Holiday rentals with lake access in Amantaní

Luis, Antonia and their children welcomed us with open arms! We really were part of the family during our stay. Great times shared! The accommodation is by the lake, Llachon is a small village that allows you to immerse yourself in typical Peruvian life. We will keep very good memories of our stay. Thanks again Luis and Antonia!

She was delighted and very grateful to Gonzalo and with the stay. Regarding Gonzalo is a very communicative, assertive and friendly host, from the reservation he contacted me about some suggestion, at the time of receiving us and during the stay he was on the lookout if we needed anything. (From helping us to order a safe taxi, tourist suggestions in the area, etc.) in short, he and his family are nice people. About the stay a very comfortable and welcoming place had all the amenities it offered and needed for a good stay.

The hosts were very welcoming. They picked us up from the port, very responsive by message when we had any questions. The view is splendid (especially for the sunrise). And the little bonus: the catering service and the quality/quantity of the food was perfect! Thanks very much Edwin and Ruben!

Very welcoming family, all the family members participated in the quality of our stay. The family runs a small business to buy the necessities (water, cake...). We felt like family, with the bracelet workshop and board games after the meal. They are very attentive to their guests. I highly recommend it!

I highly recommend staying in the Uros Islands at this lodge. The views from the bed and sofa are breathtaking. A nice place to read, relax and explore the floating islands. The accommodation is extrmenely clean, comfortable and the host will make sure you will not get cold. The meals that are additionally purchased is beautifly presented and delicious. The host and local family are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

We were very happy! Mr. Celso, who welcomed us, was always very kind and made us feel at home. He took us to know the island and told us a lot of stories about the place and the people there. Celso's house is in Ocosuyo, which is a community within the island of Amantaní. To get there you have to walk through the entire island from the port, about 1 hour, but the views are worth it, (or you can take a linear motorcycle). Celso waited for us at the port, and allowed us to decide how to get to the house. By the way, the food is delicious, and it's prepared by Celso's wife, Mrs. Norma's wife, the food is delicious. We would definitely stay with them again if we return to Amantaní.

Nice place with a lake view, very close to the Main Square of Puno. It was super clean, which was extremely pleasant. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities, as well as bathroom. The host also offers guided tours in the lake, which was nice and easy to organize. Thanks :)

Accommodation near Plaza de Puno. All as described in the listing. The view from the apartment is really beautiful, however, if you have any physical limitations you should rethink the 7 flights of stairs.

I felt very comfortable in the apartment and with my incredibly welcoming, friendly host from the start. Great location just a short walk from the lake, close to shops and restaurants but very quiet for a decent night’s rest. Janet was a great host who was more than willing to help with all of my questions and requests. The apartment had everything I needed. I would 100% stay again and recommend to my friends.

Eve and I had a great time. We enjoyed the stay and the experience offered by the Island of cars. Also, the view was simply perfect. The food was 10/10 and the service from Eder and his parents was excellent. Very noble people. Thank you very much, Eder and family for your hospitality. We definitely recommend them 🙌🏼

Apartment was in a great location next to the plaza ! Room was modern and clean and amenities worked well! It’s up 6 flights of stairs so if you haven’t acclimatised to the altitude.. take it slow! Just to note bathroom is in a separate room but it’s still very clean. Alberth was helpful and responsive and provided me with extra blankets ! There was also hot water in the shower!

Here’s yet another 5 star review. If anything, how great it is to stay with Gloria and Omar is understated in the reviews. I stayed 2 nights. The island is away from the center of the community, so the quiet was extraordinary. And the lodging is situated perfectly if you like gorgeous sun and moon rises right from the huge window, and sunsets from the bed they set up outside, to say nothing of the shimmering lights of Puno in the distance. And oh yes, the Southern Cross. If you tend to judge quality by price, be aware that the room is *way* underpriced. I’d have been happy to get Gloria’s chicken piccata at a restaurant in Italy. I could go on, but the other reviewers say the same thing better.

So beautiful here! Lake Titikakase is the first thing you see from the bed in the morning. A little hard to reach, but worth it. Right for those who want a bit of peace and quiet and no mass tourism. The food is very tasty and plentiful. Guido and his family are super nice and helpful. :)

Let's go. What kind of trip are you looking for? Do you want a tourism with a lot of local culture and cuisine? This is the right place. Do you want luxury? It's not here. The accommodation is simple and meets expectations. Some rooms overlook the lagoon, I think it's worth asking beforehand if the room you'll be staying in will have a view. The shower doesn't get very hot and sometimes there's not much water, but it's worth the experience. The food is excellent and local, they cook for a fixed amount per meal. They also arrange some tours for you and explain everything about the local culture. It's worth it!

Extremely good everything. Luis and Fernanda are fantastic persons and staying at there house and experiencing the island and its culture is something I would recommend to everyone.

Norka's home is in a beautiful location in a close knit farming community on the edge of the beautiful Lake Titicaca. The house is perfect for a peaceful getaway with panoramic views of the water and mountains. it's set back from the main road so you need to walk down the hill to access it, like all of the houses in the area. Norka's representative in the community is Wilber, who was the kindest, most attentive host and helped us to feel right at home. he provided a beautiful breakfast (with amazing fried bread!) organised activities and we even had a meal at his house cooked by his wife. the freshest trout I've ever had! the community in Luquina is just amazing so if you want to experience life on the edge of the world with the best people, this is the place. Norka herself was very communicative and super friendly. we had an issue with the WiFi which she resolved immediately and was very helpful in every other way. a lovely person with good energy which can be felt in the house.

We had a great time at Juana's place. Peaceful moments, quiet. Juana is an exceptional host: welcoming, kind, she communicates very well (even if our Spanish is very average). We followed Juana in her everyday activities and she offered us other activities. On top of all that, the food is very good at Juana's!! Thanks again! We recommend 100%!

Amazing place, sunset and sunrise are amazing. Nelio and his wife are really kind and helpful. Nelio took us for a tour of Uros Islands and then he organised our trip to Taquine Island. The view from the bed is stunning and the bed really comfortable.

I would highly recommend a stay at Walther's place to anyone traveling in Peru. It was a wonderful way to wind down and relax in peaceful and beautiful setting.
