Holiday rentals with beach access in Bacalar

Nos gustó mucho! El lugar estaba muy lindo y limpio! Eso sí, se recomienda para personas que lleven coche , o que no tengan tema con tomar taxi, ya que está un poco retirado del centro de Bacalar para caminar!

Guillermo and Diana's place is our "go to" place in Chetumal when we want a peaceful accomodation. It's just steps from the bay in a very walkable and safe neighborhood and close to a taxi stand and a Walmart mini mall. The neighborhood is exceptionally friendly and 30 pesos gets you to the heart of Centro and the Muelle Fiscal.

Si lo que buscas es privacidad, una zona súper céntrica, lugar tranquilo, con muelle privado, kayaks de uso sin límite y con estacionamiento, este es tu lugar ideal, nos la pasamos increíble, con una vista a la laguna maravillosa, el centro a 2 cuadras, restaurantes fuera del alojamiento y tiendas a unos cuantos pasos, flexibilidad de llegada, nos dejaron utilizar las instalaciones mientras nos daban el loft, y prácticamente el muelle era solo nuestro, pues siempre estuvimos solos, tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos buenos días, Peter siempre abierto a resolver nuestras dudas, la conexión del WIFI era débil pero nos prestó un router y se solucionó rápidamente, la única observación es que le hace falta algunos detalles de mantenimiento y limpieza (nada que afecte la estadía), la puerta del baño no cerraba bien y la llave del lavabo estaba un poco sucia, además de que la cama rechinaba con cualquier movimiento, sin duda nos hospedaríamos nuevamente!

fue una estancia muy muy placentera, lejos del ruido y la verdad para descansar 100%, el acceso a la laguna es un encanto y la verdad se respeta la intimidad de cada huésped... super cómodo y super recomendable...

5 stars for the hosts’ flexibility and willingness to accommodate our changing schedule. The place is as described, and as noted by others: a good pad to explore Bacalar and not a long term stay option, per se. Everything was clean and worked well. The parking is behind a secure gate, and everything feels safe about the location. A nice walk into the town that takes you past a lot of “real Bacalar”.

Un alojamiento excelente, cerca de la laguna y del centro y muy tranquilo.

Lugar, excelente, para descansar y disfrutar de la laguna de Bacalar. Pueblo mágico. Cuenta con todas las comunidades necesarias, y fácil acceso desde el centro de la población. La atención excelente por parte de Luis ( padre e hijo) y de don Manuel. Nos sentimos seguro se bienvenidos. El acceso a la Laguna es fácil e inicia con muy baja profundidad, ideal para los pequeños. Definitivamente recomendable.

A estadia na Villa Marbella foi excelente. A cama muito confortável, o chuveiro é bom e o Raul foi muito gentil e solicito. Também foi bastante flexível com o checkin. A acomodação tem uma vista maravilhosa para a lagoa de Bacalar, numa área muito tranquila. Por ser tranquila, é um pouco afastada do centro, mas se você estiver de carro, não é problema nenhum (pouco mais de 5 minutos de carro).

If the third time is the charm, then I can’t wait. This is by far the best bang for your buck inside of the area. The house is beyond beautiful with pretty much every accommodation. It’s located right where there’s a street fair every night, so there’s always food, taxis are consistently in the area for rides, and did I mention it has a beautiful view? The top floor is a great locations to relax with your family or a group of friends. Every room in this house is beautiful. I love it, and I will be back.

Nuestra estancia en la casa fue muy agradable pues la casa cuenta con todas las comodidades y esta justo frente a la laguna. Pero lo que la hizo aun mas especial fue la excelente atención de Pablo y Delfi que estuvieron muy al pendiente de nosotras, pues éramos un grupo de 10 amigas con edades de mas de 70 años. La casa esta muy comoda pues cada recamara cuenta con su baño completo, tv y refrigeración. Tambien el Beach Club al lado fue agradable pues la alberca esta esplendida y podíamos contar con el servicio de restaurant y bebidas en nuestra casa. La accesibilidad en la casa era muy importante para nosotras por nuestra edad y salvo algunos escalones, no tuvimos problemas para desplazarnos. Vivimos una semana muy contentas disfrutando de la laguna y de todas las comodidades de esta linda casa.

