The villa was magnificent! It was so atmospheric and charming, breakfast from Carla were so good, it was a really pleasant stay. The room was also really comfortable, with history and a lot of cute details. And also this location .. can’t describe in words how beautiful it was

Silvia's San Croce Terrace was a pleasure. It is easily accessed by bus from Santa Maria Novella station and a short walk to the major attractions and restaurants. We found the apartment to be very clean and well accessorized. Silvia even provided breakfast items such as yogurt, milk, juice and bread for toast. And then to be able to sit on the terrace at the beginning or end of the day was very nice. We highly recommend Silvia's San Croce Terrace.

Wat een heerlijke ontvangst. Maria en Gabriel zijn extra toffe mensen en zelfs Leila een lieve en aanhankelijke hond kwam ons al tegemoet als we aankwamen. Het panorama is adembenemend en zo rustig. De accomodatie heel netjes en al wat er nodig is. Een heerlijk, telkens vers gemaakt ontbijt elke morgen. Een 10 op alle gebied en wij gaan zeker nog terug.

Uno de los mejores alojamientos en que hemos estado. El edificio en un antiguo torreón medieval con jardín con vistas al lago, totalmente reformado y muy cómodo en el interior. La habitación bonita y muy limpia, todo perfecto y muy profesional. Lo mejor de todo, el trato de Mónica, siempre pendiente de que estuviéramos a gusto, nos recogió en la estación, nos dio recomendaciones sobre el pueblo y a la salida nos permitió dejar las maletas hasta la hora de nuestro tren. Los desayunos fantásticos, se adaptó a mis necesidades de comida sin gluten. Muchas gracias por todo, si volvemos a la zona nos alojaremos aquí otra vez sin duda!

Great location and great place to stay. The views from the rooms were amazing.Steven was a great host and gave us good recommendations for local restaurants. The place is very calm and quiet and it was a very enjoyable stay.

Benedetta and her husband were truly wonderful hosts — kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. Their proactive communication and genuine hospitality made everything feel effortless and so much fun. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. We can’t wait to visit them again on our next trip!

Ilaria has been a great responsive host that catered to any and all needs. Would definitely recommend this house/host if you’d like to be in a very central airbnb to all musuems/historic places in firenze

Ambos esposos fueron muy amables, siempre nos sentimos como en casa! La habitación limpia, el baño y las sábanas! A pesar que no hablamos italiano la comunicación fue muy buena! Siempre nos ayudaron en lo que pudieron!

L’établissement est reculé & loin de tout à pied. Vous devez avoir un véhicule .Cependant la vue et l’intérieur des murs en valent le déplacement ! C’est magnifique . La chambre était superbe, le seul bémol est qu’il fallait sortir la nuit dans un corridor pour la toilette. Il y a deux beaux grands salons, foyer, bibliothèque, cuisine avec frigo partagé. Une cour intérieure joliement décorée . Je n’ai pas aimé mon arrivé , seulement après 15:00 prcq la réception est fermée et qu’il n’y a personne. On voulait profiter de la vue et la piscine(pas possible). Le lendemain à 10am on devait déjà être partis on nous l’a repeté 3 fois, c’était comprit la 1 ere fois ! C’est tôt , pour avoir le temps de prendre une douche et déjeuner . Cela nous a beaucoup déplu ! Le piscine bien qu’elle soit ecolo est plus comme un étang où nager avec les grenouille peut être possible. Faites attention après 18:30 si vous avez un problème ,plus personne ne répond ! (Serviettes en location à 5 euro. )

Ottima posizione immerso nella Toscana, camere e aree comuni molto spaziose. Host carinissima e super gentile, sarei rimasto molto di più che una notte onestamente.

The renovated mill was a great place to relax! There was a really nice pool and huge garden as well. The breakfast service was very delicious and varied everyday. The family was really friendly and helpful - definitly would recommend the place :)

I could not recommend Il Segreto more. We had a perfect stay—the room, the view, the food. Every detail is perfection and so thoughtful. The hospitality is incredible. The breakfast and dinner were the best of our entire trip. I’m so grateful I found this gem. Don’t hesitate and stay here. We will we back!!

Beautiful property in an amazing part of Tuscany. Incredible and friendly hosts who were always so happy to help us, all details had been thought of at the property. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on too!

Our stay was absolutely lovely—I only wish we could’ve stayed longer! The area was so peaceful and charming, a perfect escape. Antonella went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was kind enough to drive us into the village for lunch one afternoon since we didn’t have a car, which we really appreciated. The hospitality from her and the other ladies made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and experience authentic Tuscan warmth!

This stay was beyond our dreams! The scenery was breathtaking and the care from the team was the best! They were always kind and helpful when needed. The room was lovely and the gardens where you can sit and relax were a great bonus! The pool was exquisite! Everything here was a 10/10! Highly recommend staying here!

