Zeer mooi appartement met geweldig uitzicht over de haven van Horta. Je zit in het centrum van de stad maar toch helemaal privé. We hebben ´s ochtends op het terras in de zon kunnen ontbijten. Faial bezoek je best met een huurauto.

Tolles und gemütliches Apartment. Man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause und der Garten ist einfach traumhaft. wir wurden von Alex äußerst freundlich empfangen. Er hat uns gleich durch den gesamten Garten geführt. Unbedingt das angrenzende Restaurant ausprobieren, ausgezeichnetes Essen und toller Service. Vielen Dank :)

We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We were welcomed in person, and there were some treats to enjoy, which was very thoughtful. The apartment is very spacious and clean. The location was great, and we were easily able to walk around town. We also had an easy time finding parking on the street behind the apartment. Miguel and Pedro were lovely hosts. They were communicative and always quick to respond. We would recommend this apartment and will stay here again if we visit again.

Álvaro was an amazing host, the area was beautiful and he was able to provide many recommendations on stuff to do in the area. For others like us who wanted to explore the whole island it is a great central location that can get you to all sides in under an hour. Definitely will be recommending to our friends and family who will be visiting the island, thanks Álvaro!

One of my favorite places I've ever stayed. Spotless, spectacular views, central on harbor, small grocery shop two doors down. This high rise property is a rarity in Ponta Delgada The apartment is lovely, with every convenience considered, from sewing kits to notepads tucked into bedside drawers, chargers, umbrellas, games, music, the list goes on. Kitchen is well equipped, with lots of high quality cookware, plus cooking oil + basics like sugar + rice. Laundry works well. Parking included. Bruno is responsive and knowledgeable. He had great tips for the Azores. We did a family vacation with lots of hikes, surfing, hot springs etc. Would absolutely return.

I chose this apartment because of its proximity to grocery, cafes, and indoor parking included which allowed us to easily drive to outer areas of Sao Miguel. The apartment exceeded our expectations in terms of the sheer beauty. Had dinner on balcony several nights and explored local neighborhoods around the square. Highly recommend! I had a wonderful stay. The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was great with an amazing view the host was incredibly responsive and welcoming. I truly felt at home and would definitely stay here again. We loved our stay here it was the perfect spot to explore the island from, just 20-30 minutes away from several awesome hikes, waterfalls, and attractions. The apartment was a perfect size for 6 people. The view was unbeatable and it was a quick 10min walk into downtown and a short drive to a big beach with large waves. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Sara’s house was a great place to stay while visiting Sao Miguel. The house was clean, well stocked, private, peaceful, and situated above the town of Maia with beautiful views down the coastline and great sunsets! Our kids loved the pool which was great to return to after doing day trips. The beds were comfy which was a plus after lots of adventuring. It was within easy driving distance of many of the key sights. Sara is a great communicator, provides lots of helpful info, and responsive to any questions. We would recommend this place to anyone while visiting the Azores!

Dino’s home is one of the top three AirBnBs that we have stayed in, and we have stayed at over 30+ AirBnBs from Peru to Portugal, Europe and the US. Moreover, he is easily the best host we have ever stayed with. He was waiting for us when we arrived and spent 30 minutes showing us where everything was and how to use it. I would strongly recommend his home to anyone looking for a beautiful home in a beautiful location.

This was probably our best Airbnb experience ever! A stunning, stylish oceanfront cottage — a true dream. We traveled with our 7-month-old baby and were amazed to find not only a crib, but also a baby bathtub and even a feeding bottle. Such a thoughtful touch! The house is beautifully decorated, cozy, and fully equipped. It felt like a peaceful retreat — we loved relaxing, watching the waves, and enjoying the privacy. The beds were super comfortable, with quality linens and towels. The home was warm and welcoming, with a lovely patio and even a telescope and binoculars to admire the ocean. There were also delicious local treats waiting for us, which made us feel even more at home. Special thanks for the late check-out — it allowed us to enjoy our final morning stress-free. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat!

