We had an amazing stay, with excellent comfort. Breakfasts and dinners are worth it since the food they make is very good and also homemade. The landscape is beautiful and the owners are very kind, helpful and their recommendation of sites and routes to see is 10. We will repeat without a doubt😁.

My stay was wonderful. The apartment is well located, close to the museum, market, bus and good restaurants. The subway is a 7-minute walk. The room is comfortable and the building quiet. I would like to highlight Joseba's hospitality. Always very patient in answering questions and attentive. I felt very comfortable. Would recommend.

Aitzol and Ainhoa are extremely welcoming and always attentive hosts and I felt very comfortable in their beautiful home. The location is superb, in a small hamlet along the Soba valley with spectacular scenery all around and beautiful walks directly from the house. Delicious breakfasts and dinners are served on the terrace, all delightful with fresh local ingredients. I look forward to returning!

Joseba is a very friendly persina, she will help you answer questions if you are a tourist or give you recommendations to have a pleasant stay in Bilbao. Highly recommended.

Irene's place has been superb in every aspect. We felt right at home. Everything is rustic as well as modern and the quiet area ideal to disconnect. The perfect Jacuzzi room. There was a bathroom with shower and blinds and against windows that allowed a rest without light. The breakfast is delicious and lovingly prepared. You can't ask for more. We'll be back.

The place is just stunning. The rooms are well decorated, spacious and clean. Within the property there is an excellent restaurant that serves delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. Overall the staff and the place are superb! Warmly recommended 😀

With our family (including two children from 3 and 5) we stayed with Aitzol and Ainhoa in the Casona for five nights and that was very nice! They cooked deliciously for us (both breakfast and dinner), the children were able to enjoy themselves in the garden and the Casona felt like a castle. But the most special was their hospitality, even to the children. They actually didn't want to leave. About the area also something than praise: we understand that they fell in love with this valley. We made beautiful hikes and also visited a small animal park and a cave on the advice of Aitzol and Ainhoa. Long story short: they were very nice days!! Only point of attention for families with (small) children: it is an old house and therefore a bit noisy. We have not been bothered by others, but it is useful if your own children are not too noisy (they did their best and we had no complaints, but still a small challenge :))

It is highly recommended if the intention is to surf.

Very good location. Close to the old town and also to the Guggenheim. Public transportation is also very close. Although I only stayed to sleep, everything was clean and the common areas were tidy. 100% recommended!!

Cozy and spacious room, with taste in decoration, and perfectly clean. Lots of silence and intimacy. A varied common spaces to be, depending on the time of day, inside and especially outside the house: for the aperitif we sat in the shade of the bamboo forest, with a great breeze, and in the afternoon we had a good time chatting in the courtyard. Abundant and very good breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, but leaving complete independence. At the farewell I bought a basket of produce from a local farmhouse at the farewell. Although the house is secluded, you reach the village on foot in 5 minutes (bar-restaurant with home-cooked, well-cooked food menu). Surroundings of all kinds (walks from the house, Indoor Cantabria, Santoña, Laredo and Noja beaches 15 minutes away, Santander and Bilbao 50 minutes away). A dream.

We had an excellent stay at La Casa de los Miradores located in a riverside village. We were looking for a place near Santander that offers a richer experience than the typical hotel stay. This property was perfect! One of the best things about this house is the namesake “Mirador”, a glass enclosed sitting room that makes for an amazing place to enjoy the views of the rolling hills. We stayed on the upper level which gives you a lot of privacy since you have the whole level to yourself with an open “yoga area” plus a private bedroom/bathroom. The main level is available for use and features a gourmet kitchen and living area with doors that open to the lawn. The other highlight are the hostesses, Pilar and Isabelle. They are fun and easygoing. Isabelle is a native Cantabrian and can give you tips on local sites, restaurants and day hikes. The location is perfect - an easy day trip to Santillana del Mar and all the gorgeous beaches. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

The house, the surroundings, the blueberry field, the nearby Berria beach, and mostly Anna and Jasper and their kindness, everything was perfect. Thanks and see you next time!

We stayed 5 nights at Hanne’s & Jasper’s place and truly loved our time there. It’s a very cozy countryside house right by a blueberry field, and you are a short car ride away from all the stunning beaches. I had such a wonderful, 10 days stay! I had a very clean, quiet beautiful room with a lovely view on the wild green countryside, with peaceful cows and horses. Gema and her family are truly nice, warm lovely people, it was a pleasure to talk with them. Breakfast was abundant and very good. I will surely come back and I totally recommend you to stay there. The position is strategic and I’ve been able to drive all along pays basques, Cantabria and Asturias in a very comfortable time, reaching without effort all the famous beaches and towns. We absolutely recommend this place !! It’s hard to say what we preferred as host were really nice, place, bedroom and bathroom are really good and breakfast soooo good with fresh bread and homemade jam every morning. The environment is awesome and peaceful. A relaxing stay in the middle of the nature is waiting for you !!

It's been a great stay. If you enjoy the purely rural settings, the Gandara hostel is a good option to spend a few days quiet and disconnect. Jose Manuel and his family have been very friendly and helpful from the moment. A family atmosphere and warm where we felt right at home.

Family weekend in Las Gallinas de Maria. We booked 4 rooms, 3 doubles and 1 quadruple. Every room is different and all has its charm; there's no shortage of detail in any of them. Very quiet area in the middle of nature, where in the morning you only hear the singing of birds. The hosts, both Maria and Unai, have made us feel at home and have also advised us very well to get to know the area and to enjoy their gastronomy. They prepared the two days a spectacular breakfast for us. When good things come together and want to please, the result is unbeatable. Thank you for everything, we will visit you again.
