House holiday rentals in Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley

This spacious home was absolutely beautiful for our stay! We especially appreciated the amenities that the home provided. Specifically, the pool and vast dining spaces were a perfect match for our large family. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, central to the attractions we wanted to see including downtown San Fransisco and the Winchester house. The homeowner was great with communication throughout the booking and check in/out process. Overall, we had a lovely stay in this gorgeous home.

Wonderful host and an ideal place in a very quiet neighborhood with friendly and helpful neighbors. The provided area guides and home instructions were extremely helpful and the provided beach supplies were ideal to keep our personal packing nice and light! Would definitely stay here again ⛱️👍🌊

This is a unique, spacious, comfortable, beautiful, clean and fun place to stay. We had eight people in our group — four kids (3rd grader to 8th grader) and four adults (two couples). So much space to spread out, relax, read, play games, socialize, cook, eat, work (if needed), swim, soak in the hot tub, and just explore the property and the surrounding area. We hope to be back. Thank you to our hosts for sharing this place — and for being so welcoming and also responsive if we had a question.

The house was great for our family stay. Lots of space, all on one level, and beautiful outdoor space. We travelled with our kids and they had a great time in the pool :) Note there is extra cost if you want the pool to be heated. Thanks for a great stay!

It was beautiful, private, and a hidden gem! We had lots of fun and enjoyed all the views throughout the house. The house is even better than the pictures. We had our 2 boys, had plenty to do between the beach, books, basketball, spa, ping pong, and games! We definitely recommend and would go back! Not to mention I love artichokes and this house is located in artichoke city!! So amazing!! 10/10 you won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful place in a wonderful environment. We had an excellent time with the kids, very nice pool, beaches close by and in the middle of the nice green hills of California

The house was awesome, having everything we needed, plus some nice extra touches like pool toys and snacks for a movie night. The only downside was that they had instructions to not turn the ac down past 72 and it was a very hot weekend, the house held onto a lot of heat and the bedrooms were very warm. The pool and spa were great, and we loved hanging out in the outdoor space.

As mentioned by others, the place is super comfortable, has a lot of amenities and is super close to the boardwalk and the downtown area. However, what really stood out to us was the host’s hospitality. They were super accommodating when we mentioned we’d be getting to Santa Cruz a little early and if we could use the bikes to go cruise around in the meantime. We only stayed for one night, but were able to enjoy a full day of fun because of that. We rode to Brommer park, played pickleball, went back to check in, headed out to eat, walked around and then went back to enjoy the spa and ping pong table. The whole house was spacious and the beds were super comfortable. Definitely recommend David’s place.

We loved staying at Kim's beautiful property. The apartment was clean, comfortable and cozy. Had everything we needed, and the location was amazing. Kim has clearly put alot of effort and love into creating a beautiful, artistic and peaceful retreat. You can make reservations for lunch at the gorgeous Haute Enchilada. And it was a short walk from a gorgeous beach and the harbour. We would happily move in permanently!

We felt right at home and had everything we needed for the best weekend. Our favorite part about the house was being able to walk to the beach in just 3 minutes with coffee, pizza and pie right there on her fingertips beautiful location

Ramon was a great responsive host. He accommodated our early check in request. The home was clean and spacious for us seven adults. Kitchen was equipped with all that you need. Beds were extremely comfortable. My husband and I stayed in three different hotels as we traveled from San Francisco to Monterey to Carmel, and these were the best beds. We were well rested throughout our stay. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Great water pressure. Washer and dryer was a blessing to have midway of our trip. There’s a huge backyard with two sitting areas. Neighborhood is quiet. I would highly recommend this property for your Gilroy stay.

Our stay at Lauren’s house was amazing The house is in a perfect location near the beach and nearby cafes and small bars. Even a Whole Foods store is within walking distance. The house has everything you need to cook, chill, and simply unwind. We would stay at Lauren again anytime and hope to do so again in the near future.

We absolutely LOVED our stay!! Everything was perfect. It was exactly as described…actually it was better! The house was spacious, clean, cozy, and super close to the beach! We loved getting coffee in the morning and walking the beach, pizza by the slice for lunch and delicious restaurants close by for dinner. We will never stay anywhere else when we visit the area. Thank you so much for being such an incredible host!

Fabulous place. Would highly recommend to everyone. Dominique provides everything you could need and is always on hand to answer questions. The place is gorgeous and perfectly located. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Santa Cruz!

We had such a nice time at sue’s and laurels place felt so comfortable and we felt like we were at home!! The house is very well stocked and didn’t feel empty like so many other rentals. Highly highly recommend! Our dog absolutely loved the back yard and had so much fun running around. This is such an amazing house for dogs. One thing to note is if you have an escape artist dog (like we do) the back gate is a bit shorter. We had no issues at all it’s just something to keep an eye out for!

Amazing estate with breathtaking views. Beautiful interior with high vaulted ceilings making you feel you are inside a castle. Everone in our group of 10 very much enjoyed our stay. Wished we could have stayed longer than a weekend. Great and responsive host. Thank you Andrey!

We had a great time staying at this property. We decided to take a last minute trip with family and chose a perfect getaway spot between Monterey and Santa Cruz. The property was exactly as shown in the pictures and everything was extremely neat and clean. They even went above and beyond in having some toys for the kids and one of the bedrooms had a crib for ease with families. Overall, would definitely book this property again!

The stay was amazing and the host gave amazing recommendations!

We were amazed at how peaceful and retreat-like Chris's place was... the full panel of windows looking out onto magnificent redwoods (pretty sure) was a delight. The neighborhood was quiet, super easy to park in front, easy access with coded entry. Fancy shower with 3 choices (rain, hand held etc), controls for temp in each room so me and my hubby could at times be at our very different temp preferences. My husband's favorite part was going out on the deck with his morning coffee, facing a forested canyon, and having time to write and think. One other important note... although we felt "away and peaceful", we were MUCH closer to everything than we thought. Just 10 min to beach, 15 to downtown or UCSC campus, and 20-25 to Henry Cowell State Redwoods. It is an ideal location, and a really great price, considering you would pay the same for a nicer hotel, without the lovely view, private deck, kitchen, etc. We will be back! ps, Chris was very responsive to my questions too!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! If you need a quiet, secluded, spacious place to stay then this farmhouse style home is the perfect find. We loved the location and the host was incredible wonderful and helpful. If we are back in town, we would gladly stay here again!