A Truly Perfect Stay – More Than Just an Airbnb!
Our stay was absolutely perfect. It felt more like a hotel, but with all the warmth of a family home. The property is stunning, with a beautiful pool and breathtaking views the ideal spot to unwind. The hosts and staff were incredible. Marillia, one of the owners, took our children to milk cows and even baked cookies with them – such thoughtful, memorable experiences. Breakfast, prepared by Nelia and Martha, was fresh, delicious, and full of variety a highlight each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and we felt at home from day one. We’re already planning our return to the Azores, and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you for your kindness and for making our stay so special!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Rui was responsive and helpful whenever needed. The private terrace overlooking the ocean was the true standout. Some thoughtful touches like coffee, milk, juice, and jam were also provided for our arrival. The location in São Roque is quiet but conveniently walkable to Ponta Delgada (~30 min along a beautiful coastal path). We usually found parking in the small lot at Ilhéu de S. Roque at the end of the road, though be aware it's a narrow drive where you need to drive half on the sidewalk. If that's a concern, there’s ample parking just a short walk away on Av. do Mar. We didn’t notice much noise from the nearby Cais 20 restaurant. That said, the larger bedroom faces the street and can pick up foot traffic if windows are open. The smaller room was quieter and had better ocean sounds — we actually preferred sleeping there. Beds and pillows are basic but we slept just fine. All in all, a wonderful stay with a spectacular view.

This location is INCREDIBLE. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, watching the huge aqua waves roll past the Mosteiros rocks and appreciated the easy access to the beautiful black beach. Parking is just up the street. Beds were comfortable and kitchen and bathroom worked well. Ricardo was very helpful with a reservation for dinner. We highly recommend the restaurant MoMo in nearby Ginetes. Mosteiros is well located if you plan to visit Sete Cidades and the thermal pools in Ferraria. This is a great spot!

UNBELIEVABLE stay!!! We have been lucky enough to stay in lots of airbnbs around the world and this has been my favourite, it'll stay with me for a long time. A traditional fishermen-style cottage adapted into a quirky and homely apartment with SO much care and small details which make you chuckle ☺️ The location is super convenient for all of the hotspots in Horta (marina, whale and dive trips, cafes and restaurants and the whaling museum) but avoids the crampt streets and provides a peaceful little represe from the busy (ish) streets. It's on the water front of THE most beautiful little bay... opposite two hills which show mount pico between them, the terns were diving and all of this was visible from the window! Rita also went above and beyond to provide handy contacts and help us out with specific requirements, she seemed like a really delightful human ☺️

Vi är nöjda med Marianas lägenhet! Mycket tack vare balkongen lyfter lägenheten, den är helt fantastisk! Stor och med fantastisk utsikt! Mysigt också att strand och vattenfall är på gångavstånd. Det kan vara bra för er att veta är att det endast finns ett sovrum (med dubbelsäng) så om ni är fler personer så sover några i en del av vardagsrummet, avskilt med draperi. Mariana har varit tillmötesgående och vänlig i all kontakt. Positivt har också varit hennes tips på vad att se och göra på San Miguel.

Très beau logement bien situé pour ceux qui aiment les endroits tranquilles et typiques. Pour nous, c’était parfait. Si vous aimez le café au lait, je vous recommande le Café central à deux minutes de marches du logement, juste aux abords du parc central.

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Un immense merci à Graça et Francisco pour leur accueil chaleureux et attentionné. L’appartement était impeccable, confortable et parfaitement situé pour découvrir Ponta Delgada et les environs. Leur disponibilité et leurs recommandations, notamment pour les excursions, ont grandement enrichi notre séjour. Ce fut un point d’ancrage idéal pour explorer l’île, se reposer et profiter pleinement des Açores. Une expérience 5 étoiles du début à la fin!

We loved our stay at Casas D'El Rei. The location is really good, near Santa Bárbara beach (about 15 mins walking distance), the apartments are well equipped, very comfortable, and you also have parking. The whole island is wonderful but we liked staying in this central location with easy access to explore the rest of the island. We were welcomed by Ana and also met other members of the team who made us feel welcome straight away! We highly recommend Casa D'El Rei! Thanks for having us!

Place feels safe. It's located in a private neighborhood with automatic fence. Dedicated private parking spot is under a roof so the car is extra secure. Few minutes by car from the city center. Apartment was really large, and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

My wife and I had a most wonderful stay for 6 nights at the Ocean View 11. Before we committed to the reservation I could tell we had a lot in common with our hosts. We are an active, healthy athletic couple in our 70’s that love exploring, hiking, eating, conversing with locals and learning history. The unit is perfect and well described the way it is. I could always find parking within two blocks. The best rooms in the house are the awesome patio with oven view. We had all our breakfasts there. It’s quiet, spacious and modern. The malecón along the beach is awesome and great for a walk or run. I swam at the protected beach near it. The owners gave us an amazing list of recommended sites to visit and restaurants. Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. We went to almost all of the sites and then some. I highly recommend this stay and we personally intend to return more to explore the extreme eastern part os Sao Miguel as well and to visit the other islands Enjoy it
