage auf den Lofoten! Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat mir die ruhige Lage und der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge. Ein perfekter Ort für Wanderungen entweder in der unmittelbaren Umgebung oder mit dem Auto auf der Insel. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet und modern. Ich kann diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

Super locatie en precies zoals beschreven. We hebben echt genoten van alle voorzieningen, de omgeving en het wild rondom huis zoals bv diverse vogel soorten. Het huis heeft mooie en leuke oude accenten en accessoires wat wij echt een meer waarde vonden. De hottub was geweldig en super plek. Onze host Cato reageerde altijd super snel en behulpzaam. Echt een aanrader dus, we hopen hier weer eens terug te komen. Groet, Willem

Otroligt vackert och charmigt hus ute på Olenilsøya. Busstopp rakt utanför, god fiskrestaurang (Anitas sjømat) bara över vägen och otroliga utsikter från alla fönster man kollade ut igenom. Funkade bra att dela kök och badrum med de andra gästerna. Vi blev förälskade och skulle gärna komma tillbaka.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich super. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht, plus die kleinen Extras, wie z.B. ein beheizter Whirlpool oder die Kleinigkeiten wie Kaffee und kühle Getränke. Ebenfalls wurde uns ein Motorboot zum Angeln zur Verfügung gestellt. Bei Fragen gab es innerhalb von einer Stunde eine Rückmeldung. Fazit: Wir waren das 2. Mal vor Ort und wieder begeistert. Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Ogólnie jesteśmy zadowolone z pobytu, aczkolwiek domek ma swoje plusy i minusy. Na pewno super lokalizacja (blisko do szlaków pieszych), prywatność domku (domek znajduje się w bardzo spokojnej miejscowości), wygodny parking przy domku. Domek sam w sobie jest bardzo uroczy, zadbany, dość dobrze wyposażony w różne rzeczy. W domku było ciepło, dobrze działał Internet. Z minusów: nie polecamy domku dla wysokich ludzi. Domek ma niskie sufity, przez co zwłaszcza na początku pobytu każda z nas parę razy uderzyła się głową o przejścia w drzwiach (nasz wzrost od 160 do 169 cm).

Rachel is a perfect host and makes you feel welcome in her space immediately. She makes amazing breakfast! And she even let us use her sea kayaks and gear to go explore the peaceful fjord. Apart from the weather, everything was impeccable, though the rain and cold winds made the stay all the more cozy.

Wat een pareltje! Een ontzettend sfeervol huisje waar je een heerlijk verblijf kunt hebben. Alles is aanwezig, en wat opviel was dat het huisje zo gezellig is ingericht. Onze zoon wilde er wel blijven wonen. Mooier compliment kun je niet krijgen. We komen graag een keertje in de zomer terug!
