Cottage holiday rentals in Arroyo City

Nancy met us in person at her place and explained thoroughly about local restaurants and things to do. We truly enjoyed the hot tub and all 3 swimming pools. When we arrived she had set out a few welcome snacks and a few homey decorations for Christmas. We most definitely will see be returning and look forward to being her guests once again. 💖

One of the best - if not the best… Airbnb’s - I have ever stayed at. Lupita’s place was immaculate!! Beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and she literally thought of every detail one would need to feel like you were at home. I will definitely book again!!

It is the perfect blend of comfort, style, and nature. The interior was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed – from a fully stocked kitchen to the softest linens. Every detail felt carefully curated to make our stay relaxing and memorable. We especially loved fishing off the deck, the peaceful mornings spent admiring the scenery and listening to seagulls. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing clear instructions and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It’s clear they put a lot of love into this place. Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat, a quiet solo escape, or a peaceful family getaway, this cottage is an absolute dream. We’re already planning our next visit!

We enjoyed our stay at Long Island Village so much! Although the launch was delayed, we still adventured to Brownsville and visited with C. L. Wehrel with Base Camp Zero. This Air B&B provided the exact rest and relaxation we needed and is in a great location. It's just a few minutes to SPI if you want beach time. Everyone was nice and we even made some new friends! Highly recommend 💙

I and my family had a blast my husband was able to fish and not have to leave location we had everything we needed all we needed to bring was food

Definitely gives the vibe of “home away from home.” Cozy and the back porch views are amazing. Great location!

Great place

We hope that the Green Jay cottage is available forever and ever because it was soooo cozy, so private, so visited by so many colorful and gossipy birds, the entire experience was charming. Smiled every day when we returned to our cottage!

Had such a nice stay at this location, love to stay at Long Island but this was by far my favorite home.

Martha’s home was amazing! Great out door space. We spent most of our time out there. Beds were comfortable. Lots of fans to keep cool. All in all a great experience. Loved the amenities. Such a cute but tough little par three. We really had a lot of fun!

The stay was great, but the “ amenities & parking” fee was way too high $90 because you still have to pay another deposit $20ea. for the activities that “were included .” The cottage was cute but we booked it cause of location & price & then was surprised by all the extra hidden cost that were not originally mentioned. The amenities that we had to pay for that we’re not included in our regular cost when I asked for a breakdown where stuff like shampoo, sheets, curtains, bathrooms, living room, bed, etc. I don’t think these are amenities. I think these should be included in the cost, amenities are stuff that aren’t normal in the Airbnb like a pool table, hot tub, maybe like a washer and dryer those types of things. The fishing was nice and convenient and we enjoyed that very much. The view is beautiful but all in all probably won’t stay here again due to the basically $100 parking fee.

Such a fun place to stay!

Abe’s place is a hidden gem. It’s private, peaceful and spacious. Had all the essentials we needed. My family had a great time. We will be back again. Thank you Abe!

Daniel’s tiki fishing cabin was great very spacious well thought out and great amenities. Had a very fishing dock with lights and multiple fish cleaning stations quite area well maintained and had great little extras that made the place more of a home instead of just a air bnb from little bathroom items to good kitchen accessories to cook with would highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay in the front apartment of Judith's place, and if you're going to be in Brownsville, I highly recommend this AirBnB. Judith provided directions to the house, which was useful considering that the one-way streets in the area can initially be confusing. The interior was adequately and charmingly furnished, and looked nicer and more spacious in real life than in the photos. The bed was comfy, and the basic supplies we would expect at an AirBnB, including kitchen spices and toiletry items, were provided. There were even some fancy touches like the clawfoot tub in the bathroom. It can be really hot in Brownsville, and the AC never let us down. Centrally located, much is in walking distance from the house and we always felt safe in the neighborhood. If we were to return to Brownsville, I wouldn't hesitate to book this or the larger rear apartment. Thanks, Judith!

I loved staying there! Perfect size for about 1-3 people. Shower worked wonderful, provided nice towels, plates and bowls , paper towers, and silverware.

Just the kinda of place I needed not too big not too small felt just like home will be going back!

This is a must stay for couples and small families that need a quiet home. excellent views of space x for launches! We enjoyed fishing off the back dock in the evenings, the mangrove snapper fishing was excellent!

The property has a great open waterfront balcony that makes this place very special. The overall interior of the house is very homey and feels very comfortable to stay in. Not to mention, this property is located well within a good distance from the main South Padre Island, allowing easy trip back and forth to and from South Padre Island. If given the opportunity, we will definitely stay at this property again!
