Holiday rentals with a patio in Appenzell Ausserrhoden

Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr Willkommen gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und freundlich. Wir haben uns immer wieder miteinander ausgetauscht. Die Kommunikation war super. Die Ausstattung in der Wohnung ist top. Zum Kochen ist alles vorhanden. Viele liebevolle Details bei der Einrichtung. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren zwei Wochen mit unserem 7-Monate alten Hund dort und sehr zufrieden. Super schönes Apartment mit fantastischem Pool und großem Garten (geteilt mit den Eigentümern und restlichen Hausbewohnern), wo man hervorragend zur Ruhe kommen kann. Gute Lage für Wanderungen in der Umgebung und Ausflüge nach Österreich, Liechtenstein oder sogar Bayern. Die Gastgeber sind hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar, falls man mal etwas wissen muss. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen 🙏🏻

Roger’s place is an absolute hidden gem! The place was impeccably clean and had everything I needed, and more. It’s located in a peaceful and beautiful area at a relatively higher altitude, offering amazing views from all sides. The sunsets every night were especially dreamy. We felt lucky to have found this place and definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys the beauty of Appenzell. Thanks, Roger!

Die Wohnung ist sauber, gut erreichbar und hat alles was man braucht. Ich komme gerne wieder. Sehr geschätzt habe ich die ruhige Lage und den freundlichen Kontakt mit Fredy.

We were a group of 7 and had a truly wonderful stay! The accommodation is nestled in a peaceful and stunning setting, just 10 minutes by car from the charming village of Appenzell. Accommodation matched the description perfectly and exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. Werner and his wife are both genuine, kind, and incredibly helpful. They were very polite and made us feel right at home. Werner was also a very responsive host and provided us with excellent hiking recommendations, which added so much to our experience. The area offers amazing hikes and beautiful nature all around. Overall, a fantastic stay with warm, welcoming hosts. We would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy nature with rustic Swiss charm!

Ich war mit einer Freundin und meinem Hund in Valdenias Wohnung. Es ist traumhaft. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was es braucht und sehr sauber und persönlich eingerichtet. Der Garten ist riesig und ein Traum. Gepflegt und mediterran. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die kleinen Gesten wie frische Eier und ein Hundebett sind sehr aufmerksam. Es ist rundum stimmig. Vielen Dank.

Das Ferienhaus liegt idyllisch an einem kleinen Weinberg. Bei schönem Wetter hat meine tolle Sicht ins Tal. Es gibt einige Einkaufmöglichkeiten und einen kleinen Bäcker in der Nähe. Von Marbach aus, kann man auch viele Ausflugsziele erreichen.

Das Haus war wie auf den Fotos, wunderschön und die Räume und Badezimmer waren sehr sauber. Das ganze Haus ist sehr schön renoviert und eigerichtet. Leider war das Geschirr und Besteck bei unserer Ankunft schmutzig und die 2 Bratpfannen waren so verkratzt, dass wir sie nicht mehr gebrauchen konnten. Der schriftliche Kontakt mit Johannes war freundlich und proaktiv. Die Lage des Hauses ist toll. Man ist schnell mit dem Auto in Appenzell und zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten bei der Luftseilbahn die auf den hohen Kasten führt.

This place is truly wonderful. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday stay. Very clean with modern amenities where needed. Beautiful decorations of historic pieces and local furnishings. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Appenzell and short drive to St.Gallen. The host is also great to work with. She is very kind, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay!

We've spent 5 nights in Nicole's house with our friends, 4 couples alltogether. It is a huge house, there are rooms everywhere. It reminded us the house from "Home Alone" :) We really liked it. Though the guests must clean the house before they leave - everything was clean, nice and comfortable. The kitchen had a lot of accessories which we appreciated a lot as we love to cook. They have everything you would need for a great vacation, we especially liked the premium furniture, grill and cooking equipment and the large fridge. You can also find gorgeous surrounding, fields, forests, ruins and obviously cows and goats around the house. Ideal to have some new animal friends :) The only strange thing was that the house seems to be Nicole's family home which they rent out for the summer so they have their stuff in the cabinets, images on the wall. If you are used to stay in apartments, it can be unusual for the first time. Anyway, it was a great experience, thanks Nicole for having us!

Fantastic place and experience where to stay. Very authentic and peaceful! The Host is very friendly and easy communication!

We had a lovely family week in this cottage. It is small, but lovely small and it makes you feel right at home. Garden is beautiful, with stream cutting right through. It has two terraces, wood fired grill and lovely quite location away from neighbours. Location is superb as well to discover Lake Constance. Thank you.

We hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad, hoewel we niet rechtstreeks contact hadden met Jana, was alles super goed georganiseerd en gedocumenteerd. Het huis is heel gezellig, we sliepen er alle vier als een roos. Rond het huis veel vogels en zelfs een vos die van het bronnetje bij het huis kwam drinken en ons niet schuwde. Er lag hout klaar om een vuur te maken, zowel buiten als binnen. Een ideale plek om tot rust te komen.

War zum Sportlichen Event in Rapperswil. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe vom Bahnhof, in die man in alle Richtungen fahren kann. Optimal. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Hatte alles gepasst .Danke ,Jana und noch viele nette Gäste.

Experience was very amazing! The hosts provided an abundance of information and instructions that were very clear and translated! The apartment has an amazing view of the mountains and very easy access to the lake and restaurant nearby. The apartment was really clean and well put together. The color scheme and furniture of the apartment were very well chosen by the hosts and really felt homey. The only issue was that we didn’t stay longer!

Famille très accueillant! Le logement était Superbe, une décoration très agréable tout était extrêmement propre à mon arrivée et pour mes déplacements vue que je dormais pendant la Journée je ne pouvais pas trouver mieux que ça! Très paisible! En résumé c’était un excellent séjour! Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Wunderschöne Gegend und die Bergbahn gleich in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist top und bietet viel Platz. Nicole hat uns super begleitet und war stets auf Empfang bei Bedarf. Das Restaurant Marina ist nur 4 Gehminuten entfernt und bietet feine Gerichte, wenn man mal nicht kochen möchte. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Merci liebe Nicole.

Käthis Wohnung ist wunderschön und traumhaft gelegen. Der Blick ist einzigartig. Von dort kann man toll wandern gehen. Direkt unter der Wohnung am Hang ist fussläufig ein schönes Gasthaus, wo man gut essen kann. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Käthi und ihre Familie waren sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had a lovely stay here and it was a great spot to explore the Heidiland area from. The local area had great views, parks, and restaurants. We were also able to day trip to Liechtenstein and Austria! We booked this on somewhat short notice as our plans had changed, but the host was flexible and able to get us in to the property the next day. Easy to work with and very responsive.

Super tolle Unterkunft, und sehr nette Gastgeberin! Die Unterkunft entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und es fehlt an nichts. Sollte doch einmal eine Frage oder ein Anliegen aufkommen, ist die Gastgeberin schnell erreichbar und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Jederzeit wieder!

This accommodation was gorgeous and comfortable, and right near the waterfront. The entire place was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. There were nice hiking and walking areas nearby. It was peaceful and quiet during our stay and we felt right at home. A big thank you to our host, Esther, for being very responsive and making our first stay as easy as possible!
