Holiday rentals with lake access in Anderson County

Had a great time. Everyone was very pleased with the home, location, and space available. Very close to town but yet still felt like we were in the country. Was amazing. Will 100% select same home and host for our next visit. 10/10.

The lakehouse was spacious, clean and well decorated/furnished! The location was surprisingly private with not a lot of Lake traffic. Great view and deck.

The house was amazing. The beds were very comfortable. The dock was nice. Was here for work in the area. So didn't do a lot. Was definitely someone lake house not a Airbnb Had to walk on egg shells Not to upset them.

Great location, great dock, very clean, everything we needed in kitchen and other supplies. This was our second of hopefully many visits

This place is beautiful, the house was very clean and was well stocked with anything you may need to enjoy your stay. The pond was great for fishing and the animals on the property were sweet.

This was our third trip back, and hopefully not our last. The house and property are perfect for a quiet getaway in the country. Our two young boys spent every minute fishing (and catching), playing in the woods, collecting firewood, building forts, making smores... everything but staring at some type of screen. Highly recommend!

The property is so serene and relaxing. Such a calming environment. A lot of beautiful nature sounds…wind blowing in the trees, all kinds of birds singing, crickets, etc. Nearby there were the most adorable donkeys, gorgeous horses, cute chickens and a rooster. We spotted some precious deer. They have fish food available to feed the fish and turtles. They have a lot of games (indoor & outdoors), movies, books and magazines. They have 3 smart t.v.’s. Great bathroom and kitchen amenities. Also, comfortable beds. Very nice and clean and lots of great smelling candles. The huge porch was soooo nice with a ceiling fan, string lights, etc. It was nice to see the star filled sky! They have a pier by the water and also have a fire pit :) Palestine is 10-15 minutes away with a lot of shopping, restaurants, 4 hr train ride, etc. I would definitely recommend this host/place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Cottage in Frankston is the perfect getaway to simply relax and fish! The private pond is well maintained with big bass, catfish, and crappie. The water is deep enough to fish from the dock or boat. There is a convenient fish-cleaning table out back. My husband enjoyed seeing a beaver swim around while he fished. The cottage was well-stocked and super clean. Shelle is an wonderful, caring host who went out of her way to accommodate us. She even contacted us before we arrived to offer an early check-in. That was a first for us because we had not asked. We highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

If you need a relaxing time to reboot, this is the place to do it. Our stay was wonderful and a perfect getaway to unwind and reconnect with nature. The hosts were very kind, responsive, engaging and really had the property set up nicely. The hosts communicated well, gave easy, straightforward instructions upon arrival and made our time overall very pleasant. The house was comfortable, well setup, very clean and homey. And the beds..so comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with everything one would need to cook and relax! Now for the private lake: We had access to a very nice boat with a trolling motor and batteries. We were able to get setup quickly and easily after some brief instructions from the host. The fishing was awesome! We caught fish every day using a variety of techniques, mainly plastic frogs up in the bank vegetation. The host gave us some valuable information on the lake. The sunsets from the boat and dock were stunning! Highly recommend! I will definitely rebook!

I wish I didn't have a word limit, because this is the greatest AirBNB experience I've ever had. We were blown away - it so far exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect because you're 10 minutes from all the fun but you're far enough out that you feel safe, peaceful, and relaxed. The house is a dream, but the hosts and the property are what made it magical. Roland and his sweet wife are truly some of the kindest and most welcoming people I have ever encountered, I joked that I wished they could adopt us! And their property is a labor of love, built by Roland himself. Take quiet walks on the cobblestone paths and visit the cows and the fig trees, sip on coffee on the covered porch in the rocking chairs, or walk over to their little lake for a serene sunset. Truly I cannot say enough good things about this place. It has a piece of our hearts now. <3 And also, they were SO SWEET to our doggy who had just as great of a time here!!! :) Thank you Roland. We can't wait to come back.
