Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ashford

We stopped over at Kates place before we took the Shuttle over to France and it was perfect. The house is super comfy, clean, very sweet, and Mersham is a lovely village. The house is practically next to the pub, which served good beers and very decent food and the staff were great. Kate also let us know about the new cafe (along with lots of other pieces of info and helpful recommemdations) - which was ideal for breakfast. Everything was so easy. Would have happily stayed longer and definitely would stay again!

Second year staying at this beautiful little home. Perfect for all our needs and always a lovely warm welcome. Peaceful and lovely surroundings and the chicken and goats always a child pleaser.

Lovely house in a good location for the tunnel. We walked to the shopping outlet for a look round the shops and dinner. House was spotless on arrival and smelled fresh. We got a parking space right outside. Would stay again.

Sabina's house was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. It was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are very spacious. We had a great stay there and Sabina was a responsive host. We would definitely stay there again.

The host, accommodation was ideal for what we wanted. On arrival the location was not great but once inside the house is really lovely. We were staying when on a training event so out from 9am till 9pm. There is a shop just down the road which was convenient. Can’t fault the house just the location. The neighbours back garden was full of rubbish like mattresses so looked very unsavoury but apart from seeing it when you open windows it didn’t impact on our stay. All in all very nice. The carpets and everything in the house looked brand new.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, we felt right at home. Dee and Jeff were exceptional hosts, very friendly and welcoming. They really do go the extra mile, as all the reviews say - to ensure we have a pleasant stay. The barn was everything I expected and more, you could see there were so many nice personal touches and preparation that went into making our stay as amazing as it was - from the complimentary breakfast (locally sourced), to the mobile charger and bottles of water by the bedside. Also, loved having access to Netflix and Prime! Will absolutely recommend and stay again, maybe in the Autumn/Winter time to take advantage of the log burner and fire pit outside!

We have loved it from the first moment. Very nice home with comfy beds and sofas. The kitchen is well equipped and both bathrooms are very clean. Our favourite has been the garden, which invites to relax under the trees. Highly recommended. Would always stay again.

We stayed at Marie’s for the weekend to experience the steam strain and the safari. The place is cosy, clean and located in a very quiet village. Mark & Marie made us feel at home and they prepared everything for our 2 years old son…bath basin, shower gel, toys, books and even milk in the fridge. We asked to place our ice pack in their freezer and they brought a small freezer for us 😍. They even prepared few beers in the fridge for us. Also, they gave us a late check out to let our son taking a nap. Super attentive and considerate hosts. Many thanks Marie & Mark.

We are a group of 6 friends meeting up for our annual jaunt in Folkestone. Being honest, we are quite a fussy older group who were absolutely blown away with the stunning interior, views and amenities. Not sure I wanted to give it such a high rating because we will definitely be coming again and want to keep it available! Honestly, the flat is stunning, there is nothing I would change. 2026 booking incoming.....

Gorgeous flat on the seafront, with two super comfy bedrooms and beautifully curated art throughout the house - would 100% stay again if I’m ever back in St Leonard’s!

Great little apartment. Really cool use of space in loft room. Appreciated breakfast bits. Bed comfy. Lots of hot water. Good selection of DVD'S. Not too far to walk to city centre. David was a great host and kindly let us park there for the day. Great find!

I was so impressed with this apartment, it was spotless, well located, fantastic sea view! It’s a short walk from the station, on the sea front. The kitchen is well equipped and there was ice in the freezer! Highly recommend.

The Annex is spacious, airy and comfortable. It's close to a bus stop but a walkable distance from the city centre. Dawn is a very responsive, considerate host. I very much enjoyed my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Shed. Tina and Jeremy were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The Shed is exactly as described with everything you need and set in a beautiful garden surrounded by fields. We loved the peacefulness and the bird song. We were delighted to visit The Prospect Cottage with the garden in full bloom only a short drive away, as well as Great Dixter Garden, Sissinghurst Castle Garden and Scotney Castle. We discovered a part of Kent that we had never been to before. Thank you Tina and Jeremy.

This is a great place to stay for a short break or a working visit to Margate. Everything I needed for my stay in a nice location close to the seafront.Will definitely be back.

Great studio for a quick stay in Whitstable! Sian was helpful communicative. We enjoyed the easy access to all that Whitstable has to offer. Enjoyed the care the hosts took to curate a small space to the guests needs.

Fantastic host with great communication and a desire to deliver a really bespoke experience

This is my 2nd visit to Richard’s property and I still love it as much as I did the first time. Right in the centre of Canterbury, it’s a perfect location for shops, museums, transport etc. The apartment has everything in it you need and is very comfortable. All contact with Richard is fast and friendly. His written instructions are very clear on accessing the apartment too. Fab place, fab City, fab host.

The apartment was very comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wood-burning stove and the terrace with its peaceful view were definite highlights.

We absolutely loved our stay here over a long weekend! The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable, with beautiful views to wake up to. Diana was a wonderful host - warm, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. No request was too big or too small, and she welcomed us like we were part of her family. Alex and Jess are incredible hosts offering a wonderful and welcoming guest suite. The hosts were friendly, helpful, clear, and prompt with all communication; they offer plenty of recommendations for any potential tourists, and leave detailed instructions answering all questions. The location is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by many beautiful trees in just a 20 minute walk from the Canterbury town centre. Nearby neighbours are friendly and quiet. The place was completely spotless, featuring comfortable furniture and necessary amenities. Water pressure and temperature range was perfect, as well (a huge bonus). One note for tall guests is that the ceiling slopes a bit low in some parts (see the listing photos), but this was not a concern for myself at all. There is a slight hill getting up to the address, but the surrounding trees provide cool shade. Overall, I had a perfect stay and would totally recommend Alex and Jess’ place. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Great space for larger families with adult kids especially with one bedroom on lower floor and also having three separate bathrooms. View amazing. Relaxing airy feel. Big bedrooms. Will be back again.

Tom was very helpful from the beginning until the end of our stay. As we met him during check in, he was very nice as well. The place looked really amazing-style, location, space. We really appreacite the free breakfast (cereals, pastries, milk) and the proseco. Bed was comfortable and the place has everything you need during your stay. We felt at home and will surely stay again next time if we ever find ourselves in Canterbury. ⭐️

A great weekend away. The flat was exactly as described and had everything we could possibly need - including lots of little extras. Having air-con in both the living area and bedroom was perfect. Communication was excellent.
