Waterfront holiday rentals in Amalfi

The studio is larger than the photos suggest. We had 2 large suitcases and still plenty of space. Two chairs fit on the mini-balcony and it was wonderful to watch the whole Marina Grande. A bus station is right in front of it. (There are 2 bus companies that work completely separately from each other in terms of timetable & tickets) The studio is well equipped, has a sophisticated lighting concept. The washing machine on the roof can also be reached via the stairs with a little fitness and agility. Marica took good care of us. We felt very comfortable.

this was probably one of my all time fav airbnbs that i ever stayed at. luigi was amazing, the apartment was overlooking a beautiful garden and all you ever heard was the birds. 12/15 minute was from the train, 1 train stop only from sorrento downtown where all the shuttle boats are. the sunsets were glorious from the patio! i just loved it. would love to come back.

The best place we have ever stayed. Serena and her family have thought of every convenience and need for their clients. They were extremely responsive, helpful and kind. Excellent hosts!

Nunzio's place was great for 3 adults. Very comfortable, and as described on the website. Wonderful garden. The terrace, although up several flights of stairs, is spectacular and no one else was there the several times we used it for drinks or dinner. The location feels very typical of local life, and you can experience a non touristy town with great cafes, Gelato and many nice shops just steps away. The beach is a short walk and has both a public beach and several beach clubs with great bars and restaurants. A short walk to 3 train stations that will get you to all the key attractions in the area.

We had a very lovely stay at this apartment - the host was welcoming and patient because we arrived a bit late for our check-in on the first night. They gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling rosé along with some delicious biscuits, which was a really nice touch as well. The apartment is very beautiful, and we especially loved the balcony and living room area, with fabulous views of the coastline. You don't get a full sunset, as the sun sets behind the mountains, but it is still nice and for most of the evening the balcony is a sun trap. The were nice views, but the beach opposite the flat seemed a little bit dirty to be honest. But there are loads of beautiful beaches around the Amalfi Coast, and this apartment is well situated to explore places nearby. My only other critique is that we weren't shown how to use the air con units on arrival, so the apartment was very hot at night, and too noisy to open windows due to the busy main road. Other than that - really enjoyed!

Can’t recommend Federica’s place enough! Such a great spot & easy to get to Napoli, Amalfi coast, Capri, Pompeii… we enjoyed our stay throughly & Federica was so friendly & kind. She provided many options & recommendations to make our holiday the best experience.

We had a great time in the small apartment overlooking the sea. Waking up in the morning and seeing from the bed to the sea is really great. Iryna is a super host who is quick to respond to questions. She gave us good recommendations for restaurants and supermarkets for the surrounding area. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Our stay was excellent! Rosa and her husband were super nice to us. The apartment was in an excellent location, super clean, with everything you need. The view is amazing, it was a pleasure to wake up every day there. We would love to come back and we would definitely choose to stay in the same apartment! Perfect peaceful spot by the beach — a hidden gem! Our family absolutely loved staying here. The location is unbeatable right by the beach, with a peaceful, serene atmosphere that felt like a true escape from the crowds of Amalfi and Positano. We were so glad we chose not to stay in the busier towns! The boat to Amalfi and Positano is literally right outside the apartment, making day trips so easy. There are beautiful restaurants nearby, and the fairy lights at night create such a magical ambience. The apartment itself is charming and a bit rustic, with just one bathroom, but the stunning location and experience more than make up for it. We felt very safe and well looked after, Salvatore is an excellent host who helped us with our big bags and checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a truly relaxing coastal experience away from the crowds.

We had an amazing 4 nights in this beautiful location, Melania’s place is situated in an idyllic area. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. Melania gave us lots of suggestions of places to visit and where to eat and was very helpful. We would love to return again sometime in the future. This place is a real gem!

We had a wonderful stay as a family in this spacious 2-story Amalfi home. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the center square and beach. So close to everything we needed, yet still quiet enough to relax. The apartment itself was much larger than we expected, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive throughout our stay. They made everything easy, from the smooth check-in process to the thoughtful video they shared to guide us right to the door. Every request or question we had was answered quickly and with care. It’s a place that helped make our family trip to Amalfi even more memorable. Highly recommend!

Raffaele’s place was beautiful, more spacious than we originally thought (most places in Italy are usually small), located right in the middle of town with great restaurants all around it. Very close to the ferry and the bus station. Anna and Luiggi who work as the property managers were very helpful, answered all my questions and even picked me up from the piazza to personally take me to the apartment and show me everything. The terrace was beautiful, a great place for a glass of wine after a day of walking around Amalfi or any of the other town on the Amalfi Coast.

