Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Bacalar

Guillermo and Diana's place is our "go to" place in Chetumal when we want a peaceful accomodation. It's just steps from the bay in a very walkable and safe neighborhood and close to a taxi stand and a Walmart mini mall. The neighborhood is exceptionally friendly and 30 pesos gets you to the heart of Centro and the Muelle Fiscal.

Very nice place, centrally located, it has everything one may need, maybe what would change from place would be the air conditioning since the one that stays on the bed stuck to the air does not get the air

We loved staying with Melissa. The place is super private and the pool made us very pleasant afternoons. The attention was the best.

Adriana's accommodation met all our needs as a small family (two adults and a 7-year-old): clean, quiet, relatively well-equipped kitchen. Even without a vehicle, it was perfect. We could reach the lagoon on foot in about twenty minutes or take a taxi (for 30 pesos, for example, to go to Parque Ecológico). There is a supermarket with a lot of choices right next door or a large grocery store as well as a pharmacy within a 3-minute walk. In short, if you are looking for a quiet accommodation for a small budget with family or friends, this accommodation is perfect!

Peaceful and relaxing place. Each bedroom was a mini-studio: private bathroom, mini-fridge, electric kettle/coffee maker, desk, & patio kitchenette. Friendly & responsive host.

A highly recommended place, comfortable, clean and with good details that make you feel at home... From the dishes, complimentary coffee, stove and fridge of good size and new, it has functional skylights, super comfortable beds, I loved them, spacious rooms, the bathroom impeccable, functional with hot water within reach and at the moment, only feedback that there is a lot of noise from outside, neighbors with scandalous dogs, You can hear a lot of noise inside the house, even in the last room. Also, change the TVs for larger ones, since the rooms are spacious and the distance to them makes them look very small. Other than that, it's a place that's worth every peso. The host is attentive and friendly all the time, easy check-in and although the vehicle stays in the street, it's quiet and safe, no problem with that... My dog thanks you for all the attention in the same way

The place is wonderful. We felt very comfortable. You spend a lot of time in the fresh air. Unfortunately, the photos were a little older and now some roofs have been added, which is why we had little sun. Still highly recommend it. Next door is a small supermarket with good prices and lots of choice.

I was looking for a comfortable and nice place to stay, it exceeded my expectations. I went for work reasons and would certainly choose it many more times, for rest or vacation. The house is very nice and the service is needless to say 🙌🏼

Very nice house, comfortable and with good privacy. It has two independent floors. At first, I thought we would all be together. The rooms are very spacious, at least those with a view of the pool. In the downstairs room in front of the pool, the bathroom smells a lot like a drain when you turn on the faucets to bathe. The smell is kind of annoying, but otherwise it's a delight to stay here. It has parking and we liked that very much since we had 2 cars for rent. It's spacious, very close to the airport, and not far from the tourist places. We highly recommend this place. We really appreciate your attention! If we return, we will definitely stay at this Airbnb

A great place for groups to hang out.

Super nice airbnb with an hammock that made my days… The bath is pretty small but clean and the kitchen it’s more for warming up pre cooked food then for cooking. But all is working well and Astrid is a very nice host! I’ll come back for sure 😊🌞

Leonel and Brenda are wonderful hosts, from day one they were very attentive to us and gave us very helpful directions. They were flexible with check-in time and helped us with a couple of additional requests, all quickly and kindly. Their place is just as described in the listing, if not better! The place was spotless and you can tell that they are committed to taking care of the details to make you feel comfortable and safe during your stay. The area where the place is located may seem a little far from the center at first. But the next day, once you get used to walking around the area, you realize that the location is an advantage because it allows you to get to know Bacalar better and on the way there are very good options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The proximity to the pier is a plus. It is definitely a highly recommended place and we will return to it when we are in Bacalar!
