Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Atlantic Canada

This was my second time here I recommend if you’re looking for a lovely getaway!

This is a beautiful cabin on Hayden Lake with a rustic camp feel complete with modern amenities. We loved having the wood stove to warm up on the cool mornings. For those looking for a getaway in the wilds of Guysborough county, this is a great place to do it.

The location was excellent. Very private and secluded. Very calm, quiet,relaxing vibe. Binder filled with local detailed suggestions, which we really appreciated. Since it was on the chilly side we started a fire in the fireplace which was a bit of a challenge. No firestarters or paper, and no kindling in the blue Rubbermaid, nor hatchet to be found, so we spent longer than I would have liked heating the place up. It was late,so didn't reach out. Really lovely hot tub and the view in the morning was beautiful!

Pictures don’t do it justice. The view is stunning . The property is pristine. The outdoor hot tub room with windows out to the sea is amazing and a welcome shelter from the east coast winds while “soaking in the view”. Hosts were responsive to messages. Gave great recommendations for local restaurants (if you are a foodie “Fork” about 7 minutes away is a must). It’s tricky to find the place the first time because gps has some issues with it (because it’s a new road and property I think) but once you do it’s close to a major coastal road but far away enough that you hear nothing but the birds and the ocean once on property. Would highly recommend this property. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I spent a night here on a whim for a little getaway, and it was everything we needed and more! Love Lane Little House was peaceful, beautifully decorated, and cozy. Perfect for some quality time enjoying each other's company. Kimberly had a cute welcome message for us, put out thoughtful little games (we played the Perfect Match card game for couples and it was fun reminiscing together), made some excellent recommendations (coffee at the Vindicator Press was fantastic), and the homemade cinnamon buns were absolutely delicious. If you're looking for an intimate getaway close to St. John's, this place is a must!

Meigan & Peter’s place has the great of view of gros morne national park with cozy and nice interior. The best place we have lived so far in Newfoundland!

My boyfriend and I stayed here with my sister and her husband. The space was perfect for us all to fit. The spa tub was very relaxing after a long hike. We loved it! Clean and beautiful! The sunsets off the balcony were to die for. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had coffee and everything we needed. Kayla gave some good hike recommendations. Seaside restaurant is just a couple mins walk along the water and was delicious. Would def stay here again!

An awesome place to relax and get away from it all. We were 4 people and it was the perfect size. I think it would be a tight squeeze with more than that. Place was clean and very welcoming. I wish we could have spent longer there in nice weather to enjoy all the amenities that it had to offer. Merci, Richard.

Roy place was amazing! Fantastic view, quiet, cozy, private. All info about surroundings were left in the apartment. Very easy access to this place, and fridge was loaded with home made goodies. Such a cute place to stay near Bar Harbor and Acadia! The dogs were adorable! Perfect place to stay after a long day of exploring.

I rented Steve and Mary Ann’s Airbnb for my son and his girlfriend and they loved the accommodations, very comfortable and quiet… they said it was the best sleep they had during their vacation to Nova Scotia.

The place is beautifully appointed and Shelley made us feel very welccome and comfortable. Plenty of room for 2.

Great spot, super unique. Perfect for a getaway not far from the beaten path.

Staying at Nancy’s place will always be one of the highlights of our 4 week holiday. Lovely bed linens, bathrobes(!) and plenty of soft towels were so nice to have. The apartment is very nicely appointed, with ample dishes, cookware cutlery and miscellaneous pantry goods. While St.John’s popular restaurants are less than 20 min walk away, it was wonderful option to be able to eat in. We enjoyed shopping at the wonderful St.John Market for fresh meats, seafood and produce. All were easy to prepare here. Nancy was so cheerful whenever we interacted by text. I’d happily stay again and will recommend to friends and family.

Very nice accommodation, both private, in a quiet area and at the same time close to everything. We felt right at home. I recommend it!

Simon and Genevieve were lovely. Her husband was very kind and offered us a lot of sites and places to see according to what we wanted. The place is very well located and peaceful. The accommodation is very good, clean and very well equipped. I recommend this place in every respect. They are very kind hosts If I have the opportunity to return to Gaspésie, I will gladly return. I thank them for the welcome.

Fantastic place - the location, the view, and especially the host. I had requested late check out at 2am after a long day of work and they got back to me right away! Very much enjoyed our stay. Would come back anytime.

The condo was so convenient, it had minimal furniture, so it was open, gave a lot of space to my kid to run around and play without the risk of getting hurt. the place had everything you could need plus the added benefit of Netflix and HBO accounts provided by the host. Kitchen had all the utensils and pots and pans needed . They have a lovely patio , we couldn't use it because it was too cold but it'll be awesome to use in summer. Derek was super friendly. He responds within minutes and always has something to help and offer. The place also came with a pack and play which was really nice

Great location. Very peaceful! Daniel was helpful, responsive and friendly! The place was beautiful, hot tub was great to relax in. Little touches like the basket of snacks, robes and slippers and towel art made it even better!

Brian's place was great!! It is a great location - you can walk to all the main shops and restaurants right in Bar Harbor, and it is also just blocks from the Bar Island bridge that you can walk at low tide. It's also an easy/quick drive to Acadia. The place itself was just as pictured and very clean and cozy. Before I booked, I read in some others' reviews that the parking was tight, which made me a little nervous, but when I got there, I thought the parking was just fine! I have a regular SUV and had no issues. Brian was also very communicative - I didn't have any issues or need anything while I was there, but he was nice in checking in with me anyway. Highly recommend!
