Holiday rentals with a patio in Back Bay, Boston

We really enjoyed our stay at Christin's Hipster Basecamp! The unit was airy and open and really unique among AirBnB units in the Boston area in its aesthetic. The new Green Line stops near the area (Ball Square and Magoun Square) made getting into Downtown Boston very easy, and Magoun and Ball Squares are fun business districts in their own right. Christin was very responsive and had the best guidebook I have ever seen in an AirBnB unit. Overall we would definitely stay at the Hipster Basecamp again!

We had the best weekend. This Airbnb is a great size for 2 people. Clean, cozy and you have everything you need. Close to the city but you’re right by the ocean. Great restaurants nearby. We stayed to celebrate our engagement and attend a concert at Suffolks downs. We would definitely visit again. Easy to find and easy to get into. Nice and quiet neighborhood.

Loved Cecilia’s place. The place was not over decorated and had a nice, clean feel. Super convenient location by the Maverick Station. It’s only one stop on the subway to the Aquarium station in Boston. It is also situated directly across from a small park which gave the feeling of more privacy in such a densely populated city. I highly recommend Cecilia’s place!!

This apartment was in a very safe and lovely neighborhood. It was bit outside Boston, but the city was easily accessible by car or nearby T station. The apartment was modern, clean and well furnished with a designer's touch, and looked exactly like the photos. We also had access to a beautiful outdoor patio with an adjacent garden that was perfectly manicured. Jonathan was very welcoming when we arrived and super responsive and accommodating to all our needs throughout.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for what we needed for our stay in the Boston area. We really enjoyed the surrounding restaurants and the beach.

This was exceptional. Becky's AirBnB is absolutely STUNNING!!! I think, quite honestly, it was the most beautiful accommodation I've ever stayed in. Becky thought of EVERYTHING, from the delightful snacks and beverages, to the notebook of fabulous restaurant and activity recommendations, plus the elegant and soothing seaside decor! Some of the plusses include a cozy gas fireplace, a great gas range to cook on, and an outdoor grill! We cooked up and grilled up some fabulous feasts during our stay! But the real treasure here is Becky herself. Although she grew up in Salem, she says she inherited her mama's Southern hospitality, and it definitely shows! She is warm and joyful, and my daughters and I feel we have made fast friends with her. We truly look forward to visiting Becky again!

Viktoria was absolutely fantastic! Not only did she allow us to check-in early, but she also allowed us to come about 10 minutes early from the early check-in time because we had a slight emergency. The unit was equipped with many comforts (everyone appreciated the high quality TP), but coffee and sugar allowed us to fully function the next day. The stairs are steep, but nothing we couldn’t handle. The back deck was awesome. The location is good. We didn’t seek out public transportation, so we can’t comment on the closeness or availability. We took uber everywhere and didn’t have an issue. Overall, we would highly recommend Viktoria’s place and would love to come back again!

Great stay at Karl and Randy’s place - great location (a pleasant 10 min walk to Davis Square subway and with good local restaurants a few mins walk away), clean and well equipped apartment and easy check in and out. Would stay again!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The apartment was clean and lots of little touches (products in the bathroom cabinet, extra pillows and blankets, etc). Excellent communication with the host!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the house for one evening while exploring downtown Boston. Spacious house near many attractions. Appreciated the individual AC units in each room. Overall very charming place and would stay again! Thanks Errington!

Perfect set up for our crew; were in Boston from CA to celebrate a graduate. Home was centrally located to all of our festivities and worked out great.

We were very comfortable as a 3 generation family. Thoughtful details and clear instructions were very helpful and appreciated.

Lauren was an excellent host! Cottage is absolutely beautiful! Felt right at home , she was very responsive and very helpful. This place has all the amenities, perfectly located for everything we had planned .

The one thing that stood out the most was how responsive the host was. All my concerns were responded to immediately and problems solved quickly. We stood here with a group of 11, and there were plenty of sleeping spaces. The 3 full bathrooms helped a lot too! Everything was clean and exactly as pictured. One thing to note is this was a 3rd floor unit, which wasn’t an issue for us, but just good info to have. Would definitely stay here again, or at another one of Tra’s places.

Gia is a fantastic host! She is so sweet, and was very accomodating. She was quick to respond, and very informative. Her place was perfect, and cozy. The pictures are exactly how it looks inside. It is very well kept, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. She supplies everything that you will need! It was a super convenient location to get to Downtown Boston and also not a long drive to Gillette Stadium. We loved the place and would stay there again if we return back to Boston!

Joseph’s place was lovely. The home was spotless and hosted a family of four perfectly. The extra effort of a little snack basket upon arrival was a nice touch. We took full advantage! The location is a great jump off point for Boston and surrounding areas. Joseph was very responsive and easy to talk to. We would recommended.

Reda was so wonderful with us!! Extremely communicative and friendly, the apartment is exactly like the pictures and so much better in person. My family & I had a great time in Boston but the apartment was definitely a big highlight. I recommend this place 10/10🩵

Very comfortable unit for our family of four. Has everything we need and great location—close to great options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and (most importantly) ice cream!

This place is AMAZING! An absolute must stay. Close to public transit, restaurants, coffee shops, in the cutest neighborhood. We were in awe of how adorable and perfect and homey the apartment is. Truly one of my most favorite stays. The hosts were communicative and even let us drop our bags off early as we were coming from another air Bnb and didn’t want to lug our suitcases around Boston all day. I had some questions about check in and they responded to me in minutes. Truly wonderful.

This is my second time staying at The Salem Porch House. Alex is an exemplary host. She is warm and friendly and that reflects in the extra touches at the house. Comfortable, clean and convenient, I highly recommend Alex’s place when staying in Salem.
