Lake house holiday rentals in Apple Valley

Amazing place and host was incredible to work with. We had 3 families staying on this stay and everyone had plenty of space and the resort is absolutely amazing! Thank you for such a great time in a great location! well worth every penny!

The house is wonderful! Beautiful views, well equipped kitchen, & plenty of room to spread out. The pictures don’t do the house justice! We all enjoyed being by the beautiful water and our kids loved paddle boarding & kayaking. The entire property is extremely peaceful. It was fun to watch the goose family (although the goose mess did make the swimming dock unusable, but I don’t think there much you can do about that!) We also enjoyed visits from 2 sweet dogs from down the road. Great place to stay & we would easily stay again!

The house is possibly more beautiful and well decorated in person than it is even in the photos. The red rock cliffs across the street are stunning, and it is a super quiet neighborhood. The windows were amazing, and we enjoyed watching the snow from inside on the one stormy day we had. The location made for relatively easy (for me, who likes to drive) access to Zion and Bryce National Parks, Antelope Canyon (we took a great tour of Lower Antelope Canyon), Horseshoe Bend (perfect to combine with Antelope), and very convenient for the surprisingly scenic and interesting Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. We also took an amazing guided tour of Monument Valley on our way to Moab, where the second half of our vacation took place. The three bedrooms were super spacious, and all had TVs and step-in showers, which is important if you travel with someone who is mobility challenged like we do. Our bathroom was a full ADA shower that may have been bigger than my first apartment! The kitchen was comfortable and very well stocked with basic cooking and serving implements (even a potato masher!), which was great, since we always cook most of our own meals. The BBQ also was fully functional. My wife made full use of the exercise area, despite it being in the 20s and 30s while we were there. Kanab was really a very cute town, and I was surprised how well stocked their grocery stores were, but if you need hard alcohol, you'll need to travel just a few miles to Fredonia, AZ to buy a bottle of anything other than beer or wine. Jaymie was great and responsive, and helped us with a creative solution to a problem the first night. The wi-fi was blazing fast, and allowed streaming on the big screen TV and working on laptops simultaneously flawlessly. The biggest downside is that while the listing indicates it has "heating" and a "fireplace", the fireplace appears to be entirely decorative (pretty lights, though, I guess?), despite the guest book claiming that it is the main heating source for the house. The actual heating source for the house, was the space heaters in each room, but my mother-in-law had to keep moving hers from her room to the living room to keep from freezing to death, as the temps outside were in the 20s and 30s during our stay. Converting the decorative fireplace into a functional propane or even electrical heating fireplace would have improved the experience immensely. That said, my wife and I are much more cold-tolerant, and survived well with the space heaters and extra blankets provided. The other semi-oddity is that despite having three master bedrooms, suggesting six or more guests are expected, there was only seating downstairs for four, without moving other chairs into the room (something the owners discourage). I'd recommend they change the seating arrangement to allow six to sit down there, but we made do. Upstairs had seating for six, but the downstairs was the more obvious gathering space. All in all, we would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to others, with the caveats above.

Stayed here on our honeymoon. Had a Great time at Brian’s Home. Our favorite place was the in home theater. Brian was responsive and attentive to our needs.

Great place. Very clean and comfy. Loved the pickleball courts. Communication was pretty good. Spoke with management about there not being any AC upstairs. They sent someone to take a look the next day but they couldn’t figure it out and then we never heard from them again. Luckily it wasn’t unbearable up there but it got pretty warm. Other than that the place was great and we’d stay there again. Loved that we were able to have our little dog with us at such a nice place.

Great place. Will definitely stay here again. Clean. Great location. Exactly as described. The hosts are great at communicating. Check in and check out was easy.

Excellent host and very helpful. If you are an outdoors person, this place is for you. Lots of activities from four wheeling to golf to boating.

Our house at Sand Hollow was one of the nicest vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed at. It was the perfect place for our group of 13 adults and was a great location for our trip to Zion National Park, as it was only 35-40 minutes from Zion. I would highly recommend Sand Hollow if you are looking for a place near Zion.

To call this a massive home is not an overstatement. It was delightfully open and spacious. The huge bunk room with 12 queen beds allowed all of the grandkids to stay in the same rooms. The other 5 bedrooms were very comfortable. The common areas were lovely with lots of seating. The home is across the street from the pickleball courts and around the corner from the shared community pool. The location is just minutes from Zion’s Nat’l Park, Quail Creek Reservoir, Sand Hollow, golf courses and St. George itself. It is exactly as described. Gary and staff were extremely responsive and proactively helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Hollywood Mansion! I can’t say enough great things about this rental. The host, Sand Hollow, was amazing! I have never stayed anywhere where I was able to reach out with a question and get a response immediately, even late at night, but Sand Hollow did! We paid to have the pool heated, and they went above and beyond to help with the few issues that arose. The second day the pool stopped heating and wouldn’t start again. They contacted the owner and he came over to check it. It was a new pool but it turned out the heating element was bad. He had someone come by that day to fix it! I was amazed at the service that was provided to us! The house was beautiful! Our grandkids had so much fun they were crying when it was time to leave. Lots of room, comfortable beds, great gathering areas, best pool ever! (I was worried about pool access and safety for kids but there was 1 door to the pool and the lock was difficult to unlock even for the adults.)

Great house love tje amount of space and all the grest amenities. Hot tub was great plenty of parking. Clean and amazing location to the pickle ball and lagoon. Would definitely stay here again.

Just an all around great place to stay! Host was very responsive and quick to get back to us for anything. The place was very clean and we felt right at home. Good location that was quiet and peaceful. If I had one complaint it would be that they didnt have any seasoning for cooking. Most places at least have salt and pepper but they didnt. To be fair, I never reached out to the host about this because it was simply salt and pepper. We went to the store and bought some, it’s just odd that they didnt have any there.

It was such a beautiful stay. The home was clean and very roomie. I can't wait to go back.

We had to get instructions for using the swimming pool, but the response was very quick. Very nice accommodations, and the extra facilities were great. All the kids had a terrific time. Wonderful place for a large group of people.

The home was very clean with plenty of kitchen items to cook lunches and dinners as a family. Outdoor grill was amazing to use and eat outside. Pool was clean and refreshing. The house is very large and comfortably fit our family of 6. Great location-super close to Zion National Park. Strongly recommend for those who are visiting and wanting to explore the local area!

The place was in a great location, exactly as described and in a very beautiful desert location. Jay was super responsive and flexible with everything we asked about. For example on the first night the sprinklers came on at 2am and were spraying the windows rather hard, waking people up. We asked about it in the morning and they had someone over that day to adjust them. Overall loved the house and it was the perfect size for our family as everyone had a room and the space they needed. Thank you for a wonderful place!

Great place to stay, perfect place to have a few friends over, things are nice and clean, well organized, and plenty of room. Enjoyed every minute I was there, looking forward to my next stay!
