We stayed here with our two young kids and it was perfect. The apartment was very comfortable for a family. They left so many thoughtful touches like nice shampoo and espresso pods. The location and access to all forms of public transportation (trains, trams, busses and metro) can’t be beat. I’d recommend this spot to anyone!

João's place is so well put together. Everything you could need, lots of nice restaurants nearby and right beside the train station and the beach. Top marks!

Perfect stay, close to all public transport to be able to go to Lisbon as well as Sintra... A little noise at night but being so close to the capital nothing too disturbing. The only downside is that the floor could be cleaned a little better. Maria who received us was perfect, clear and very kind. Thank you also for the cupcakes on our arrival. The accommodation is huge for 4 people and well equipped

We've just arrived home from celebrating our 40th in Lisbon. We had the BEST time there and this beautiful apartment was absolutely perfect in every way! Very comfortable, clean, quiet and stylish. We absolutely loved the balcony! It was great to sit out there after exploring Lisbon for a few hours before we headed out for the evening. And the views from the balcony were spectacular! Location was excellent too. Within walking distance of all the great places of central Lisbon. Not too busy but not too quiet either. Maria was an excellent host! Great communication throughout the whole process, from answering questions before booking to how to access the apartment on arrival and offering suggestions of places to visit if we needed them. A wonderful location, within easy reach of the trim/bus lines, and an easy walk to numerous restaurants. Private with a lovely patio. Responsive and helpful hosts. After exploring the city during the day, it was great to return to relax and unwind.Highly recommended!

Fantastic apartment in a quiet and peaceful location with wonderful city and water views Host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. The Apartment had everything for a short or long stay. I stayed 2 weeks and found everything I wanted or needed. Grocery stores super close. Restaurants and shops everywhere. I recommend the 'yellow bus' tours--busses, tram and boat tour. Highest recommendation !!!

What a lovely place! It was a fantastic location, close to the beach, restaurants, and yet still very quiet at night. Paulo was an amazing host, very prompt in all his replies. If you’re going to Nazare, I can’t imagine you’d find a better place. Five golden stars!

We had a fantastic stay at Sofia’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. She took the time to personally meet us, brought us some fresh Pastéis de Belém and wine, which made our experience feel very special. Her instructions and recommendations were incredibly helpful, ensuring we felt comfortable and knew the best places to explore. Whether it was tips on local restaurants or guidance on how to navigate the area, her insights made our trip so much smoother. The space itself was cozy and well-equiped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The appartement is on 3 floors, there is 1 bathroom on 1st floor to be used for bedroom on 3rd floor. The other bathroom is within the masterbed room. We truly appreciate the personal touch and care that Sofia puts into hosting, and we would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a great experience. She also accomodated an earlier check-in as our flights arrived early morning.

We had a wonderful time in Vale da Palha! The accommodation was very nicely located – in the middle of the countryside – and there was an incredible amount of space in the garden to relax and linger. An absolute highlight! Our own terrace was in the sun all day, perfect for breakfast, reading or just enjoying the peace. The accommodation was perfectly equipped, we really lacked nothing – everything we needed was there. The location is quiet and you need a car for the area, but you can also wonderfully spend time in Xander's huge garden. Another highlight was the five chickens that visited us regularly – as well as the friendly cats and dogs on the property. We like to think back to this beautiful time and can only highly recommend a stay here! ☀️🐓

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

No detail was overlooked at Xana & David’s home. Everything was PERFECT. I truly cannot put into words how amazing our time was. From the beautiful home to the perfect location (close to restaurants, super markets, beaches and the city), our stay was incredible. I wish I could give more than 5 stars- the best home with the most incredible hosts!!!

As noted earlier, we loved your home! Very comfortable and we loved all of the windows. Would definitely recommend it to friends traveling in this area of Portugal!

We were charmed by the accommodation and the environment. Proximity to the coastline and a vibrant, lively village heart. To get to Lisbon without a car, take the bus for 30 minutes drive and then the metro. Very easy.

From the moment we arrived, the host's warm welcome set the tone for a delightful stay. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, featuring comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with essentials like coffee, tea, and laundry supplies. Public transportation was easily accessible, with metro stops just a short walk away, making it easy to get around. Ana was great and so was her place!

Fabulous accommodation. So spacious and clean. Also very quiet considering it is in a busy area. Walk to everything. Ferry, trams, buses. Great local restaurants and cafes. Fabrics coffee shop downstairs has great coffee. Good having air conditioning, double glazing and shutters. The beds were very comfy and good water pressure. We would stay again. Having lifts is also helpful.

I highly recommend this place. Central location in the old Lisbon, residence set up, space in the appartment and the private court to relax. This deserves without doubt a 5 out of 5. I will be back!

We loved the house and location. Super helpful host.

The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.
