Big comfortable room with amazing views. A very effective standalone electric heater is provided to keep out the sea chill. Breakfast was delicious and prepared using good quality ingredients. Do give yourself a minimum of an hour to enjoy it to the full. Avril provided us with interesting insights and useful information relating to our travel plans. Many thanks..

Fiona is a fantastic host, and she cooked us an excellent breakfast! She made sure we had everything we needed and more. She made us dinner reservations and gave us recommendations of things to do throughout the day. We are looking forward to our next trip and plan to stay with Fiona! I highly recommend!

Relaxed, professional, exactly as was expected.

It was a fantastic couple of nights away. Full B&B service with a wonderful host. Very close to the beach and not too far away from Oban. Would 100% recommend this home to stay, whether for one person or a whole group.

Rosemarie und Donald waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben alles dafür getan, dass wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Gerne kommen wir zurück und schauen auf einen Aufenthalt auf Islay zurück, bei dem die Unterkunft die schöne Insel perfekt gemacht hat.

Karen is a wonderful host and her house quite stunning with fantastic views and very tastefully decorated. Our room was large and very comfortable..light and airy. We had many and varied conversations over a lovely breakfast. I cannot recommend more highly and would return tomorrow if I could!

We messaged Stephen at a very last minute (night before) with an unusual request, which was well received and accommodated for with no problem, which we were grateful for since that was our bargaining card if we were to spend a weekend on the island! It was easy to find the place, with clear instructions, and access, located near the shore, which was in a walking distance to many places nearby! Great short stay, and really accommodating, thank you!

This is a real gem. It is very close to the ferry terminal to Iona, and it is easy to walk to Iona or around Fionphort. John helped me book a boat trip to Staffa. He made the call himself and made sure I could pay on the boat. The breakfast is cooked to order and is delicious - lots of fresh local and homemade choices available. John couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. Although there is only one restaurant in town, it is right next door and the food was very good. I booked my meals there in advance based on John's detailed instructions before I arrived. Overall, one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at.

Our stay was fantastic. The house was perfect! Warm, airy and great views! The house was well equipped and very comfortable. Loved seeing the sheep and often a highland cow walk past! It was a quiet location but easy to get to lots of great spots on the island. The local beach a 15 min walk away was a delight and the Calgary beach only 20 mins drive away was beautiful. Beccy was super helpful from the moment of booking and during our stay. Highly recommend Beccy’s place and the location. Would definitely like to visit again! 🌸

Patricia and Paul are two of the kindest people we have met! They were extremely warm and welcoming. We really felt right at home. They went above and beyond to help make sure we had a nice stay. The room we had was lovely. The view of the garden also. Watching the 9 ducklings in the morning and the 7 adults was heart warming but the red squirrel 🐿️ took the show. What a perfect little stop! The room was clean, larger than expected, and otherwise exactly as described. We even had a lovely view of the marina and Dunstaffnage castle. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot. It’s a few short minutes out of Oban, and we loved getting out of the tourist bustle. The restaurant was clean and well-appointed, the hosts were clear and friendly, and overall everything was great.

Ended up arriving later then anticipated, great communication everything was perfect for when we got there. The room and bathroom were immaculate with gorgeous welcoming communal lounge warm and comfortable with access to everything we needed. Breakfast was sublime including the continental Buffett very high quality produce hosts very welcoming and attentive. This please represents excellent value for money, couldn’t fault anything about this place.

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Yorick's home that has been built with much thought and love. They have done a great job at carving out a safe space, which is further amplified by the vast nature and stillness at the doorstep. Meals using vegetables from the garden with other guests facilitated eclectic discussions and I learned a lot. A great wee get-away.

Robert was very flexible and great to work with. It was a quick stop over for us so we didn’t get a chance to explore the area, but he was available and helpful to answer any questions we had.

Comfy room with stunning views across the marina to Dunstaffnage Castle. The listing really didn’t make the most of the location! Breakfast hamper was a nice bonus. Thanks for a lovely weekend away.

We came in by boat and the accomodation was perfect for our requirements. The packed breakfast was perfect and delicious. A very thoughtful addition to our stay. We will be back.
