Beachfront holiday rentals in Atlantic Canada

Location, location, location. Such a beautiful, quiet spot on Bras D’or, we spent a lot of time just looking out over the water (it was cold out there, mind you). The cottage is charming and attractively furnished, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Storage space is minimal, but lots of hangers for clothing. The washer and dryer were a real asset. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay - awesome spot for a trip away with friends! Lots of space to lounge inside and a beautiful deck with a view. Loved having a BBQ & hot tub, and a fully stocked kitchen. Easy to move in for a couple of days and have it feel like home!

We really enjoyed the stay, very quiet and peaceful, locals are fantastic and kind. We took advantage of the fishing poles, kayaks, both fire pits, games, trampoline and most defiantly the fresh lobster from the fisherman on the wharf. Took advantage of the local sites and walks as well. We will repeat this stay in the future at this amazing little beach house.

We had an awesome stay here!! The views are beautiful, the hot tub is awesome and the house was clean! It was also really fun to see the chickens and goats! Would definitely stay here again!

Cet endroit est parfait pour une connection directe avec le fleuve. Le chalet (plutôt maison) est tout équipé, rien ne manque. Le village de Trois-Pistoles est à 5 km. 2 épiceries, 4-5 restaurants. Très recommandé.

We booked this place to get away for a few days in the peace and quiet and spend some time outside. Tyler’s place was perfect. Very quiet and comfortable and there was a lot to do! Lots of places to explore and swim nearby and no complaints at all about the home. It was really nice and well taken care of. Perfect spot to recharge for a few days! Thanks Tyler

I just wanna start with the word Awesome’. I just love the cottage. Photos cant describe the art of this cottage.. Its on the whole next level. A huge place on a private area where nobody can be seen and we enjoyed our trip without any single issue. The hosts were amazin so helpfull and even they give us another 2 hours to stay just for $36 includes taxes which is great and alot cheaper. I recmnd everyone to check out this cottage and definitly book this one.. especially for big families. Thankyou! You made our trip great!

Shobac farm is a unique architectural and farm experience. It was great to have gaffs point and Hirtle’s beach within hiking distance. The sheep were a constant fascination for our pup. Appreciated having access to a lap pool, steam shower and sauna. Thoroughly enjoyed having a wood fire and enjoying and vast country side views from the gatehouse.

Absolutely stunning place. Extremely responsive and kind host. Lots of dishes, cookware, appliances to use. Extremely comfortable beds. Three pristine bathrooms. Clean fridge. Stellar and stunning ocean views! Perfect all around

Home is beautiful and has everything you need for a short or long stay. Marissa was very accomodating and quick to respond to messages. Communication regarding check in and check out was good. I highly recommend this airbnb accommodation.

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

great spot! hot tub was fabulous on a rainy windy weekend. stayed 2 nights and had a great time. lots of space indoors and outside. would highly recommend for families and group of couples wanting an oasis from the city life. thanks to both for being so flexible on a later checkout time as well!

Quel bel endroit! Tout était propre et nous avons adoré notre séjour. La vue sur l’eau, la piscine…nous allons surement y retourner! Les propriétaires répondaient vite à nos questions et étaient compréhensifs.

Despite the lovely photos and description, it exceeded our expectations. It is really beautiful, really enjoyed views from the dome window and deck. Couch and very comfortable. Used the kayaks - watch the tides! Farmer’s market at St Andrews was a great local market. Erin and Grant were very friendly and responsive.

Absolutely perfect stay. This tiny house was everything we hoped for—and more. Tucked away in a peaceful, private setting, it offers the most breathtaking panoramic views of Acadia. The home itself is cozy, spotless, and brilliantly designed. Every inch is well thought out—from the full kitchen and comfortable beds to the large windows that frame the scenery like artwork. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. It was hands-down one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The combination of comfort, privacy, and beauty made it unforgettable. We also accidentally left a charger behind, and the hosts—Ned and Anne—were so kind and responsive, they shipped it back to us the same day. That level of thoughtfulness says everything about the care they put into both the home and their hosting. We loved sipping coffee on the deck in the morning, and watching the sun set by the fire pit. This place is the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. We’d come back in a heartbeat. A very lovely and modern place to stay. While compact, it had everything we needed and more! A BBQ and Hot tub were great! The hosts anticipated EVERYTHING and left snacks, USB converters, lint removers and much more for us. The AC and hot tub were on and waiting for us when we arrived. The bed was awesome. Large and very comfy. A great place to stay, needing more than 1 night to enjoy !

Exposure is an ideal base camp for exploring Gros Morne. The cottage is spotless, clean, and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The views overlooking Bonne Bay and The Tablelands are absolutely stunning. We especially loved the easy access to the beach for nightly sunset walks.

One of those rare times when a house described as "stunning" really lives up to it. John's house near Halifax is beautiful and serene, all windows and wood and incredible views out to the water in the cove and ocean beyond. Surrounded by trees and a garden path down to the dock, it feels private but not isolated. Great house on the inside also - spotlessly clean, streamlined so there's no clutter but everything you need, simple but quite beautiful also. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and bathrooms and just full of sunlight. Can't imagine a better spot to relax and recharge, and close to lots of good hiking. John is super friendly and responsive, a great host - look forward to coming back.

This place took my breath away as soon as we pulled into the driveway. We fell asleep to the sounds of the waterfall outside. We watched from inside the cozy house as the Bay of Fundy overtook the beach below us during a downpour. We made pizza at midnight with ingredients we found at the Wolfville Farmer’s Market. It felt so peaceful and remote, but was still a 15min drive to great restaurants. There’s a Nordic spa literally a 5min drive down the road. Our hosts left instructions and recommendations for everything. We are so grateful to Melissa and Charles for sharing their home with us.

Great spot for some peace and quiet. The little benches up the hill are a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy a view of the ocean and cliffs. Paul was very responsive and helpful and his instructions/welcome binder were full of good recommendations. Kitchen had everything you need. Was able to livestream hockey games with the wifi so it was pretty good. There is a tiny house Airbnb directly in front and sometimes it can feel like there isn’t much privacy - but that’s the only item I would rate as less than perfect. We will rent this place again if we go back to Twillingate.
