Beach house holiday rentals in Amalfi

The views are absolutely breathtaking and the house is wonderful. You really need to take into account the hundreds of steps to and from the house, but other than that it's just wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at Rosa del mare. The views from the spacious balcony are spectacular. Simone was a wonderful host. We used the recommended transportation from Simone and walked off the plane to a waiting driver who communicated our arrival time for a seamless checkin. Great customer service. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thanks again Simone, Pasquale, and Gianmario for a wonderful stay.

A Dream Stay at Cherubini – A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views Our stay at Cherubini was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning panoramic view—a perfect blend of shimmering blue water, the charming rooftops of the town, and the majestic mountains rising in the distance. It felt like stepping into a painting. The property itself was impeccably maintained, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly peaceful. Every morning, we sipped coffee while watching the sunlight dance across the water, and in the evenings, the twinkling lights of the town below created a postcard-perfect backdrop. Cherubini is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience. If you’re looking for serenity, beauty, and a true sense of place, this is where you’ll find it. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return. Also a huge thank you to Francisco for portering our three luggage bags to the house. So helpful.

The apartment is really nice, feels like a local home, the pictures and instructions were good and we enjoyed four great days in Maiori and in Roberto’s apartment Roberto mentioned the 70 steps to climb and indeed as us says, it is worthy. I suggest people either walking difficulty to avoid since those are challenging steps. BUT, if climbing steps isn’t a problem for you, the reward is the really excellent place!

This place was absolutely beautiful! The view of the beach is absolutely stunning! Hubby and I loved hanging out on the porch and watching the waves! The home is on a cliff so beware there is a bit of a walk at an incline up streets one way or another way up streets then stairs! About 15 minutes walk from Port of Vietri. It’s just a short 6 to 10 minute walk to the towns square full of restaurants and adorable shops! The Airbnb was super clean and had everything we needed! Good kitchen supplies along with salt, pepper, sugar and olive oil to cook basic meals! The bed was super comfortable! Best bed in Italy after being there for 3 weeks! Also Raffaele is the sweetest most humble man! He is so down to earth and ready to help with any needs of his guests. He was so attentive and kind. He picked us up at the port and dropped us off at the Airport when he so didn’t have to. We made sure to compensate him! He is the definition of hospitality! Thank you Raffaele!

This place is a hidden gem! The view from the living room and the terrace is just spectacular and the area is very peaceful. While the center of Amalfi felt quite crowded and touristy, the village of Pogerola (where this house is) feels much more personal: People greet you on the street and are very willing to help. The stairs from Amalfi to Pogerola are indeed a bit of a cardio training, but if you don’t feel like climbing stairs, there is a good bus connection (1-2/hour, reliable service, bus stop ten minutes away from house). Luisa was very friendly and helpful during check-in and all three of them were available for guidance during my stay. Lastly: If you’re looking for a place to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I 100% recommend Gerry’s Pub — amazing food, view and vibes.

Our stay here exceeded our expectations. The view is gorgeous, the space is clean and extremely functional, and the location is perfect. The town is busy and bustling with tourists and locals. Embrace it. Take it all in. Lots of stairs as is typical with Positano. Take it slow. No need to be in a hurry. Take advantage of all the stairs by stopping to take in the views and get photos.. The shopping in the area is great and Vito's family owns and operates a clothing store/brand and a handful of local yummy restaurants. Even though we didn't have a lot of time to spend at our private beach, it is amazing and there is a small dock where you can arrange your boat tour to pick you up. The family that owns this bnb are so sweet and accommodating. The host is very responsive with any questions and even arranged a taxi on a day we felt like doing a little less walking. I woul definitely book this space again. Until next time..

We had an amazing time staying at La Limonaia Della Torretta. Loredana was very helpful with our needs, she gifted us pasta, wine and lemons (So sweet). The house was very charming, we loved the lemons growing in the front yard! The ocean view on the patio was beautiful. The stairs from the centre were somewhat challenging but it was worth it! We were most definitely sad to leave.

Perfect location and great space. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Family of 4 adults with 2 bathrooms was an extra plus. Having access to hotel was a bonus. Monica arranged a driver for our transportation from train and leaving to airport . Location was walkable to all places.

Such a wonderful home with incredible views! Very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. We loved sitting out on the terrace taking in the breathtaking vista! The shared pool was fun! Walking distance to and from the bus after doing many stairs was appreciated. Maria was very helpful with advice of what to see and do! Loved eating at Da Costantino across the street! Exceptional food and wonderful family owned restaurant with stunning views as well! A must do! We will definitely tell friends and family about Casa Angelica! A perfect place to stay to experience Positano!

Extremely clean and beautiful apartment. Very responsive host. The view was spectacular and the patio was very large and spacious. It’s very good for younger people that like to do a lot of walking and hiking. It’s very difficult to get in town especially when you have only a couple of days to explore the city. I had my mom and aunt with me and I would have preferred a hotel by the center of town. We spent a lot of money for taxi . Other than that the place and the host are wonderful and match the description on the listing .

Alessandra’s villa is gorgeous! The view was phenomenal and the place very clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend. Love to come back sometime. There is obviously lots of stairs to go anywhere in the area so might want to consider that when booking. Thank you Alessandra!

Casa Incanto is a beautiful home, the gardens and pool area are exceptional, the views over Praiano, Positano and out to Capri are stunning. Inside Casa Incanto is very well laid out, very clean and very comfortable. It is very easy to get to Positano, Amalfi and Marina dei Praiano using the local link buses. We also hired a private boat from Marina dei Praiano to Capri.

