Beach house holiday rentals in Aptos

The location was even better than expected with a 2-3 min walk to Capitola village. The place is smaller, but you don’t feel it at all! Very well laid out and use of space everywhere! Outdoor front and back are amazing. Bonus to find a cart and a few chairs and cooler in the shed. To take to the beach. The only thing missing was something to paddle on the river and maybe a few more games or cards. The place is super clean, very cute and I would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay. I love to cook and this place was great for that. Definitely one of the better equipped kitchens I’ve ever found at an Air BnB. Both Keurig and traditional drip coffee makers, great stove top with griddle incorporated, and my favorite, the LUXURY level Waffle Iron (I might have to get one!). Can’t think of any “tool” that we wanted while cooking that I couldn’t find. Location is great wrt surfing as several of our family enjoy. Very impressed to see wet suits in the supply room, although I guess that’s got to be a standard for the West coast (most of my beach time has always been in south Florida, so no comparison there). The only thing I can critique - the easiest exit from the home to the beach goes through the bathroom of the lowest level of the house. Wasn’t a major issue, but we had one day where shower timing and beach access needs were not coordinated. Outdoor stairs are right outside unit but ya gotta remember the key!

The place is great. Very practical outdoor bbq and dining area. Good utensils for barbecue. Everything was very clean and the kids were fascinated by the games available for them to play. All great!

Liz’s rental exceeded expectations. It felt very cozy, providing that beach home feeling. The beach was a quick stroll away, and it is dog friendly! My pup and I very much enjoyed our time at Liz’s spot. Thank you for relaxing vacation Liz!

Beautiful location and beautiful home. Nice kitchen, living room, very spacious. The private parking spot was a fantastic bonus so close to the village.

Had a wonderful and comfortable stay with 2 kids, 4 adults, and a dog. Could not be more convenient with the beach across the street and a market a short walk away. Loved the neighborhood feel to the beach and the beach market made things even more convenient. The road noise is significant but the provided white noise machines were a help. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our 3 day stay here! We spent many hours sitting by the large windows reading while looking out into the ocean and seeing pelicans fly by. Having beach access just by the unit was amazing. The water was cold but it didn’t stop us from wading in to hunt for sea shells and sand dollars. The location is very remote but that was exactly what we wanted. Even though the unit is part of a larger condominium community, we were never disrupted by loud noises or boisterous neighbors. We slept very well and felt completely safe. It was difficult to leave and we stayed till the very last moment we had to leave to check out in time. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful location. House is amazing. One afternoon a family of 3 owls were resting on the house roof. We saw a dolpine swim by, courtesy of the excellent binoculars provided by the house owners and lots of wildlife in the really colourful sand dunes. Very happy to recommend.

The heated pool and hot tub were the focus of this very successful vacation. There were 8 of us: a family of 4 from Oakland, (Mama, Papa, girl 7, girl 3), from Chicago - a couple 37 & 40, and from Martha's Vineyard, us, 75 & 79. The 3 bathrooms were great, and the kitchen was well equipped. We ordered out mostly, from Hawaiian and Mexican restaurants. We spent a day on the boardwalk, and another on the trail at Wilder Ranch, where cliffs overlook ledges with MANY sunning sea lions, The house is easy walking distance from a couple of beaches. During our winter stay, there were high tides, wind and surf warnings. The views were spectacular. Also instructive. The father took his daughters an early morning walk; they saw a woman swept from the beach across the pavement. She had bloody knees, but was otherwise fine, but she and her two equally insane friends came off the beach. I hope the girls will remember this vivid lesson when they grow up to be invulnerable teenagers. Doubt it.

Fantastic location and home for a family get-away. Much to see and do on site and in the local area. The home is very comfortable and welcoming with all the amenities you might need and more. Can’t wait to book again!

This is a beautifully kept home that accommodated all the needs of our trip. Rooms are very spacious and plenty of restrooms for everyone. Very peaceful location and host was great at communicating. We had a very pleasant stay.

My 17 year-old daughter found this AirBnb and, as usual, her taste was spot on. The house reminded us of the Eichler we stayed in Palm Springs: light, airy, and well appointed. I loved the bedroom with the low, beamed ceilings, and it was fun borrowing the Schwin to bike to the VW car show. My daughter and her friends enjoyed the hot tub and making s’mores. Nova is a lovely street and close to everything - the only slight drawback is common neighborhood noise like we get at home (sanders, lawn mowers) but that’s just par for the course and a very narrow driveway which was tricky to get the cans around (we checked out on a Sunday). We hope to return soon to this lovely home!! We felt cozy and we all slept well. Thanks for hosting us.

Spacious, clean home with all the amenities! Only steps to the water. (The closest ocean view is a steep climb, you can walk a couple blocks to the sandy beach) Christina was incredibly friendly and responsive!

Loved our stay there ! Perfect getaway with kids - beach is minutes away, view from the deck and rec room is amazing! We’ll set up that parents can have their space and kids as well. Small things (eg plenty of sparkling water, extra beach bags) made the place feel like home. We will be back!

The location of John's place was awesome - was able to walk to the beach, get ice cream, and coffee in the morning. Right next to the freeway, so it was super quick and easy to travel to other places nearby, like Santa Cruz.

This is my second year renting. Kim’s place works well for my little family. We loved access to boogie boards. Just perfect for my 6 year old granddaughter who tried it for the first time. Also used a couple of beach chairs. I don’t remember them at my past stay.

Great place and great location. The house has a great vibe and comfortable accommodations. Host keeps an office on site, but it’s fully separate from the house and we never noticed her.