We had the best time staying at Casa Francesca. It’s just far enough from the center of Positano to feel peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to walk to all the restaurants, shops, and the main beach in ten minutes. The absolute best part? The private beach. While the main beaches in Positano were packed, we had this beautiful little spot all to ourselves—complete with beach chairs and kayaks. It was a dream! The Airbnb itself was so cute, with little garden areas and amazing views from the windows and terrace. The kitchen even had welcome snacks, drinks, and a Nespresso machine, which was such a nice touch. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming! They were also quick to respond and helpful when we had questions. We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in Positano!

Wow what a place! We stayed here for the last few days of our honeymoon and have never experienced such amazing views, the photos do not do it justice and there is so much space on the terrace. The apartment has everything you need and was very clean and tidy. Benedetta was so helpful with check in, recommendations, helping us with the bus and with check out. She even left us some very thoughtful gifts for our honeymoon! There’s some shops and very nice restaurants just 5 minute walk away so you have everything you need. 100% recommend booking here.

Mirna is a true gem. Saying that she is the perfect host doesn’t do it justice - in the weeks leading up to my stay, she checked in regularly to make sure that I was able to book activities (as things get booked up in the Sorrento Coast). She arranged for me to have groceries delivered since I wasn’t renting a car nor scooter. She provided so much information that guided all of my activities, and even when I needed to make additional plans, she placed those calls for me to ensure that I could get reservations. Her kindness was so appreciated. Her home is very clean and her housekeeper was so helpful, even helping me to carry my luggage up the small hill to the main road. Mirna provided coffee, the kitchen utensils that I needed to make my own meals, and I didn’t need anything more. The VIEW is as spectacular as Mirna is…rent her home, you will regret not doing so…in addition to renting a car or scooter (otherwise, she has the name of a fantastic driver)!

It was amazing to stay in the center of Cetara, in a quiet village but next to everything thanks to the ferry, 3 minutes from the apartment. I felt like at home in the apartment, thanks a lot

Annamaria was a very generous and helpful host. We got around the language barrier by using the translate app. She gave us helpful tips about good restaurants and bars and provided a map of the city with points of interests marked on it. The location was perfect, very central and with beautiful surroundings. The private balcony was lovely to sit out in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine or two! Annamaria arranged for someone to collect us from the airport when we arrived and a taxi on our last day. We stayed for 10 days and she arranged for the apartment to be cleaned half way through our stay. She also gave us a welcome gift of beautiful pastries! I would recommend staying in Annamaria’s apartment and would definitely like to stay there next time we visit Napoli.

Clean and tidy appearance, despite the outside temperatures it was not necessary to use the air conditioner as the apartment is cool. Host available to let us leave our luggage before check-in. Spotless

What a fantastic stay in a beautiful apartment in Salerno with magnificent views of the water right outside your kitchen window. We fell in love with the decor including the floor covered in hand-made ceramic tiles from Vietri sul Mare and elegant chandeliers made from Murano glass. The location is perfect with restaurants and cafes just steps away from the door and beach clubs within a few minute walk. Vita and Laura are the most wonderful hosts. Prior to our arrival Vito provided information about the area and asked if we had any special interests that he could help us with. Laura picked us up a the train station and explained everything about the apartment and the area. They checked-in with us every day to see if we needed anything. Vito dropped us at the ferry for our day-trip to Capri. He mapped out walking paths and provided suggestions for attractions and restaurants. Two of the most caring and friendly people we have had the privilege to meet.

All amazing! Beautiful town and an incredible place to use as a base to discover the Amalfi Coast. We love Minori and the apartment with a stunning balcony and their sea views. Clear communication with Maurizio that always answer us quickly. Thanks for all!

Raffaele's apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. A beautiful courtyard welcomed us with a super friendly doorman, as it still exists in the beautiful buildings in Naples today. We were able to deposit our luggage with him (you have to pay a little) and were able to walk through the beautiful streets of Naples without any problems and without luggage. The check-in worked very well and we were then able to take over the beautiful and well-kept apartment. We felt right at home. Raffaele was always available to us for any information. You can walk very quickly to the most beautiful streets and sights of Naples, the subway is right in front of the house. Everything you need for a longer stay was available in the apartment. We will definitely come back and will be happy to recommend Raffaele's Bijou. Thank you Raffaele, we were allowed to stay in your nice apartment. A presto

We stayed for two nights and spent a lot of time on the balcony. The views and home itself looked even more magical in person. So many amazing restaurants and an incredible wine bar right down the street. We didn't want to leave and cannot wait to return. We are in great shape and only visited with a backpack so stairs were not an issue for us. Worth every step! Felt safe and enjoyed our stay. Host was very accommodating and even got us a taxi when we had to catch an earlier train back to Rome! Believe us, you want to book La Casa Sull Acqua!!!

We had a wonderful time at Roberta’s place. The location is incredible, and the house is spacious and has everything you might need. As other people have mentioned, you can hear the music from Il Pirata next door at night - for us this was only an issue on the Saturday night when they had a party. Roberta gave us lots of excellent recommendations, we will definitely be back!
