Nice and calm play to stay

Great stay. very quiet and serene. hosts were friendly and helpful.

Great stay, It was really easy to self check-in, quite spacious for a 1 bed unit. Well thought out, nothing is missing, and it was nice and clean.

Great location! Very clean - 3 big rooms with very comfy beds! Easy walking to restaurants and to St. FX.

Quiet place, but close to Antigonish. Nice, modern accomidations. Would stay here again.

Jeff's place, Mya's Retreat, was just about perfect for me. It was super clean, all brand new, and well equipped in a compact and comfortable space. It felt very private but I didn't feel isolated. Not only was Jeff very approachable and friendly through the app as soon as I reserved the space but his daughter was also very kind and helpful. Jeff was away and told me that she was staying next door. When I ended up getting sick the second day I was in town, I contacted her to see if she had any throat lozenges and she ended up bringing me some herbal tea and all the lozenges she had as well as going out and picking me up some more meds. I felt that anything I needed, she would respond promptly. Jeff even contacted me when he heard I'd been sick and generously offered to compensate me to make up for a lost day of my visit. This was totally above and beyond! I would definitely return there and recommend it to anyone who would respect the hospitality in return.

This unit is in a two story apartment building, set back from the road which makes it easy to miss. The flip side of this is that it is very quiet, with a beautiful view of St Peters Bay. There is a grocery store within walking distance, along with a few places to eat out. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

It was a perfect quick stop over for a hockey game. It served our needs perfectly and we would definitely stay again.

My partner and I had an amazing stay. Super convenient and close to town. I needed a later check out and John was super accommodating. Beautiful place felt just like home. Will definitely be back next trip to Truro. 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Robert’s place. The location is great as it is close to many amenities and shopping. The unit itself was comfortable and well equipped.

We loved Janine’s place overlooking the bay, even with cloudy weather it was a gorgeous view to wake up to. We had no trouble finding the place and getting in and felt comfortable in the apartment right away, we also felt safer knowing Janine was nearby if we needed anything - though the apartment had everything we needed and more! It was so nice being surrounded by nature and seeing the swallows nesting, red wing blackbirds snacking, and even a hawk circling over the trees. Close to town with the restaurants and Farmer’s Market on Saturday, but still a quiet area with almost no one around other than the locals. We also really enjoyed our Tidal Bay from nearby Jost vineyard - coincidentally one of my favourites! We were able to barbecue and make a fully locally sourced meal, and the bed was so comfortable. Thanks again Janine, we loved seeing you two working hard on the farm, we’ll be back!

Joe's Hideaway was perfect for our visit to Cape Breton. We enjoyed our stay in the flat, and would not hesitate to return for another stay. Thank you very much.

My dog and I had a wonderful time at Florians! His driving instructions were helpful and he was quick to offer support. I have no complaints and really enjoyed staying there. If you intend to hike while you're there pack some rain boots as parts of the trail get quite muddy. I was prepared and enjoyed the trail! I would definitely return!

Had a very comfortable stay at Jodi's place. She was extremely friendly and quick to respond. The place was exceptionally clean and comfortable. From the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, to simple luxuries such as air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Made sleeping on those warm nights easy! Overall, a great space & an amazing host!

This is a nice place, very comfortable mattress, with well equipped kitchen, and a big plus is a super firm sand beach and Lake Charlotte boat ramp close by. Had an excellent 3 nights here. We recommend The Diner char grilled burger a few minutes east of Webbers Store (which is currently closed) which gives this 2nd floor apartment and deck considerable privacy.

Loved our stay even if it was only one night

We had a long term (5month) stay. Sue & Chaz went above and beyong helping us settle in including helping us as we got the children set-up catching the bus to school. They were only to happy to help if we needed anything. They were incredibly friendly and made sure we felt at home. They cared about the kids letting them hang out with their pets (my kids loved that they allowed them to have the cats hang out with us!). Chaz pulled out toboggans when snow covered their fields and the kids enjoyed playing in the snow! (Being from Australia this was awesome). The place has a stunning view from the loungeroom overlooking their gardens and the water. The location is perfect- quiet, quintessential P.E.I ! They also had great recommendations for the music and resturant scene in Charlottetown making sure we made the most of what P.E.I has to offer. We'll be back!

Courtney’s place is lovely. It is right in the center of Baddeck and has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Donna's place was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well supplied for making meals. I also appreciated the ample parking (two full-sized pick-up trucks fit easily) and proximity to great places to eat (I was sometimes too tired to use the fine kitchen)! Donna made the stay easy and convenient - thanks!

Debra and Jimmy were wonderful hosts. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It was like staying in an oasis with the most beautiful property and views. They offered us fresh fish and vegetables to prepare our first night there. Jimmy taught us to fish in the private cove. Unbelievable hospitality. I would give them 10 stars if I could. We will definitely return. Highly recommended. Thank you Debra and Jimmy for such an amazing experience. Memories we won’t forget.

Courtney’s place is right above her charming artisan’s shop which carries the work of local crasftspeople, artists, and authors. The apartment had exactly what we needed, but not too much. It was serene, airy, bright and cozy. We loved our 6 nights there. I didn’t want to leave! Courtney was a delight - helpful, cheerful, kind. My husband and I highly recommend this sweet little oasis. 💖