Questo B&B é ideale per chi voglia conoscere la Toscana e voglia viverla al meglio: Daniela e Giampaolo, gli host, sono persone squisite e gentili che ci hanno accolto in un alloggio bellissimo in questa casa storica e preparato una ricca colazione con pietanze tipiche locali, sia dolci che salate composte da formaggi e salumi tipici della tradizione dei dintorni e torte preparate in casa e con marmellate freschissime. Oltre ad ospitarci, ci hanno consigliato tantissimi luoghi da visitare nei dintorni ricchi di storia e di bellezze locali, sia vicine come Loro Ciuffenna che distanti come Arezzo e oltre, con i vari musei, architetture e passeggiate che ci hanno fatto vivere un pezzo di Toscana al meglio. Per noi questo punto é stato importantissimo, sono stati consigli che difficilmente si trovano altrove e la passione con cui Daniela ne parlava ci ha convinto ancora di più a fare queste avventure culturali. Vivamente consigliato a chi voglia una vacanza chill in un'ambiente sereno.

Il soggiorno da Karen e Marco è stato fantastico! Un'oasi di pace immersa nel verde. La casa e il giardino sono bellissimi, curati in ogni dettaglio. I proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa! La camera è accogliente, adatta ad una coppia con un bambino piccolo. Speriamo di tornare in estate per poter sfruttare la bellissima piscina!

Wir haben uns sofort wohl bei Elena und Davide gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist total sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die beiden sind sehr herzliche Menschen und sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Unser Highlight war der private Pasta Kurs bei Elena mit anschließender Verkostung. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft allen wärmsten empfehlen, die einen ruhigen, authentischen italienischen Aufenthalt suchen. Bis zum nächsten Mal, Lucie & Dan

Traveling alone, I found myself less confident and reclusive in my first 2 weeks in Italy. Upon reading reviews, I had a feeling Suzi would snap me out of it. And she DID!! She was so welcoming, made me a delicious dinner the first night, and made me a part of her family for the week. I was even invited to her milestone birthday party with all her lovely friends, and then another joint birthday family dinner at home. She gave me a bunch of awesome recommendations, always asked if I needed anything, and calmed me down when I called her in despair, being lost in a field somewhere, lol! The room was huge and cozy, the shower sooo nice! (I was in the room off the kitchen) Suzi is very intelligent and we had some interesting conversations. Her two dogs Tyra and Gigi stole my heart immediately. I will be back, maybe as a work away! I will never forget your kindness and the remarkable woman you are <3

Il soggiorno a casa di Alvaro sarà indimenticabile, oltre che per l’ottima posizione per visitare tante città, per la bellissima casa, per la quiete e la tranquillità che si respira in questo luogo, sarà indimenticabile per la straordinaria ospitalità di Alvaro e sua moglie che sembrano due amici di vecchia data. Ti aprono le porte della loro casa e del loro cuore, due persone estremamente generose e amichevoli. Siamo stati solo due notti ma non sarei andata più via. La piscina è fantastica ed è possibile utilizzarla a qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte, la colazione è servita in giardino e prenotando si possono fare anche corsi di cucina. Alvaro farà di tutto per non farvi mancare nulla, gestisce anche un ristorante che nei miei giorni di permanenza era chiuso per ferragosto ma che sarà un’ottima scusa per tornare. Sono davvero felice di aver scoperto questo posto. Non fatevi ingannare dalle foto, tutto è assolutamente migliore di quello che sembra!! A prestissimo ♥️

Cara Maria, Grazie mille! We had a wonderful time. Maria is so very kind and her Tuscan home is a dream. If you’re looking for a place to wind down and relax - this is it. It’s also very well situated. Just a few kilometres from Castiglion Fiorentino (excellent food) and Cortona (stunning views). We also took the train from Castiglion Fiorentino to Firenze and spent a whole day there. You do need a car though. Generally just a really good vacation that we can absolutely recommend. Leaving made us really sad. We look very much forward to visiting again.

Very family friendly place especially if you have small children they will enjoy the stay. There are some animals, big space to play. The host Giulia and Nathan were great host, very friendly and so accomodative. The place was specious enough, very clean and had all you need even for self catering. It's not far from gubbio if you hope to visit historic places in gubbio and around. Make sure to get yourself the hand balm, it's amazing. Try the honey too. My family is looking forward to visit butterflies rest again soon.

Gaia and Nicolo were so kind and gave us a very warm welcome. We really enjoyed their delicious dinner and relaxing in their beautiful quiet garden with a stunning view over the Tuscany landscape. The room and bathroom were impeccable. We definitely recommend to stay there!
