House holiday rentals in Ardèche

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Great stay at Aeric and Caroline's! Incredible farmhouse in a typical Ardeche setting. Eric and his son were very nice and we would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. We loved it.

The workshop is absolutely lovely! Huge windows that make you feel like you are in nature. Bright, cozy, quiet, comfortable, serene and all the amenities. Really cool design. Great hike only 10 minutes away to Les Trois Moulins. Best of all our Yolene, our wonderful and friendly host!

Frédérique listened to our needs. The place is beautiful, located close to places to visit. The house is typical of the region, offering all comforts. The pool, pleasant, for cooling off. A place close to everything, but quiet. We had a relaxing vacation, thanks to the wonderful garden.

We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

Spacious cottage, very well equipped and decorated, beautiful estate, a shame the weather did not allow us to use the beautiful pool. The videos made by Emma to facilitate our arrival were clear and accurate hence a smooth arrival. The books available to us were particularly appreciated by my mom and our dog was able to participate in our stay!!!! since here dogs are allowed!!! Very good stay, I would highly recommend .

Great stay with friends or small and large children had a great time! Very beautiful spaces, charm and taste! We could easily have stayed there the whole stay, we feel so good in this house! Very nice and safe pool for children, we enjoyed it 😃😃

Very welcoming, friendly and attentive hosts. Nelson, an adorable golden retriever. The pool is really a plus. Very quiet and very cozy place. The sharing platter they offer is a treat, as well as the homemade olive oil. We recommend this address. We'll be back.

Clothildes place is absolutely beautiful. very spacious, high ceilings, both bedrooms are huge. all decorated it a very tastefully way. we stayed there with our 2 kids, it fits 6 people with a bed in the attic. The village is tiny, there is 1 restaurant 5 min walk from the house which was very good. some of most beautiful towns are 3-20km drive away. the pool is small but was sufficient for kids and us to cool down in. The guide which Clothilde prepared was one of the best I have seen, we took it with us everywhere we went. book your restaurants in advance as those towns are small and most of the places run 1 service for lunch and dinner. Clothilde was an amazing host, handy where needed otherwise we were left to us. highly recommend this place!

Idyllic stay, an immersion in nature, in a very comfortable accommodation, very beautiful! and sublime walks to do nearby; healing assured!

We stayed 3 nights in Agnès' accommodation. We arrived in a beautiful village with all-stone houses, and the icing on the cake was a castle right next door. The village is very quiet and the accommodation very welcoming and very clean. We did not meet Agnès but she is a super responsive host and we were touched by the little touches on our arrival.

We had a great stay at Myriam and Yves's. Everything was perfect. Already the welcome: they are both adorable, very caring. The house they renovated themselves is exceptional. Both very isolated, in a remarkable setting, and very functional. There was really nothing missing. We were able to go hiking from the cottage. We highly recommend this cottage. A big thank you to Myriam and Yves for all the attention and also for the strawberry jam.

This place is beautiful and is set in a splendid setting. It's total calm. There are very nice hikes to do in the area. We came at a time when it wasn't very hot with a lot of rain. The heating system is a small slow-burning wood burning stove that we had to provide with wood throughout our stay in order to warm up the space and chase humidity. But this stay was a unique experience.

We had a very warm welcome from Valerie.😊 Everything was spotless and clean. The bedroom and kitchen are very large and functional. The terrace where we ate every day is sheltered and spacious. The place is very quiet and close to many tourist spots. Important note before booking: The toilets and shower room, very clean and functional, are on the lower floor, The staircase has a steep slope but is secured by a handrail on each side. People with severe mobility problems may be inconvenienced. I recommend this very pleasant place.

Excellent stay at Laura and François's, with lots of proposals for activities, restaurant addresses, walking plans etc. We recommend it!! Ideal for holidays to recharge and cut off the world 🧘‍♀️

We had a great time at Julie and Damien's! We were looking for a sweet moment for two, and Julie and Damien's haven of peace lent itself perfectly to it! We spent the evening by the fire, slept in total calm and the October morning atmosphere completed our need for a cocoon weekend. Julie is very welcoming and adorable! Thank you thank you for the welcome and small touches. If you want to spend a quiet moment in the heart of nature, go for it! And bonus, the road to get to Julie and Damien's is sublime!

We had a great time at Claude's place. The house is very well-equipped, everything is thought out for the comfort of travelers (high quality bedding). It's best to have a vehicle to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the outdoors as much as we wanted, due to the capricious weather and voracious mosquitoes. Claude is really a real plus in this rental, very welcoming, good advice, while remaining discreet, which allows you to enjoy the stay in peace. The small touches (bottle of rosé, olives from the garden) made us very happy and were more than appreciated. We highly recommend this listing!

What a beautiful home and location. The house is in a cluster of stone homes in this spectacular hill town. Cobblestone paths, beautiful gardens and ancient architecture and history. Pierre was helpful in carting our suitcases through what looks like a Harry Potter village up to our very modern, comfortable house. A unique Provence experience.

Had a great leave! A very nice house with everything you need! Nathalie ne dominique is always there for their guests. Very nice domain and very well maintained. There is air conditioning on the lower floor and upstairs there are very good fans ready. There are shutters to keep the freshest in the house. Very smooth communication, very nice! pool was very ok, enough sun loungers, extra refrigerator, freezer..... thank you dominique and nathalie for the pleasant stay!

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

My stay went very well in a very small beautiful village, isolated and rocked by the permanent music of the Thines river in the distance. From the accommodation, the breathtaking view of this Ardèche valley gives all its charm and character to this experience. A big thank you to Estelle for her clear explanations, for the quality of the accommodation which is well equipped and for the comfortable bedding (because let's never forget that it's also for (good) sleep that we are there :) )

Every little thing was perfection! The space was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Located on a country road, it was quiet and private. . Lovely farmhouse with antique details, yet modern and light. Jessie and Andy are superb hosts and responded to all questions and requests quickly. Such a lovely family with the 2 girls and two pups—fell completely in love with Tya, an English Springer Spaniel. Great location to visit all the sweet towns and villages of Provence. Would go back in a New York minute!
