'Laurelin In The Lakes' is my lovely, highly spacious ground-floor apartment in a sought after location on Lake Road, 3 mins level stroll from Ambleside centre! Beautiful decor, bespoke wall art, fabulous 'mountain' mural original, superb large lounge/diner with impressive corner sofa. Private parking space, rare in such a central spot! Fast/unlimited Wifi, TNT/Sky Sports, Smart TV's, Netflix, PS4/games. Private entrance. I love that my favourite restaurants, the fells and lake are all so close!

This is a great little place that served as the perfect base for our trip to the Lake District. The unit is located in a nice part of Ambleside, and was clean and comfortable. Exactly what we needed. This was our second stay in this beautiful accommodation. Very clean, comfortable and modern - cleaning products and kitchen basics provided including tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and oil. The location is brilliant; within a short walking distance to lots of amenities including shops, cafes, restaurants and bus stops. Hosts were very responsive in their messages. Parking space is just outside of the accommodation - very convenient! We would definitely return and recommend to our friends and family.

Jane is a brilliant host, her place is very close to the bus stop, and you can basically travel by bus everywhere. She was super nice and kind to me, she took me out walking the next day (b/c she wasn’t busy), and we had the best time! The Lake District is an amazing place, I’ll definitely return for more walks and will gladly stay at Jane’s again. Thank you for making my trip extra memorable!

Wendy and Tony were fantastic hosts, and they made us feel totally at home. The location is so special, right on the Cumbria Way. We are so grateful for all the extra help - notably a request for porridge for breakfast before a race I had, and helping me to dry out my shoes afterwards!

Our room (bedroom & bathroom) in Ambleside House was lovely: cosy & clean with a nice welcome tray of tea/coffee, biscuits, breakfast cereal & milk. It is ideally located in the centre of Ambleside within a few minutes walk of the shops, bars & restaurants and with easy access to the start of great walks & runs. Anthony was a very helpful host and communication was clear & timely. We will definitely book Ambleside House again! Highly recommended.
