House holiday rentals in Au Train Township

Great place for a family. We came here in February so didn’t get to use the pool but the view was beautiful and the house was warm and cozy.

The place was great. We had a large group visiting for the weekend and the rental had plenty of room for all of us. And we loved the hot tub and pool table. Some things weren't quite functioning, like the downstairs shower and broken pool sticks - but didn't affect our stay. If you visit in the winter, I would only recommend bringing a car with all wheel drive. The parking is down a hill and we had quite a bit of difficulty getting out with our front wheel drive vehicles.

This was a great getaway! The indoor pool and sauna made this property so worth it. The house was neat and very unique! Highly recommend if you are looking for a getaway!

We had a great stay! Loved the hot tub after a long day either hiking or exploring downtown. Provided great recommendations of the area. The place was clean and spacious.

2nd time staying and we always enjoy this place

This spacious historic home is full of charm and perfect for large families or groups. The variety of sleeping arrangements was thoughtfully planned, and there’s plenty of storage throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms are well-appointed, the beds are very comfortable, and the linens and towels are soft and spotless. Its central location makes it easy to explore attractions in both Michigan and Wisconsin, including Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Norway, Florence, Pembine, and more. It’s also just 1.5 hours from Marquette, making it an easy day trip. We’re already looking forward to booking again in the future to enjoy the beautiful porches and pool during the summer months.

Kelley’s place is stunning. Our morning sunrises and view of the near by lake were outstanding. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen has everything you need (different coffee options were great). We were provided with a list of restaurants prior to coming and a welcome guide. There is a welcome guide with instructions and descriptions to everything and very thorough on expectations of guest and host in the house. It’s very peaceful and welcoming. Rental was exactly as described and pictured. Wonderful host, house, and location. Very family friendly with games and place settings up to 8 people. We would highly recommend for couples or family retreat.

Very clean and quiet place, close to the trail. Plow truck driver for the driveway and parking lot was nice and accommodating. We had 50 inches of snow during the week and he was there daily by 8:00 a.m. Very Nice 👍 We will be back! Thank You Dennis & Dianne

Phil was an amazing host! Definitely recommend his place, peaceful and quiet cabin on the water, Phil was helpful and responsive if we needed anything. Definitely recommend! !

This is our second stay at the Fox Den and it was truly even better than the first! Great hosts, beautiful property and the view of the lake is just incredible. It’s a very long drive for us but the minute we arrived I remembered why it was so worth it! We also rented a boat and caught a ton of fish including Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, two good sized Pike and a few pan fish, great few days of fishing! Fox Den is a special place with great hosts and we would give it 10 stars ⭐️ if we could.

Great place, great location, very clean, great communication, couldn't have asked for more. Really liked the house and its only 2 minutes from town, couldn't ask for more. Nestled off a very quiet road and great privacy. would/will stay here again.

This home was beautiful! It had an amazing view right off of the water. We spent a lot of our time on the river and was incredibly convenient if you’re wanting to go fishing and bring a boat because they have a dock where we tied our boat up. They provided a bunch of recommendations for around the area which was really helpful. It was a beautiful home and an incredible trip if you’re looking for a nice getaway!

What a lovely, peaceful lakeside retreat! We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house was very clean and well appointed. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The views from outside and inside the home were amazing. Every morning was spent on the Adirondack chairs with a cup of coffee watching the sun rise on the lake. For the bird lovers, we saw a kingfisher, a bald eagle and a pileated woodpecker. For the hikers, it was a short drive to Pictured Rocks, Porcupine Mountains, and countless waterfalls. We were able to view the northern lights from Presque Isle, which is just a short distance from the house. Mark was a great host, and quick to provide any information we needed before and during the trip. We will definitely be back!

Very nice accommodations in a quiet setting right on the river. The home is quite new and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night visit. It felt just like home, looking forward to our next stay.

Can’t wait to return with the family again!

This house was so great! Private, lakefront, large decks, large bedrooms. Full finished basement. Wildlife galore. Very quiet lake. Hot tub was amazing — providing great sunset and lake views. Definitely be back — great place to explore the UP, Marquette, and all there is to do in the area.

Our stay at John’s home in Munising was the perfect spot to explore Pictured Rocks. The host gave clear instructions to access the home and it was just a short drive into town. Our children loved having their own space upstairs. Everything was as pictured, clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was a small park across the street and we enjoyed pasties from Muldoons for dinner. Highly recommend this rental for families!

We had a great time here with our dog! Very clean and character filled space. Host is kind and takes care of the place. 20min walk through neighborhoods to get to restaurants near ore dock.

This house is in the perfect location to get into town as well as driving to the local hiking trail and tours! The house has a slight smoke smell if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, but it was certainly tolerable. Host was very helpful with all questions that I had and we had a great stay!

This is an incredible place. Peaceful, with beautiful views of Lake Superior, and the feeling that you have a quiet space to yourself, but with plenty of restaurants, cafes and things to do within ten minutes. I hope to make it back here again!

Jessica's place is a nice and big house. It almost has four bedrooms with a living room with a pull out couch. It was comfortable, and we had a great home base for our I've climbing weekend.

A great stay in the UP, will be glad to return!
