The Pod on the Hill

Situated approx.2.5 miles outside the village of Port Ellen, the POD offers peace, quiet and relaxation after exploring the distilleries and the joys of the Island. Port Ellen and Laphroaig can be seen from the POD which overlooks Kilnaughton Bay. The path to the three distilleries on this side of the Island starts in the village, taking you first to Laphroaig then Lagavulin , finishing at Ardbeg where delicious food is available. Come, find out for yourselves, a very warm welcome awaits you.

31 School Street is an end terrace traditional house in a row of 5 with modern interior. 2 bedrooms and shower room upstairs. Kitchen diner-dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, multi-fuel stove; lounge with open fire and Freesat TV downstairs. The house is full of artwork, colourful & comfortable. Electric heating or real fires to suit guests. Unique position and very close to the ferry terminal. PLEASE NOTE THE PIPE ON THE BEACH HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR MANY YEARS FOR ITS ORIGINAL PURPOSE!!

Whiterocks Villa

Beautiful property inside and out with the most stunning views of Royal Portrush Golf Course and only a stones through away from whiterocks beach. This home really need to be seen to be appreciated in its full entirety. Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace and watch the sun set over the Whiterocks, take romantic walks along the beach or head into Portrush (1 mile away) for a night to remember. Once you stay one or two nights you will want to come back again.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation.

Alma Cottage

Well equipped one bedroom converted workshop right next to Lochindaal with open plan living/dining area and kitchen, log burning stove, television and free wifi. Bathroom - wc, sink and with an electric shower. Please note when trying to locate us, maps may take you to a group of houses on the opposite of the road to where our accommodation is. We are located on the sea side of the road.
