Charming wood and stone thatched cottage nestled on the South slopes of Mont Mézenc, near Gerbier de Jonc (where the source of the Loire river is located), in the Borée district of Ardèche, 8 mins from the ski resort of Les Estables. An outstanding location!
“The thatched cottage is really very cute, there is indeed all that is necessary, and the little wooden corner to sit on I loved it, the view is magnificent, it feels really really good ... I did not understand that there was a house next door but it is not disturbing because the spaces are well differentiated.”
“Marie's cabin delighted us! We are very happy with the welcome from Marie and Yves, and the whole service. They paid a welcome attention to the finishes of the cabin (rare point in the airbnb that we visited it must be said), it is a beautiful work of construction, the decor is thought with taste, everything is practical, the bed is comfortable, it's very clean, good privacy in the cabin as on the terrace: you feel very quickly at home, a good job has been done on the atmosphere of the place. Bravo also for breakfast, simple (croissant, fruit juice, jam and yogurt) but delicious: the products are of excellent quality and seem to be chosen and prepared with care.”
La petite Lauze est une maison charmante, au calme dans la campagne provençale avec une vue imprenable sur les environs.
“A great stay in this month of February where we were able to benefit from a very friendly welcome and a perfectly clean, tasteful, well heated house (underfloor heating, radiators, fireplace…), with a superb view, all in a very quiet environment, close to everything (shops within 10 min by car, walks directly accessible from the house).”
