House holiday rentals in Älta

We had 2 very nice days and nights in the cottage. Our little girl had so much fun at the pool and was so happy she could use the toys of the family! The airbnb is equipped with everything we needed. It is close to the water and there is a nice beach and playground closeby. It was very relaxing and the hosts were very nice and always available when we had questions.

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

Great stay at Rob and Louise's. The house is very comfortable, close to public transport, shops, 15 minutes from the center of Stockholm.

We had a super stay in the house, large and spacious with fantastic pool. Malin responded quickly to all questions and check-in was very smooth. Recommended!

We had a fantastic stay! Magdalena and Oscar were super friendly, responsive, and welcoming, so everything was easy and smooth. The house is beautiful, with a spacious garden, lovely pool, and a charming greenhouse we really enjoyed. Surrounded by stunning nature, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Would love to come back!

Johan and Laila's beautiful house meets all the requirements. Super spacious and nicely located on the waterfront with running trail. We had a wonderful time thanks to the very good care of the hosts. Highly recommended!

A brilliant spot approximately 30 min drive from the centre of Stockholm. Right by the water with sea views and 9min drive to the local town. Our family (kids aged 9 and 12) loved the pool and hot tub. Elin and Johan were great and the house had everything we needed. Hoping to come back soon.

Very nice house, with great views to all sides, inside spacious and very tasteful, warm despite the temporary cold, good kitchen equipment, we cooked 4x. Then also especially nice that there is the new ferry through the archipelago to Stockholm, bus to Gustavsberg does not run very regularly, but after all, a car is better for shopping. Klara and her mother-in-law were very helpful and friendly. Everything wonderful

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay in the midst of idyllic Skärgarden, with warm and helpful hosts and time for yourself and your family, this is the perfect spot. We stayed at this lovely accommodation for a week with our two children (aged 2 and 6). We loved the surroundings, the nature, the many excursion options, the proximity to the beach, and the easy bus connection from Stockholm. The holiday apartment is equipped with everything you need and includes many thoughtful details. Our week here was just what we needed to unwind and relax after a few bustling days in Stockholm. We felt very comfortable at Elzbieta and Bill's - the small apartment was equipped with everything needed for a few days and we could also use a seat in the garden, which was wonderful for the long evenings. Bill gave us great tips for activities and the use of public transport. We had to organize ourselves a bit for shopping, as there is no shop within walking distance. But the quiet location compensated for that. I'd love to come back another time!

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! A very cozy and fresh accommodation. We would meet friends who live in the same area, so we thought it was great to have a close "home". Lena was friendly and easy to communicate with. We are happy to stay here more times.

Nour loved our stay with Carin and Per. The accommodation is really in the middle of nature although it is located next to the owners house, we loved the 2 terraces that allow you to enjoy the sun all day as well as the view from the room (forest view). The place is extremely well equipped and has everything you need. Carin provides a very detailed binder with all the places to see nearby. The possibilities for swimming are multiple and all the places suggested by Carin were beautiful. We were also able to take advantage of the 2 bikes prepared by Per to be able to visit the surroundings. Everything was perfect and we'll be back with pleasure.

We will check the availability of Maria's AirBnB first the next time we visit Stockholm. Its location was within walking distance of a bus stop and grocery store which was ideal for us. Maria was very responsive and made us feel at home. It was one of the best AirBnB experiences we have ever had.

Had a lovely and most relaxing stay at this holiday home by the water. Everything worked great for us. Beautiful scenery, a neighboring park with lovely walks, fully equipped and sparkly clean stylish home, great kitchen to prepare meals, comfy bed, bus stop right by the house for easy commute to the city, and lovely lovely outdoors, including swims ten times a day... and special visitors to the backyard such as deer, ducks and squirrels as well as the neighbor's cat :) If you don't have a car, remember to bring groceries with you, otherwise it's a few minutes walk. Thank you for this memorable stay.

The house has everything you need and a wonderful spacious terrace, some even with a view of the water. Stockholm city center can be reached in about 30 minutes by car.

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay. We spent five nights here with Harri and Grete, who were very hospitable and kind. They helped us out by picking us up at the train station after our car broke down and invited us up for breakfast. The space is beautiful and tasteful, thoughtfully designed and furnished with nice linens and handmade ceramics. There was a nature reserve nearby that was great to walk our dog in, and public transportation (ferry and train) very close by as well. Thank you Frej, Harri and Grete!

Charlotte has a very lovely house, with a beautiful garden in which you can as well enjoy your meals in open air. The apartment is welcoming and very well fournished, you will find all you need very easily. The check-in is very simple and well explained, as well as all of the house rules. If you have any doubt, she is available to explain everything you need to no in a very short time. The two cats are very calm and friendly, they spend most of their time outside, and just come in to eat or ask for some cuddles. The house is very close to a metro stop, so it’s very easy to reach the city centre. Despite being this close to Stockholm, this house is still located in a very quiet place, surrounded by nature. You can walk to a very beautiful lake and a lot of other stunning spots as well, so it’s a perfect location if you want to combine nature and historical sites.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the “trampoline” on the terrace was loved by our kids. Area is peaceful and quiet and communication with the hosts was easy.

It was a wonderful time. Great house, super cozy, very nice host. The connection to public transport is very good, there are several bus lines. The stop can be reached in 6 minutes on foot. The bus line directly to Slussen runs every 15 minutes. The local Coop is a 20-minute walk or two stops by bus. It could hardly be better.
