Beachfront holiday rentals in Atlantic Canada

Location, location, location. Such a beautiful, quiet spot on Bras D’or, we spent a lot of time just looking out over the water (it was cold out there, mind you). The cottage is charming and attractively furnished, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Storage space is minimal, but lots of hangers for clothing. The washer and dryer were a real asset. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay - awesome spot for a trip away with friends! Lots of space to lounge inside and a beautiful deck with a view. Loved having a BBQ & hot tub, and a fully stocked kitchen. Easy to move in for a couple of days and have it feel like home!

This place was amazing!! the view is beautiful and the place was super cozy. Hopefully I’ll get to come back some day!

Just getting home from a three night stay at this beautiful location. Amazing location right on the beach close to Matane, QC. Our first time in the area. Gabriel’s listing was exactly what we were looking for and needed for a seaside escape. Highly recommend for others to check out.

Dockside was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed for a couple of days. Krystal and Darrell have created an incredible tiny house, decorated beautifully right on the water. They were on hand with a warm welcome and gave us helpful suggestions of things to see. Champney’s West is peaceful, scenic and within easy reach of Bonavista. We absolutely loved it.

I just wanna start with the word Awesome’. I just love the cottage. Photos cant describe the art of this cottage.. Its on the whole next level. A huge place on a private area where nobody can be seen and we enjoyed our trip without any single issue. The hosts were amazin so helpfull and even they give us another 2 hours to stay just for $36 includes taxes which is great and alot cheaper. I recmnd everyone to check out this cottage and definitly book this one.. especially for big families. Thankyou! You made our trip great!

This piece of paradise is amazing! The view and the hot tub are the perfect combination for a calm and relaxing weekend! Will definitely come back!

Jade's space was beautiful! Despite the gloomy weather we had a lovely stay by the foggy ocean for our anniversary! The shower is so cool and the space is so sweet. Would recommend!! :)

Shobac farm is a unique architectural and farm experience. It was great to have gaffs point and Hirtle’s beach within hiking distance. The sheep were a constant fascination for our pup. Appreciated having access to a lap pool, steam shower and sauna. Thoroughly enjoyed having a wood fire and enjoying and vast country side views from the gatehouse.

Amazing hosts.. and they make this place feel like home, on the lake. You’re going to leave wanting your own lake house, and for neighbors half this good. Beautiful spot on the lake with kayaks and a firepit right by the water. Had everything we needed and the hot tub melted the stress away.

Absolutely fabulous. Everything was communicated wonderfully and I would definitely recommend catching the sunrise. Worth every penny. The people were beyond wonderful as well. Thank you Rustico.

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

This beautiful retreat was exactly as described! Immaculate! Marissa and Paul-André were extremely helpful and quick to respond any questions we had! We felt very much at home! The hot tub is extremely near the patio doors which made our daughters who both use walkers have very easy access! They absolutely loved it! We would recommend this place a 100% ! great spot! hot tub was fabulous on a rainy windy weekend. stayed 2 nights and had a great time. lots of space indoors and outside. would highly recommend for families and group of couples wanting an oasis from the city life. thanks to both for being so flexible on a later checkout time as well!

All I can say is wow!, this place is exactly as described if not, Better! The place is outstanding as far as location, if you cannot relax here, you can't anywhere! Everything in this rental is new and very good quality, and is nice to go to a place like this where everything works well! There are a-lot of rentals in the Rocky Harbour area, I have looked at reviews on computer and physically seen many available, by far! this is the one you want, and when I had any questions about the area or the place, Rodney responded extremely fast. Btw, there is a small Ice cream and chocolate place right beside, it is all locally made and exceptional quality, Just Saying!!!

What a wonderful place to disconnect from everything! I wish we could have stayed longer as there was lots to do in the area - don’t miss Hidden Falls! Just sorry I was sick for most of our stay. Wendy and Harold were amazing hosts!

Absolutely perfect stay. This tiny house was everything we hoped for—and more. Tucked away in a peaceful, private setting, it offers the most breathtaking panoramic views of Acadia. The home itself is cozy, spotless, and brilliantly designed. Every inch is well thought out—from the full kitchen and comfortable beds to the large windows that frame the scenery like artwork. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. It was hands-down one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The combination of comfort, privacy, and beauty made it unforgettable. We also accidentally left a charger behind, and the hosts—Ned and Anne—were so kind and responsive, they shipped it back to us the same day. That level of thoughtfulness says everything about the care they put into both the home and their hosting. We loved sipping coffee on the deck in the morning, and watching the sun set by the fire pit. This place is the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Thanks again!

Incredible place to stay. Perfect for Gros Morne, only a short drive to the park boundary. Everything about this place was excellent. All the necessary supplies plus a few very welcome treats. The fire pit by the lake was a lot of fun at the end of the day. We had wonderful weather but if it's not so good this is a very comfortable place to relax. Sometimes you find a place that you are happy to recommend to friends and family, this is it.

My only regret is not staying longer! My family loved this airbnb. It’s the best airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! Clean, beautiful view, comfy couch, super comfortable beds, a sauna, a massive collection of games/books/toys and even records and a record player plus so many more amenities. I could go on and on about everything we loved about this place. I would go out of my way to stay here again!!

One of those rare times when a house described as "stunning" really lives up to it. John's house near Halifax is beautiful and serene, all windows and wood and incredible views out to the water in the cove and ocean beyond. Surrounded by trees and a garden path down to the dock, it feels private but not isolated. Great house on the inside also - spotlessly clean, streamlined so there's no clutter but everything you need, simple but quite beautiful also. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and bathrooms and just full of sunlight. Can't imagine a better spot to relax and recharge, and close to lots of good hiking. John is super friendly and responsive, a great host - look forward to coming back.

It’s hard to describe just how incredible and charming the Snug is. John and Linda went above and beyond as hosts. We feel grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at their home, and equally to have met our lovely hosts. The views are spectacular! We loved getting to sit on the chairs by the beach and just daydream away. At night, we got to sit out on the balcony and star gaze. It was perfect! The area is very peaceful, and quiet. We felt like we had escaped to a secluded private island for a few days. But it’s also close enough to town, so if we wanted to go out to a restaurant or to shop, we could easily do so. The neighbors are wonderful too! We were lucky to get to witness and participate in their community coming together one morning. We absolutely loved that we got to experience that vibe while there. This was our second time here. And we are already planning a 3rd. Easily one of the best airbnbs out there. Thank you again John and Linda for a magical experience.
