Cabin holiday rentals in Angelus Oaks

This was our second stay, and we loved it just as much, as the first time. Great hot tub, beautiful deck, top of the line barbecue, and the fire pit was great to sit around on cool evenings. We loved the fireplace too! This will always be our Big Bear getaway, it has everything to make our vacation wonderful.

Shayne was a gracious host. You can tell he is dedicated to making visitors’ stays relaxing and easy. Sook’s Perch was a perfect location, walking distance to all the Lake Arrowhead Village shops & restaurants with a lovely view of the lake from the living room & the porch/balcony. Shayne was also very responsive & thoughtful with communication about the property and area attractions. We truly appreciated all the information he shared before our arrival. It made reservations and planning so easy! Sook’s Perch had everything we needed for the week of our stay and hope we get to come back soon!

This place was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and more. It was close to everything, but also secluded and relaxing. Definitely would recommend this to everyone.

From start to finish we really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. We felt right at home, safe and comfortable. The location was great and walkable to the lake. The fire pit, jacuzzi and kayaks were a wonderful addition. Jack and Adam were very responsive and sweet. We would happily stay here again. It was perfect! 😊

great little cabin right up against the tree-line to the San Bernardino National forest. great cabin for a small family. provided a lot of peace and quiet. the cabin is well cared for and the instructions for maintaining it were clear and reasonable. all of the amenities are well cared for and in perfect working order. very friendly and responsive hosts.

We rented this cabin for my husband’s birthday with a group and included little ones and a pet and we had absolutely everything we needed to have a wonderful time here! Amazing location to experience all things Lake Arrowhead and the hosts were so sweet and thoughtful - even surprising us with a birthday cake in the fridge for our arrival! We would absolutely stay in another cabin rented out by To Dwell Here. Thank you for a gorgeous space and a fun experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was immaculately clean, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and peaceful. Our son, Callen, adored the place! It was the perfect blend of fun and relaxation for the whole family. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. Every room was comfortable and inviting, and the quiet surroundings offered the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. You can tell the hosts really care about this place and the experience their guests have. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly, highly recommend!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Green Valley Lake, taking in the sunset each night, cooking meals on the gas grill, and lounging inside and out--plenty of space to relax or work remotely. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a small issue during our stay which was resolved by the hosts, who were very responsive.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful home! The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to accommodate our entire family comfortably. It gave us that cozy “feel right at home” vibe we were looking for. One of the highlights was the fun game room. It kept both the kids and adults entertained all weekend. We spent the weekend celebrating my baby’s first birthday and the house was equipped with everything we needed for her. Hany is a wonderful host and was incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing us with helpful recommendations on local restaurants and activities. Their attention to detail and thoughtful communication made our stay smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This home fully lived up to the high ratings and reviews. It's a beautiful location, and the interiors are well appointed and stylish, without feeling precious. As a family with a large dog, we were especially grateful to have such a lovely home with a fenced in yard that allowed us all to travel together. Aside from the house itself, Stephanie was an incredibly responsive host and responded immediately to any questions that came up. Overall, a delightful stay at a beautiful property, we would absolutely love to return.

I absolutely loved my stay at the cabin! The space was serene, stylish and thoughtfully curated which was just the kind of energy I needed. Everything aligned with rest and restoration! The place was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and the outdoor space was a beautiful bonus. I appreciated the attention to detail and clear communication.

Super easy, no-fuss stay, exactly what you want when you're limping back from a Spartan Race and questioning your life choices. The place had everything we needed and then some! We especially appreciated the little touches like coffee (essential), sunscreen (also essential at elevation), and even hair ties (for looking semi-human in post-race photos). There were thoughtful extras everywhere, perfect if you forgot anything, or if you packed better for your dog than for yourself (guilty). Extra leashes, food bowls, and a tennis ball. Our adventure pup felt just as spoiled as we did. Also, bonus points, there’s a convenience store just down the street for anything you forgot after thinking you packed everything. Overall, a cozy, no-drama spot with all the small details covered!

Jim’s home was very cozy & had all the amenities needed for a weekend getaway. We really appreciated his fast communication. 10/10 recommend! :)

The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Everything was clean and easy to access. It was 15-17 minute car drive from Big Bear Village ( downtown). Our host Chase was very friendly and always responsive to our inquiries . I loved the decor and how everything was decorated with the Big Bear theme. I went during a cold/ snow weekend - the heater was working perfectly and we also used the fireplace. The kitchen had everything you need to cook. I definitely will stay again in this cabin. 5 out of 5.

Looked exactly like the pictures, was a lovely and cute cabin! It was close by to shops, restaurants, etc. but far away enough to still have some privacy and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

Very beautiful home. Bryant was easy to communicate with when we had a problem and fixed it right away. Everyone around the home was nice. Went to the little shops next to the home everyone was so friendly and nice felt right at home . Will definitely be back !

This cabin was perfect! It had everything I needed and more. It is a bit of a ways away from the park and other amenities but because of that it is very quiet and serene. I’d definitely stay here again!

Nice, peaceful cabin located in the beautiful alpine mountains. Everything is as described in the listing.

Simply put, a great value considering a private residence in the mountains and not a motel. Neighborhood is small and off the highway so you don’t hear any traffic. Lots to do/see: Look up Cold Creek Falls, a waterfall literally 2-3 mins away. Also, the neighborhood road ‘Mountain Home Creek Road’ turns into a 6-mile trail with multiple creek crossings that would take you all the way down near Forest Falls. Forest Falls is 15 mins away and great spot to sit by the creek/river (on Hwy 38 there’s plenty of free roadside parking) or there’s a few trailheads. And Oak Glen is 30 mins away. Cons of the place: 1. lighting (both natural/window light and light fixtures) was a little dimmer than expected 2. The back porch is being fixed up so couldn’t use that area. I imagine it will be great when completed! 3. On one of two nights there was a dog barking for a several hours, and neighborhood dogs were annoying, but I’m personally more sound sensitive and don’t like dogs.

We had a great time here. The views are even more stunning in person and if you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet time foraway from the city then this is the perfect place. We loved the modern check-in and check-out process.

Exceeded my expectations, which were high from the photos. Gorgeous views no matter where you look or go, inside or outside the cabin. I downloaded maps/directions for offline use and with the photos and instructions given had no problems finding the road and cabin. Personally I appreciated the lack of reception & TV. Didn’t have issues waking up through the night or with mice in general, as others have reported. I did keep all food inside the fridge and cleaned up after every meal, so maybe just don’t leave crumbs/food out. Would love to come back, just perfectly fit what we wanted in every way.
