Holiday rentals with a sauna in Auckland

We chose this apartment due to the proximity to the Aotea Centre. It is only a two minute walk away which was just so perfect. Apartment was a great size for three adults with everything we needed. Beds were plush and all the linen was really nice as were the towels. Felt so comfortable. Only thing that might be a helpful addition is a heater in winter rather than two fans. Very quiet as it is far away from an actual street with traffic. The police station is right across from the apartment building so the odd siren is all we heard. Parking was good and we really appreciated being able to stay parked there for the Sunday as well. That was very helpful and kind. The carpark is well lit and very open so it seemed safe, especially as it is not gated or under the building. If you want a central location that has everything you need, that feels homely and super clean then this is your perfect choice. Host was very helpful and friendly.

A wonderful AirBnB with a stunning view and great amenities. So helpful to have a dedicated carpark when travelling with kids. Mike was a fantastic host and provided both portacot and high chair for our stay. The apartment had all we needed and enough space for an extended long weekend stay. We loved the selection of pools in the complex and how close it was to everything.

So close to everything, lovely host to deal with, the value for money is outstanding and communication was second to none. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Great apartment and location. Could do with a heat pump or such as was quite cold early evening and early morning but apart from that I’d recommend.

We highly recommend Samuel's place in Auckland. It's as lovely as the pictures, and wonderful to watch the sun rise and set over Albert Park with glimpses of bays in the background. My husband loved spending time on the balcony in the morning. The apartment is well equipped with top of the line appliances and furnishings and beautiful art from around the world. The gym, pool and sauna are great. The location is excellent and central within easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants, the harbour and ferries, shopping on Queens Street, the Auckland Art Gallery and Museum, The Civic Theater, Aotea Centre and Sky Tower. It's also close to the train and buses. Samuel was a wonderful host. He was very responsive, and charming and set up an introductory meeting early in our one month visit to answer questions and show us around. We would love to return to Samuel's place next year.

Hosts were fantastic! Made it all very easy and were great to deal with. The apartment is very much a well equipped but basic Air BnB. Perfect as a functional place to stay in a great location. Was great for me needing a central spot with car park but probably not the best as a cute vacation home. Great place for a work traveler!

Highly recommended! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is perfectly located - Ponsonby, Wynyard Quarter and the CBD are all walking distance away - and Victoria Park is great for a stroll/some exercise. 2 mins walk to the New World supermarket is great too. Nice size apartment (2 of us staying), with everything you need - we had an extended stay of almost 2 weeks and appeciated all of the features of the apartment. Communal pool, sauna and exercise facilities are great too. We are locals - we were staying here whilst our house is being rennovated - so know Auckland. We can heartily recommend this apartment as an excellent place to base yourself and explore the central city and waterfront!

Lara's place was fantastic. The location is amazing being so central to everything. The apartment itself is lovely with great amenities and a very comfortable place to relax in. Lara was great to deal with. We were able to check in a bit earlier due to an early flight but we were contacted even earlier to say it was all ready for us. We stayed over Easter and Lara even made the effort to advise us about supermarket hours for those in the vicinity over this period. We would definitely recommend this as a top place to stay.

Stayed in 10 Airbnb locations in 14 days and this was the best experience we had- right location in the best area ; very well kept and clean home; clear instructions for checkin and even allowed a late checkout. We had a wonderful experience in Auckland- thanks to our place of stay!

We enjoyed Richards house for a week while spending time in Whangarparoa . It was perfect for us and affordable. We made fresh herb salads from the garden and loved the fresh honeycomb on vogel's toast in the morning. Fresh eggs and strawberries were a great bonus- Loved having all the doors open on a sunny day - a great beachy zen spot. Highly recommended . It's not 5 star swank... however it is down to earth comfortable and a much loved property with everything we needed. Beds very comfortable too.

The house was beautiful and lovely location. Maris was great at communicating with clear instructions for check in, things to do in the area, how everything worked in the house and made us feel right at home. The house was tidy, clean and warming. The sauna is an awesome addition! Can’t wait to go back!

Tracey's home in Onetangi was perfect for our beach holiday in Waiheke. The beds are very comfortable and feature nice linens and pillows. The bathroom is spacious and has both a large soaking tub and a big shower, all modern and clean. The kitchen is well-equipped, plus there's a gas grill on the adjoining patio, so we cooked at home every day. The view is breathtaking, and the native songbirds provide beautiful background music from dawn to dusk. Stargazing from the deck is phenomenal on a cloudless night. Onetangi Beach is a pleasant 15 minute walk (or 5 minute car ride) away. We very much appreciated the hot tub and sauna when it got a bit chilly at the beach. This is a very special place - thank you so much for letting us stay here!

Stunning location, Eisa’s photos do not do her lovely home justice! Her home is even more beautiful in person. Very open and relaxed atmosphere. Eisa is a great host and very proactive with great recommendations and very responsive. Clean and very straightforward check in/ out.

This place is stunningly beautiful and we did not want to leave, it's one of 'those' places where you always try to stay an extra night because of how it makes you feel. It goes above and beyond the pics and description, some pics don't do it justice to be honest, and when we first arrived we could not believe our luck. So we ended up asking to stay an extra night and Steve was very accommodating and helpful and made it happen even though we gave him short notice. The view from the big stylish deck is breathtaking, the native birds and the faint sound of ocean below....there is something extremely special about this place that can't be put into words. That's not even taking into account the shared sauna, shared cabana, the huge projector for TV, the piano (so grateful to be able to play on a real piano again), foozeball, fairy lights, stylish decking. Didn't want to leave and its been incredibly inspiring to us, to see what someone can do with their land! You have to stay here!
