Beautiful house with family connection. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. Even with little knowledge of Spanish, no problem. Super pancakes, thank you! Bicycle was also rented. There's just not much to do in Calceritas but good seafood restaurants.

R&R has nice comfy rooms with ensuites just a few minutes out of the centre of Chetumal. With a central kitchen, it allows you to eat in if you want. Martin greeted me with a fresh mango and was really helpful on where to go around town and the surrounding areas. Definitely recommended!

Martin is a very helpful, accommodating host who is very committed to the well-being of the guests - the accommodation has everything you need for short or longer stays with shared kitchen and living room with TV, washing machine garden and bicycles to borrow. The rooms are colorfully designed in Mexican style, with very nice typical country tiles ( Azulejos ) in the bathroom- we felt very well received and taken care of. The university and campus is right across the street - you can quickly walk to the Bahia of Chetumal and also calderitas with beach and beach cafes is not far away. Highly recommend if you are traveling alone as you will always meet people in the house.

I loved my stay! The hosts were very nice, friendly and always attentive. The space was very clean. I really recommend this accommodation in front of the university and very well served by Chetumal taxis.

Super cute boutiquey vibe hotel. The bungalow huts are super cute and full of character. The biggest comment I need to leave is about the team. The manager of the property, Marco Antonio, could not have been nicer and done anything more to help us out. We were 14 girls staying for a bachelorette and the team went out their way to accommodate our needs and help us with all our questions. Cristopher, the booking manager, was brilliant in the lead up to the stay in helping with recommendations and being able to arrange a private night in at the Palapa by the pool, with their chef cooking us a 4 course meal. Marco Antonio and the team at the bungalows ensured the night was perfect - to the point of buying two beautiful floral arrangements for the tables. I really cannot say enough good things about the staff here, they 100% made it extra special and my friend had an amazing bachelorette. THANK YOU!

The rooms and the entire hotel is as described on the pictures. Raquel was an excellent host! Due to a breakdown, our arrival time had shifted to 1 am - Raquel still allowed us to check in. Breakfast was simple but very good. Thank you again!

Supporting safe space for travelers in Bacalar

The hammocks were very comfortable. It was a new experience to sleep there but very very nice. Recommended!
