Waterfront holiday rentals in Amsterdam-Zuid

Our second time at Sebastian’s wonderful Airbnb. This location is perfect as it’s quiet and yet very near the busier sections of town. Sebastian is a terrific host and everything is as described. He is very friendly and makes sure all is well:-) You will not find a better property !

Perfect voor één of een paar nachtjes.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

We had a wonderful stay at Bert and Marieke's spacious apartment. We were welcomed by Bert who helped us with our luggage up the stairs and showed us into their well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. It had everything we could need. The apartment was beautiful. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Bert and Marieke.

The space is amazing with natural sunlight coming into the living room area. It is definitely big enough for 2 or 3 people. The kitchen has all the basics that are necessary for basic meals.

Mariette's home was a perfect getaway for the two of us and our dog. The house is thoughtfully prepared with everything guests might need - the kitchen had all the essentials. It was a real pleasure to enjoy views of different wooded areas from every window. The location is fantastic: the beach is just a 5-minute walk from the house. Muiderberg is about 1 hour by public transport or 30 minutes by car from Amsterdam Centraal. It's the perfect balance of peace, nature, and city access! Thanks to Mariette's hospitality and the calm atmosphere of the house, we had a truly memorable holiday. We're already looking forward to visiting again!

Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs und haben die Unterkunft von Ben und Inge für 3 Nächte genutzt. Zum einen die Nähe von Amsterdam ( mit Bushaltestelle in der Nähe und dem Zug ab Weesp... total easy ! ) und den echt schönen kleinen Städte Weesp, Muiden und Naarden. Inge hat uns auf Wunsch jeden Morgen ein unfassbar tolles Frühstück gebracht. Sie ist eine tolle sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Vielen lieben Dank für diesen tollen Start in den Tag. Wir haben uns bei Ben und Inge total wohl gefühlt und haben Ihre Gastfreundschaft sehr geschätzt. Die kleine eigenständige Wohnung ist sehr ruhig, sehr sauber und gemütlich (wie auf den Fotos) eingerichtet. Eigentlich ein richtiger Geheimtipp, ....psst,aber nicht weitersagen :-) Danke Euch, Inge und Ben für die tolle Zeit ! Thomas & Astrid

This is a lovely home in a quiet and stunning setting on the water. Great for families with kids. This is a great location to explore the lake from and has lots of amenities available for the guests to keep kids busy. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend a stay here.

Die Wohnung ist super, aber das absolute Highlight ist die Terrasse auf 3 Seiten des Hauses, direkt am Wasser. Die großen Glasfronten im Wohnzimmer geben den Blick aufs Wasser frei, was die Wohnung auch bei kühlen Temperaturen besonders macht. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man am liebsten keinen Ausflug machen möchte, sondern nur in der Wohnung bleiben möchte.

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

Wunderschönes Haus in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt

Wir haben uns das Haus gebucht weil es uns von den Bewertungen sehr angesprochen hat. Unsere Erwartungen wurden aber weit übertroffen. Wir kamen in einem Haus in dem wir uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt haben. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man für den täglichen Gebrauch benötigt. Alles ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Saskia war problemlos möglich. Wir haben uns das Haus mit einem befreundeten Pärchen gemietet und sind nach einer Woche sehr gut erholt nach Hause gefahren. Wir können das Haus bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen. Wir möchten nächstes Jahr im Herbst wieder kommen. Danke für alles Saskia und Flip.

Nach einem langen Tag in Amsterdam haben wir die Ruhe in Broek in Waterland bei Haico sehr genossen. Das Haus ist gemütlich und bietet alles, was wir gebraucht haben: ein bequemes Bett, eine saubere Dusche und eine gut ausgestattete Küche, in der wir unser Frühstück zubereiten und abends kleine Mahlzeiten wie Pasta oder Sandwiches machen konnten. Die Lage ist ideal, um schnell nach Amsterdam zu gelangen, und die Busverbindung ist sehr gut.

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und herzlich – man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch unser kleiner Sohn hat sich rundum wohl gefühlt, was uns als Familie besonders wichtig ist. My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

What a fantastic apartment. The location was perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal and then around 15 minute ferry journey to central Amsterdam. Monique was a really great host and communicative from the first time I booked the apartment right throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying here. Gostamos muito do alojamento pela sua localização relativamente aos pontos turísticos do país. Os anfitriões sempre muito simpáticos e super rápidos a responder ás mensagens. Apesar do quarto ser dentro da casa deles nunca sentimos falta de privacidade e tínhamos tudo o que precisávamos dentro do quarto :)

De passage dans la région, nous avons séjourné dans le logement de Yvonne ; bon emplacement, au calme, bien décoré et propre. Hote réactive et accueillante.

My thanks to Wilma and family for their friendliness and being so helpful. I have had a most wonderful time. Will miss the farm and the animals. I wish them huge success with their dairy farm.
