Holiday rentals with a kayak in Aquitaine

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful with fantastic views. The rooms are all large and extremely comfortable. We stayed as a large group and the property had all the amenities we needed and plenty of space for us to socialise in. Our real stand out was how helpful Inés was during our stay. She was always on hand for any questions and couldn’t have been more helpful and flexible for us. Easily the best host we’ve had on Airbnb!

A little cocoon close to the lake. Cosi, clean, it's very nice to spend a few days with the family. Quiet environment, while being close to the city center. Ana, our host, is very attentive to make the stay as pleasant and simple as possible. I recommend it and will come back to that.

Beautiful wooden siding house typical of the pool on two floors with 3 large tastefully decorated bedrooms on the ground floor including one with shower room and a shared shower room and toilet. The upstairs living space is ultra comfortable and cozy with views of the canopy and pretty wooden terrace. Complete kitchen equipment and utensils. It felt like home. One of the best AIRBNB we've done! The place is in a very quiet area and close to the center of the village of Ares and the oyster port where you can taste seafood and sip a wonderful between two fresh seas. Mind to the amateur 😉

It was a beautiful place to stay. The beds were good and everything you needed for the stay was there. The bathroom needs an update but the shower was good. The garden and pool were phantastic. The big fridge was a plus. We had a wonderful stay.

an excellent stay in this beautiful accommodation, small house arranged with great taste, very well equipped, nothing was missing. Very nice welcome from Hervé and Véronique, extremely friendly, the attention on arrival to have bottles of fresh water and beer were very appreciable. and what about the shared pool, pure happiness. the neighborhood is quiet and close to everything. an address to keep safe, go there with your eyes closed. Perfect house for a large extended family group. Cannot say enough about how amazing this house is. Beautiful outdoor and indoor space including tables large enough for big groups to dine. Kitchen very well equipped. Utility room with pool towels, washing machine etc. We had some excellent weather and spent lots of time around the pool. Outdoor space including pool area truly excellent with inflatables, sun chairs, patio, gardens etc. Enough bedrooms for many guests, quiet, good Aircon if needed, versatile accomodation. The games room was a big hit on a rainy day! Food: All Monsegur- Salle a Manger excellent dinner for large groups. Chocolatine - local amazing bakery Local market (Friday AM) for local quality produce Activities - The Naked Vingeron; wine tasting and tour of the vineyard (English) Amanda and David were excellent hosts. Also Des-chênes-toi Aventure Adventure Park which is 5 mins drive and absolutely incredible! Overall such a special stay, thank you!

With Hélène we found ourselves very well kept. You can tell he likes us to enjoy this little paradise. It has a lot of charm and we had fun and special family days. Be prepared to live in the nature by the river but with plenty of comfort. It's beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.

Very responsive to messages and flexible on arrival and departure times. The place is incredible, immersion in nature is guaranteed. The accommodation is spacious and well-equipped. My friends and I had a great weekend! I recommend it!

A charming accommodation on the banks of the Charente with access to water, which is very useful in hot weather. The house is very nice and well-equipped. The spacious rooms are large and bright with good bedding. The kitchen is well-equipped (the only thing missing was wine glasses, which we couldn't find, and some extra cutlery would be nice). John also sent messages that were kind, welcoming and full of good advice. Location is great for visiting. I'd recommend it without a second thought.

holiday experience was great from start to finish very helpful hosts and set in a very scenic area which was close to the major attractions in the area whether you wanted to explore grottos or chateaus / castles or scenic towns all were within easy reach. welcomed and shown around the property and shown and explained all we needed to know , the use of bikes - bike path right next to property close to villages of les Eyzies and le Bugue 2 person kayak right next to river Vezere - very relaxing paddle on the river not to be missed out. pool area was great and heated with lovely gardens and lots of areas to sit with your morning coffee badminton net and rackets supplied your own barbecue area and every utensil for barbecue or kitchen was supplied first experience with air bnb and the hosts went above and beyond what we expected very pleased many thanks for having us David & Caroline

Very good hosting! Emilie and her husband are very understanding and flexible:) Discreet but always available if needed. We had a lovely time despite winter weather ❄️ I recommend it! Attention a lot of single beds but possibility to paste them:)

We had a great extended weekend in this charming cabin! As described, it is not a luxury chalet but a peaceful haven with very simple amenities ideal for a couple. The cabin is in the host's garden but we were alone. Small downside for the garden that seems a little abandoned with a lot of things lying around but it didn't bother us. Marcelle provided us with sheets, towels and duvets although the listing mentioned that you had to provide your own bed linen so it's a good surprise! A small sofa in the living room would be welcome. Thanks again!
