Cabin holiday rentals in Ashland County

Beautiful location, quiet can see so many stars at night. We went in the Spring as we wanted to visit state parks in northern Wisconsin. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

We rented both sides and it worked great for two families. Two kitchens and two living rooms when you have 4 kids makes everything easier. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids and the walking distance to the hill was a bonus. We would definitely rent this place again!

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were perfect for what we needed and we really enjoyed being so close to the lake and the peacefulness of nature.

Had a great time on the island, and a great stay at the cabin. Katy had great suggestions for things to try during our stay (the food truck was awesome!). Thanks for being a great host.

Daniel's place was a true sanctuary. From the peaceful view from either of the decks, to the detail in the decor, this house has exactly what we needed. Daniel was extremely accommodating and friendly. He was helpful while also making sure we had plenty of privacy. I would recommend his airbnb to anyone looking for a little island getaway.

We had a great stay at this cabin! The fishing was fantastic, with plenty of catches to make our trip unforgettable. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed and was incredibly comfortable. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

From the moment we pulled up to the cabin, it was fantastic. We rented it for a late-season family get-a-way. We're not big winter outdoors people and Jenna's place accommodated that beautifully. We made good use of the game room, spent a lot of time sitting in front of the fire, and took a day trip into Hurley/Ironwood to visit local shops. I recommend Sharon's coffee in Hurley if you're a coffee snob like us. I also enjoyed the European imports shop and Ollie's (very amusing store) in Ironwood. The wildlife was great, so many photos ops! And I truly appreciate a tidy space, yet this place exceeded expectations. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

Had a great stay! Would come back! My 4 year old son loved fishing off the dock every cast caught a fish. We had a good time.

Cozy little cabin in the north woods. Comfortable beds. Nice enclosed patio. Located right on the lake. It has all the amenities you would need for a long weekend. We'll stocked kitchen with all the cookware you would need.

Enjoyed a peaceful lakeside vacation. Went ice fishing and caught a 24" walleye at night. Perfect weekend and a beautiful view of the lake.

Really unique rental in a beautiful location. The town of Bayfield and the surrounding area was amazing to explore, really friendly people, amazing restaurants, and such a cool atmosphere. The rental itself was clean, quiet and private, great view of Lake Superior to enjoy. Jessica was very easy to communicate with, gave us an awesome list of recommendations of things to do in the area, and made the check in process smooth as butter. We are already planning our next visit, thanks very much!

This place was as described and had plenty of amenities and essentials. It had a stocked kitchen for cooking on-site and it was a comfortable place for our group. Located in a friendly area and close to everything that Iron County, WI has to offer. I would recommend for a northern getaway.

Beautiful place and location. We loved the cabin’s kitschy personality. Yes the stairs are steep but we were anticipating that based on other reviews. It worked out fine for us. We had small dogs with us that were carried up and down the stairs when went to bed in the evening. Couple small things would have made the stay a little more comfortable. A few board games for rainy days. A couple basic cooking items like oil, sugar and garlic powder. The pillows are pretty beat up and could use replacing. All of these things are pretty easily overlooked though for the location alone. Woodsy and magical and so close to Big Bay Town Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this beautifully crafted cabin.

Our stay at the Lakefront Mercer Cabin was exceptional. The cabin was comfortable and clean, and its location was great. Our group appreciated the updates to the bathrooms, kitchen, and living area and the vinyl collection is legit. We used this as a basecamp to do some cross country skiing and snow biking in the area and found it to be an ideal launching spot. The lake is quiet and beautiful; abounding with wildlife. We'd love to come back in the summer to do some kayaking. The guest contact, Dave was proactive, responsive, and friendly. We would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a comfortable space with history and charm; all with the comforts of home.

This was a lovely place. The location couldn't be beat. The only issue was the mice that invaded about 1/2 way into the stay. The caretaker helped us set traps but it was the sorepoint of the trip.

Excellent communication with Rhonda prior to and throughout our stay! The home is very comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. Enjoyed sitting at kitchen table and in living room and looking at the backyard/lake. During our early April stay, we watched the snow melting and then new fresh snowfall one morning. Very relaxing! We visited Cooper Falls State Park and Morgan Falls during our stay. Took walks also along the street/road in front of the home. Easy to access apps on the HDTV. Definitely would stay again!
