Beach house holiday rentals in Bacalar

My family and I loved this beautiful house. We have 3 children aged 2 and 5 and we thought it was going to be complicated but it was the opposite. The house has a great location, as they say it is at the foot of a cenote and it was impressive to return to the house one day when we took an excursion and see our little house in Bacalar in the distance and be able to take a photo from the Lagoon to save this beautiful memory that was an important part of our vacation. Every morning it was beautiful to open the curtains and see the Lagoon there with us, with those wonderful colors. We couldn't have picked a better place. Super complete and first class service. It is difficult to put in words how amazing our experience at Casa Sol & Luna was, you have to experience it yourself. Firstly, Bacalar is so breathtaking that no pictures you see online make it justice. The location in Bacalar is one of the best, right at Cenote Esmeralda. Next, the house is very well kept, convenient and fully equipped. You have everything you need for a comfortable and fun stay - infinity pool, room balconies, outdoor grill area, large dock, kayaks, paddle boards. Finally, the cherry on top was Pablo and Celeste! You are greeted and taken complete care of by 2 wonderful people throughout your stay. They keep the house looking pristine everyday are genuinely interested in you having a good time. We separately paid them to cook breakfast and lunch and it was the best decision of the trip. Without Pablo and Celeste our trip would not have been the same. Our entire crew loved Pablo and Celeste. This is the perfect house for a large group. My party of 10 adults loved the house and the location. The pictures don’t do it justice. We especially appreciated the outdoor kitchen and the use of the Beach Club next door. Our host Luis was very responsive to all my questions. Checking in was a breeze! Pablo the onsite maintenance guy was great. He helped us with so much during our stay and he does a great job maintaining the house and the beach club. Thank you so much Pablo! Our overall experience was amazing and 100 percent recommend staying at this property!

The house is extremely comfortable, a quiet and far away area, it is easy to go out and find a taxi , or Ana la Sra la sra takes care of the house, looking for some unit, we supported us to go to the pharmacy she on her motorcycle we thank 🏍 her very much for the gesture. The view of the lagoon is impressive to see the 🌅 sunrise even the sunset is an unparalleled peace. we thank the vests saves lives because I don't swim and that gave me security is a deep area and with a lot of stone, but it is worth it . try to bring the essentials to cook if your plan is not to go out , because there is nothing nearby .

Margo was an excellent host - immediately responsive and provided lots of useful information before we arrived as well as while we stayed with her. Her house is gorgeously decorated with everything you could need or want while there, and very clean. Kyron who works on site was wonderful as well - very friendly, and took us on a fun boat ride where he taught us a lot about the history of Sarteneja. And we loved Margo's dogs!! The pool and patio are superb and we spent many happy hours there!!! We learned after a few days that it was best for us to wear long pants, socks and shoes while watching sunset because we were particularly tasty to the no-see-ums on the beach. It had rained a few days before we arrived as well as while we were there, so I'm sure that was a contributing factor. The town was full of friendly people and a great place for some rest and relaxation. If you want to get off the beaten path while in Belize, there's no place better than to do it at Margo's!

Great location right on the lake. We especially enjoyed spending time in the outdoor eating area (with full kitchenette), and swimming and watersports activities right off the private pier. Note that the property has bedrooms in two separate buildings. Two bedrooms are lakefront, and the remaining bedrooms are a bit further back in a separate building, which also includes a kitchen and outdoor seating. The property was clean and well kept, albeit a bit dated. Location is about 5 minute drive into town. Overall a great spot for a few days in Bacalar.

Andrea and Perrine were very attentive and kind. The instructions to get to the house were very clear. If you had a question, they answered almost immediately. The house is amazing, the photos don't do it justice. I am very satisfied and happy with my stay. I hope to return soon.

My friends and I were delighted with the house , very spacious, comfortable, with a spectacular view of the Lagoon and with its own pier. Landy welcomed us and was always attentive to our needs and daily I could see what everything was clean, we always felt safe because the area is very quiet. Thousand percent recommended.

My stay at this Airbnb was excellent. The hostess was always very kind, attentive and was aware of everything I needed. The place is very nice, comfortable and clean, with a warm atmosphere that really makes you feel at home. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay there again.

The chalet is a charm✨, very comfortable, I was with my 2 daughters and it seemed very nice, it is well located, clean, with the basics to spend a few days relaxing away from the city.

We really enjoyed our stay with Marco and Pilar. They are just the sweetest and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The house is spotless. We were the only ones renting a room in the house (there are 3 available in total) and it was easy sharing the kitchen and backyard. We loved the pool and used it daily! They also have cute apartments on the same property so it’s worth asking about those if you’d prefer to stay longer and in a more private space. We loved staying in the house though as it gave us more opportunities to interact with Pilar & Marco. We definitely recommend staying here!

Marco and hi wife made a feel like at home. At the same moment all rooms has separate bathrooms like in a hotel and you have a full privacy! It is nice place in the very heart of Calderitas most attractive place in Chetumal for tourists! We had a nice talks and a lot of fun!
