Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Appenzell Ausserrhoden

Markus hosted me excellently and handled every minuscule need and want with such ease and friendliness. He allowed privacy and knew exactly when to check in without any sense of invasiveness. The accommodation was neat and perfect for its price and for people like me who just needed a quick overnight or two whilst passing through the city.

Our stay was fantastic. The apartment is on the first floor of a charming house, by the forest, with calm, peaceful surroundings and stunning mountain views. Tip: You will need a car to explore the area. The hosts, Monika and Kurt were great, welcoming, and hospitable. It is the perfect retreat for those looking for a beautiful spot in the middle of nature.

Sparkling clean rooms with all amenities you need in the center of the city. Public transportation and grocery shops are at walking distance and Markus is a wonder host!

About the place: The location was convenient and easy to reach. The property matched the description perfectly, with very clean rooms. Shared areas like the kitchen and bathroom were also well-maintained and spotless. About the host: Markus was a fantastic host—polite, friendly, responsive, and always willing to help. We had a wonderful stay at his place, and without a doubt, it will be my top choice the next time I visit St. Gallen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zweckmäßig und modern eingerichtet. Die Umgebung ist familiär. Jasminka ist sehr hilflsbereit und reagiert spontan, wenn irgendetwas fehlt. Ich plane, die Unterkunft erneut zu buchen.

Liebe Jasminka, deine Unterkunft ist wunderschön! Total ruhige Lage aber in ca. 10min ist man mit dem Auto am Bhf St. Gallen. Gratis Parkplatz vor dem Haus ist auch ein grosser Pluspunkt!🫶🏼 Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt bei dir!😍❤️

Slim pickings in this area so we were happy to find Mai and Thomas's place near Frauenfeld so we could be near to family we were visiting. All worked quite well and they were helpful in accommodating us six and a baby, including providing a crib. There are two bedroom areas with a queen and a twin in each, so three sleep in each room. Kitchen is small but fairly well-stocked. Dining room is ample with a large table. Single bathroom with barrier-free shower so water gets nearly all over the bathroom when you shower. Bath was well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. All in all it was a very good stay. Thanks!

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Zeit im Bijouhaus (2 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder). Das Bijouhaus war sauber, frisch, hell und erzeugte bei uns sofort eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Viele Freizeitaktivitäten sind schnell und unkompliziert mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die besten Erdbeeren aller Zeiten sind im Hofladen (5 Minuten Gehdistanz) erhältlich :) Bei Anliegen und Fragen reagierte Andrea schnell und persönlich. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit, wir können das Bijouhaus sehr weiterempfehlen...

Jennifer‘s place (hosted by Natasha) was extremely well located for access to trains to the Zürich and St Gallen area. Very spacious and clean + appreciated my host’s hospitality and quick response!

We came as a family with two small children + grandparents. The place is really nice! It’s a big house with amenities as listed (and more!). Simon was very nice, responsive, and friendly. It’s close by to supermarkets (Coop and Volg within 5 minutes walking distance) and train station with great connection to/from Romanshorn, St. Gallen, Schaffhausen, etc. The price is reasonable considering Switzerland area and the size of the house. Highly recommended!

Es war unser erster Versuch mit AirBnB. Wir hatten immer die Sorge an einen unfreundlichen Vermieter oder an eine Unterkunft zu geraten, die nicht der Beschreibung entspricht. All das ist hier nicht eingetreten und wir sind froh an so tolle Vermieter geraten zu sein. Es ist ein wirklich toller Urlaub geworden, bei dem ich auch noch viel über Energiemanagement und smarte Haussteuerung lernen konnte. Da wir mit zwei Elektroautos angereist sind, war es super komfortabel direkt am Haus beide Autos gleichzeitig laden zu können. Die Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit und immer super erreichbar. Beide standen immer zur Verfügung, haben sich aber nicht aufgedrängt. Der Pool war das absolute Highlight für unsere Kinder und für meine Frau und mich war das Abendessen am letzten Tag mit Käse Fondue und Filtet auf dem heißen Stein, der krönende Abschluss. Ich kann jedem diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen, Ihr werdet nichts besseres als das finden. Vielen Dank nochmal an Peter und Michael.

Susi und Reto sind sehr Sympathisch, unkompliziert und offen. Mann fühlt sich sofort wohl und willkommen. Der Garten ist zum mitbenutzen und lädt zum verweilen ein. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig, bieten alles was man braucht. Die Lage zur REHA ist optimal zu fuss erreichbar, oder mit dem Bus 1 Station.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt bei Marko, die Wohnung war sehr sauber, Marko ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage direkt am Bodensee, sehr zu empfehlen😊👌

My family (with 2 small kids) and I spent a great time in Peter’s apartment. The location is amazing and the apartment very big and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the bbq and terrace with some friends. We would love to comeback next year again!

Jana is een vriendelijke host. Zeer behulpzaam en outgoing. We voelde ons op ons gemak. Het appartement is zeer schoon en ruim. We mochten tegen een kleine vergoeding gebruik maken van de sauna. Zeker aan te raden.

الشقة رائعة جداً و اطلالتها اروع على بحيرة walensee موقعها بداخل walensee resort المكان اكثر من رائع لا يوجد تكييف و لم يكن مهم لأن الأجواء رائعه للوصول للموقع اعبر على سكة القطار لأن الاحداثيات توصلك لمدخل خاطئ

Our family of 5 used Nicole's place in Unterterzen as a home base to visit Switzerland. The apartment was clean, larger than we expected based on the pictures and description, and easily walkable to the train station and grocery store. The kitchen was very well appointed compared to other Airbnb's. The lake and surroundings are grogeous, with easily walkable paths and is close to the Gondola up to Flumersberg and the ferry to other cities around the lake. Everything at the apartment was operational and instructions from Nicole for checkin / checkout were very clear. Nicole was responsive to any questions and needs. We very much enjoyed our stay in Unterterzen and had many memorable experiences we will carry for the rest of our lives.