Beautiful and quiet, excellent location. We used the kayaks every day and enjoyed the hammocks in front of the Lagoon. The loft-style home setup was great for our family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults). We’d love to go back again one day!

Nos hospedamos por 3 dias inolvidables, estuvimos comodos 6 personas y un bebé, los kayaks y bicicletas fueron de gran utilidad, la cocina muy bien equipada, la ubicacion perfecta cerca del centro de Bacalar. El acceso a la laguna lo hizo una gran experiencia, entramos a todas horas a la laguna, el amanecer increible desde el kayak Landy fue muy atenta, fue flexible con el horario de ingreso, estuvo atenta en todo momento. sin duda volvere

Andrea’s place in Bacalar was fantastic!!! The space was clean, comfortable, and even more beautiful than the photos. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the design and hospitality—every detail was perfect. The location was peaceful and felt like a true getaway, while still being close enough to enjoy everything Bacalar has to offer. Andrea was responsive, kind, informative, and made check-in a breeze. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Casa muy bonita. Un poco lejos de todo pero disfrutamos mucho la alberca, el muelle y los paseos en kayak. La recámara principal muy grande, TV grande con una vista hermosa al muelle y al mar. Hay un muchacho que vive ahí en un cuartito en la propiedad que está siempre al pendiente de la alberca, en las mañanas puso los kayaks en el muelle para usarlos y en algún momento nos dio instrucciones para ir al pueblo. Definitivamente vale la pena y regresaremos pronto.

Très belle situation avec accès privé à la lagune. Nous avons passé la majorité du temps à l extérieur. Tout y est aménagé dans ce sens. (Palapa, Hamacs, chaises longues, canoés, barbecue etc) La Clim dans les chambres est indispensable la nuit, au regard des températures :) L hôte est très réactif en cas de questions ou de problèmes. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour au calme. Un vrai petit paradis !

Great location right on the lake. We especially enjoyed spending time in the outdoor eating area (with full kitchenette), and swimming and watersports activities right off the private pier. Note that the property has bedrooms in two separate buildings. Two bedrooms are lakefront, and the remaining bedrooms are a bit further back in a separate building, which also includes a kitchen and outdoor seating. The property was clean and well kept, albeit a bit dated. Location is about 5 minute drive into town. Overall a great spot for a few days in Bacalar.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Teresa’s home! Check in was flexible as we were delayed in Tulum. Teresa’s instructions were always super clear and so we didn’t have any issue finding the house at sunset, also there is a hotel next door with a restaurant in case you miss the supermarket! The house is about 10 minutes away from Bacalar town, it has a perfect view of the lagoon and everything you can need inside. The lagoon is super private as most boat trips are over on the other side of the town also. We absolutely loved being there and surrounded by nature, I would very much recommend the house!

What can I say about this remarkable stay?! This was my birthday trip and everything about it was wonderful. The place looks EXACTLY like the photos! Gorgeous view and they even decorated the suite with rose pedals, a Happy Birthday sign and continued to surprise us with 2 glasses of wine! They truly made my birthday weekend spectacular and we look forward to returning!

Loved this place. It’s peaceful and quite. Really beautiful view of the lagoon and loved that they had kayaks available to guests. Nestor was responsive and nice. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic stay! Rita was amazing through and through. Very happy with her, our stay, and everything we experienced with her and her place. Hope to stay at her place next visit.

Muy bonito lugar , excelente servicio !!!

We only stayed one night at Xcabel, but it was lovely. It is just a few minutes out of town and really easy to find. We loved the dock and swimming in the lake. The bed was really comfy and the hotel was nice and quiet for some excellent sleeping.
