Cabin holiday rentals in Angeles National Forest

Just Wow!! It was a awesome stay,it was just beautiful to sit on the porch relaxing listening to the birds all the beautiful trees around the home. Very spacious very lovely inside also. The jacuzzi in the evening was very relaxing ,It was a us moms get away from stress lol too bad it was short trip .Thank you Gabriella for being attentive ❤️all the ladys gave it a 5 stars and more,hope to be back soon for sure we all love it my friends mom said she will never forget it ❤️🙏 I 💯% recommend this beautiful cabin 🌻🙏❤️

Max’s cabin was awesome. Lots of activities and everything had a “how to use” description which made it extremely easy to operate. I had a blast and will definitely try to book again in the future!

Great place to stay; especially if you have pets. Nice backyard. It was very homey and clean.

Finding a rental in this area of Los Angeles is very rare. It’s near where my daughter and her family live so we could walk there every day without having to hire an Uber or Lyft. Plus the area is quiet and felt very safe. We would definitely stay there again.

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!

We had an amazing time! The house was perfect! The bedrooms were all very spacious and so inviting! The whole house was decorated so beautifully! The hot tub was a big hit and perfect after a long day at the disc golf course. The biggest hit was the record player and the wonderful selection of records! Max was a wonderful host! She was quick to respond when I had questions and left us a delightful baked treat for us! We can't wait to come back!!

Wowed in Wrightwood! Arlene’s place is one of the best accommodations we enjoyed in over a decade of renting places. Very spacious, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated (including a gorgeous “Christmas” tree decorated in a pretty spring season theme accented with white fairy lights which looked so enchanting in the evenings), very generously stocked with helpful supplies and enjoyable amenities, all of which made our trip much more enjoyable and relaxing. For foodies who like to cook, the kitchen is a dream with high end appliances and beautiful expansive white quartz (or marble?) countertops. Loved cooking in there, and it boasts 2 dishwashers making us never having to worry about not being able to fit everything in 1 dishwasher. The backyard looking into the green green forest is so peaceful, private and relaxing. And you should know that Arlene is a very attentive, proactive, caring host who is reliable, responsive, and so hospitable. Thanks Arlene! We’ll be back!

What really got me was how responsive and flexible the hosts were to my questions, concerns, requests, etc. The place has everything that we needed (from kitchen, bathroom and toiletries, beds) and catered to the needs of my multi-generational family (age from 80+ yrs to 9 yrs). It was a short but very sweet stay. We will definitely be back when opportunity arises. -- Jane

This place is an absolute gem. It has this incredible rustic mid century vibe. The architecture is amazing, I found myself just staring at the wooden beams while sitting inside. There’s very nice sunken living room with an impressive stone fireplace. Everything has been meticulously cared for and is very clean. The beds and lines are comfortable and bathrooms accommodating. The outside grounds are beautiful as well. We really liked all the stone work throughout the property. Our host Jamie was perfect. If you plan on staying in Wrightwood and this property is available, book it!

It was a pleasure staying in Parvin’s eco cottage. It had everything I needed and more! Most importantly, it was in a safe and quiet place. I was a solo female traveler and never once felt unsafe. Parvin, the host, was an absolute pleasure to interact with. She was kind, caring, and made me feel right at home! The location was perfect for what I needed. A quiet neighborhood that was two min from the freeway and 10 min from the beautiful beach. Parking was never an issue. I look forward to my return trip in the future! Thanks Parvin :)

We stayed in this cabin the week of Christmas and let me tell you, it was well worth the money. It was very "homey" and had the traditional cabin feel, which we were looking for. We used the gas fireplace daily, it provided a great ambiance. Maribel had a Christmas tree already there and set up, which was great. My dogs loved the freedom of roaming the yard and I felt they were safe as it was fully gated. The were plenty of dishes as we had family come up for Christmas dinner. The cabin had plenty of extra blankets and towels and we were able to do laundry if needed. We walked to town several times and it was about a 5 min or less walk. I would definitely stay here again and may plan to next year! Thank you for making it memorable!!

Stayed for a fantastic week on a solo music writing retreat. The home felt immediately warm and cozy. It has incredible light, great airy ventilation, I loved waking up to the birds, and watching the gorgeous sunset-sky out the big windows. Quiet and minimalist, it has a perfect nook to set up my instruments. The best and biggest thing - Melissa really takes great care of the space and guests. The cute kitchen packs a punch - it's fully stocked with sharp knives, ample spices, oils, pans, bakeware, and she even provided specific cookware I asked for because I knew I'd be cooking a lot. The chocolate chip cookie mix, doggie treats/toys, marshmallows/hot cocoa, birdseeds, self-timed night lights, robe/slippers/goodies, yoga mats.. these were touches that really made me feel welcomed. I didn't have to think about packing anything extra other than music gear and my maker mindset. Loved walking in town daily, but honestly didn't leave the place much 'cause it's so lovely. Highly Recommend!

5 Stars This Airbnb was absolutely perfect! It was beautiful, very clean, and had a modern yet cozy feel. Everything was so comfortable, and there was plenty of parking for all of us. My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before my wedding, and it was the perfect place to relax, get ready, and enjoy the excitement together. My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night as well, and it couldn’t have been more special. The location is super convenient, and we’re already planning to stay again in the future. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Karina’s. It was exactly as advertised and Karina was super communicative and had very clear instructions for check-in and check-out. It was perfect for our needs and we would absolutely stay there again!

A unique space in a great location!

Wonderful experience. Fabulous place. Vincent and his family are a pleasure, and the room, full of sweet and interesting items, colorful, with a great bed, is on a gorgeous terrace with lush and planted huge cactus bougainvillea and agave. Great place.

Jessica is a great host and I would recommend her to the highest. She made our 2 month stay feel like a breeze while our home is under construction truly were blessed to have her as our host !! EXTREMELY RECOMMEND

This listing met my expectations and was a very pleasant stay. Quiet neighborhood, with few disturbances or concerns. Only major issue was with ants near entrances and windows, but this was mostly resolved. Altun was extremely helpful with communication and providing necessary assistance and amenities. The location was perfect for anyone looking for an escape from the city without the crowd.

Comfortable & quiet cabin. Felt right at home.