The property is in a simply beautiful setting, with amazing patios and a pool we made full use of. The host and staff were wonderful and helped us in every way possible. We loved our visit and the views!!!! Just 2 notes, if you have physical challenges you will struggle getting up and down the stairs between the street and property (there are many!). And if you want to spend a lot of time in the town of Amalfi, there is no easy way to travel back and forth. There is a bus that is exceptionally crowded without stops called out so very stressful. And taxis from the center to the property go off meter and can charge as much as 100-130 euro for the 15 minute drive when busy. There is a town shuttle in the peak period I’m told but it was not running during our stay. The staff however were wonderful and gave us rides when they could; Alessandrina assisted us with tour arrangements and was very helpful; and we loved Dina and her sister Enzah who lived on the property and helped us so much!

Looks just like the pictures and the surrounding beauty is even prettier in person! You need to be able to do a lot of steps, for this kind of vacation in general. Our host was so helpful and picked us up in Minori (just below). They stayed in contact our entire stay. We loved it and highly recommend it!

Licia is the best air b n b host we have ever had! She made our trip seamless and was helpful in coordinating reservations and cabs. She is as very sweet and all of her recommendations were spot on. The home was even more beautiful than the photos. As the listing and many reviews state, it is at the top of Positano. The walk down was reasonable with many steps but only about 15-20 min to town. My mother was able to make it back up the steps one time but she did not prefer it and it took us around 45 mi, but like I said Lucia helped us coordinate rides and gave us bus instructions. There is also a nice restaurant at the top of the hill across the street called da constantino if you have a night you do not want to go to town.

Luisa was absolutely wonderful! Her instructions were very clear, she has booklets with restaurant and activity recommendations. The property is incredible, one of the best I've ever stayed at and the view is to die for! Amazing little town, I'd book again in a heartbeat. The only caveat is the walk to the town center is uphill on 3 roads, not a big deal if you're fit but if not, it may be a struggle & could be very hot during summer months as there is little to no shade

Cannot recommend this place enough! We LOVED our stay here. Peaceful, clean, the most incredible views and a lovely neighbour who left lemons on our doorstep. The pictures don’t do it justice! Staying in Pastena was a great idea because there’s a bus stop right by the flat, making it easy to get into Amalfi. This meant we were out of the noisy centre, so we had peaceful nights sleep and meant we were high up with the most amazing views of the coast. Wonderful morning sunrise coffees and sunset wines. Our whole stay was a dream! Not only is this flat perfect, Andrea was a wonderful host. Very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Collected us from Amalfi centre when we arrived due to Italian holiday traffic. So generous and kind. Thanks so much, Andrea! We also appreciate your recommendation to have dinner on Pogerola. We loved it! We hope we can visit again in the future.

BOOK THIS AIRBNB!! This trip would not have been the same without Andrea, Valerio, and Rosa’s kindness and hospitality. When we got stranded in Positano after misreading the bus timetables, Valerio very kindly drove all the way from Amalfi late on a Sunday to pick us up back to the Airbnb. We truly do not know how we would have gotten back without Andrea’s coordination and Valerio’s help. Checking in, we got a lovely lift from the pier as well as the first bus tickets, alongside an adorable gift of spaghetti aglio e olio ingredients. The view is a dream, loved brewing cafe with the Bialetti to drink on the patio every morning. This Airbnb had been the one of the highlights of the whole trip, and we are so grateful for all of their help. (Walkable to amalfi pier within 30 minutes, if you don’t trust the bus timetables.)

We had a wonderful stay at Ramona’s place. It’s very well located in the middle of everything and super quiet.! The apartment is recently renovated and felt like home. The rooftop has a wonderful view and is a great place to chill. Ramona was exceptionally helpful and responsive to all our queries. She recommended wonderful restaurants and always made sure we would have the best available table. I would highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

We loved staying in Furore. It is a quieter experience than staying in Amalfi or Positano. Elia was a great host with great recommendations. We had a car, so having a parking spot was really helpful. We walked to dinner and breakfast twice and shopped at the local market. Hanging on the deck in the evening was very relaxing. We cooked dinner in and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also walked down to the Furore beach. About 1400 steps each way so you need to be in shape to do that! All in all a lovely stay. Grazie to Elia and your madre!

The location is pristine! Absolutely beautiful, modern and clean while great character and design. We would stay there again! Martina was great, communicative and provided snacks at the hotel for us. She even remembered we were going on our anniversary and got us some limoncello. So sweet of her!

Simona and Alessio's place was stunning - very clean, with everything you'd need for a stay such as oil, salt, shampoo, soap, dressing gowns, dishwasher tablets - you name it, it was all there! They even gifted us with an extra large bottle of sparkling wine on arrival :) The view from the terrace was nothing short of stunning and to be able to enjoy it from a hot tub was unreal! Conca dei Marini was peaceful, welcoming and beautiful. Amalfi is not far down the coast, but we found we preferred the calmer vibe of Conca dei Marini overall. Simona and Alessio went above and beyond to make our arrival and departure as smooth as possible by booking taxis, carrying our luggage, and driving us in their car to the pickup spot. Couldn't have asked for more; truly blown away by their hospitality. We enjoyed sunset massages on our terrace one evening - amazing! You do need to be physically capable to make it up the steps, but there's too much to fall in love with here to let that hold you back!

Laura and Andrea were incredible hosts. They were always available and happy to help, which I really appreciated. The place was clean and had everything we needed. I highly recommend it.
