Save your self the trouble spending hours researching where to stay in the Smokies. This location is a perfect proximity to where ever you decide to venture off too. The property itself is stunning to say the least! The thought out decor, details, layout, and craftsmanship was much appreciated. You’ll love sitting out on the balcony overlooking the Smokies listening to sounds of nature around you. The furniture inside is very cozy, you’ll get plenty good rest between adventures. The kitchen is well stocked with all the tools needed for your kitchen/bbq grill creations. The hosts were amazing, and quick to respond to anything you may need before and during your stay. We loved our stay, and were saddened to leave. We look forwards to visiting again. Thank you again, Jeff and Jill. Your hospitality was greatly appreciated. Darlene & Eddie

My husband and I and our two dogs came in for a quiet weekend for me to study and just chill. It was absolutely perfect. It’s just a cute cozy little cabin! The stairs going upstairs to the bedrooms are steep, but we had no issue with them. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. We drove into Helen, which was about a hour drive due to the windy roads but very doable. Alex was great and check-in was easy. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, this is it!

What a great find! This place was awesome! All of the details and the space was very well thought out and beautiful. The back porch and bathroom are the main stars of the stay! Host was very pro-active and communicated everything effectively. Location is perfect-about 10 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and less than 5 minutes to Mercier Orchard (must visit)! I would highly recommend this place and we hope to make it back one day :)

Very peaceful and relaxing. There are several houses nearby, but privacy was not an issue. The view was amazing! It is a one lane drive from the road 1 mile up to the house and extremely curvy, but road is paved all the way to the the house. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This one one of my favorite stays! Super cute and comfortable home in the mountains. Beautiful views, games for the family, and close to river activities. We did lose internet service for part of our stay, and the host was extremely helpful and responsive. However, if it is important to you, plan for an alternative just in case because there's next to no service up there. I don't usually stay places more than once because I like to try new things, but this one is going on my favorites list!

Me and my husband searched for the perfect romantic getaway for our late honeymoon/ 1 year anniversary. When we came across Knotty But Nice we were sold! The view was immaculate, pictures do not do justice. The house was extremely clean and cozy. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing. Overall peaceful and private! The drive up was pretty scary the first time, I’m definitely glad that we had an SUV! But 10/10 recommend! We are already planning another trip in the fall. Thanks Dana & Trish! 😊

We loved the cabin for a visit to the mountains of NC. Nice hikes, river rafting and the beauty of nature are found there in abundance. The hot tub was especially enjoyed after a day of hiking and the cabin met all our needs. Our host responded quickly to any questions or needs we had. We would love to return.

Overall we had an amazing stay! The place was lovely with great views. The hot tub was very nice and very clean! All the beds were very comfortable! We had a couple minor issues during our stay that were addressed promptly. The water and ice dispenser from the refrigerator door were not working. Host supplied water jug and offered to pick up bags of ice for us. We had sporadic electrical issues. The host offered to send electrician that night but we opted to just go into town to eat that night and she was going to send an electrician the next day after we checked out. It was nice to have shampoo/ conditioner/body wash/ lotion in all bathrooms if you needed. About 30 minutes to get into town from the house. Blue Ridge downtown has great restaurants and shopping 😊

The cabin was beautiful and nature surrounding the area was peaceful and full of wild life. we enjoyed walking the neighborhood which gave a good workout and lovely mountain top view. The cabin was located close to many nature trails and was fun seeing water cascades, beautiful flowers, and enjoyable nature walk. We would recommend the cabin adventure to anyone.

My family had a wonderful time at the cabin! It was a great way to spend my husband’s birthday. It fit our little family of four perfectly. We loved exploring the area and found some beautiful places to hike! Thank you Haley!

Pamela is very responsive like crazy fast. The cabin was clean and just as described. They have ample parking. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely revisit again in the future.

Had an awesome time with friends at the house. The house was very well taken care of and comfortable. Jessica was super responsive and very accommodating. We explored the area and enjoyed some flyfishing as well as other river entertainment. Two heads up, first the path to the back yard area is currently in need of some improving , probably due to the copious amounts of rain there is a trough down the middle of the already step grade. Next, the lower floor deck has no railing, just a drop off to the steep hilled yard. The mattresses were all in good shape, the master bedroom would accommodate a small family ;) , the game room was very enjoyable. Would stay again.

Best experience I've had with AirBnB. Michelle was friendly and polite. The cabin was exactly as described, clean and great for our weekend getaway. 5/5 would recommend.

Allison and Chris's cabin is beautiful and very peaceful. It was also extremely well-stocked and had everything we could possibly need. We had a wonderful time hiking nearby, and we spent a ton of time relaxing on the deck.

Eric & Zoe were very responsive and helpful. Listing was exactly as promised. The cabin was fresh and clean. It is tucked away nicely in the woods and it is so lovely and serene. I had a peaceful and relaxing stay.

This was one of my favorite Air BNB’s to date! Everything was phenomenal and it was the perfect weekend getaway. Super secluded and everything as described. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Extremely clean and well maintained property, the pictures don’t do it justice! My kids and I had such a lovely time, enjoyed all the games, fire pit, and screened in porch. Felicia has clearly thought of all you may need for you stay and common questions, because it was so well equipped with information posted all over. Would definitely visit again!

The house was very clean and cozy. Being able to use the grounds to play with the neighborhood dogs and use the firepit was an awesome bonus. If you plan to hang out in Andrews or go hiking in the Nantahala Forest, its a great option.

The mountain top house was clean and decorated cute, utilizing mountain themes and local crafts. The beds were comfortable. The view spectacular! The hot tub on the back porch under the stars was something to remember! Thomas was a very responsive host! Great weekend for us!

Note-We have already stayed at Firefly cabin once and this time I booked a golf trip for my husband and his friend. This is his review: My buddy and I spent a few days up in Andrews North Carolina at an Airbnb called Firefly Creek, an absolute gem of a spot. The cabin is beautiful with a great back porch with a peaceful stream running behind it. Perfect setting for a relaxing escape. We were mainly up there for some golf and managed to play two incredible courses. The first was Mountain Harbour Golf Club—what a view! The second day, we teed off at Brasstown Valley Resort, which is ranked as one of the top eight courses in Georgia. It totally lived up to the hype—beautifully maintained. In the evenings we hit the casino and luck was on my side! Not so much my friend but we had a great time. Next time we go back hoping to try some fly fishing, plus more golf courses to explore! Highly recommend if you love nature, golf or just a relaxing time in a beautiful place.

Above the Nest is a wonderful place to stay in Blue Ridge! It is quiet, serene, and has a gorgeous view. You won’t want to leave! Kitchen is stocked nicely as well. We will be back!

it was very close to Andrews RailBike Tours. The cabin was clean and smelt wonderful. Tori even leaves a Bathrobe in each room. To go along with the beautiful stream behind the cabin was a fresh new bottle of wine. 🍷 I recommend 👌 it.

We had the most amazing mountain getaway at this beautiful bothy in Robbinsville, NC. Tucked away on 28 private acres, the setting was incredibly peaceful and surrounded by nature—exactly what we needed to unplug and relax. The cabin itself was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with huge windows that let in so much natural light and gave us stunning views of the nature around. It was stocked with absolutely everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to cozy touches that made it feel like home. You can tell a lot of care went into making this space special. Our host was outstanding—so friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. You don’t always find that level of hospitality, and we really appreciated it. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in the mountains, this is the place. We’re already dreaming of coming back!
